    There has been talk of GMC having Hummer packages you could add to their product line. I personally think GMC needs to take the Hx and build it as a GMC and give Jeep the Heartache they deserve.

    Why not just take your favorite old auto and convert it to pure EV with a large battery pack to give you a 300 mile range? www.evwest.com does these conversions and you can enjoy your lovely existing auto with far better performance than the MKZ can give you.

    0 to 60 or 0 to 100 is the same BS that people fixate on just like HP and they ignore the real important part, Torque. They all play a part in the larger real picture of how well does an auto move and then sustain that motion. The over hype of DOHC engines with high HP and low Torque is a perfect BS Marketing crap that people have bought into but have failed to realize does not really give them the full satisfaction. You want an engine with a flat torque curve of full torque from beginning to end with decent HP to keep things moving be it at low speed or high speed. Example of this is my Trailblazer SS AWD, This morning I dropped my daughter off at the Park N Ride to catch her bus to work. As I was getting on the freeway to take her auto's in front of me were driving slow and not paying attention to traffic flow. As such, I saw the opening, gave it a bit more gas and zoomed around onto and over into the HOV lane so I could exit 1 stop up at the Park N Ride. She asked me if I felt powerful cause I could step on it and the auto would move faster than everyone else. My answer was no, I felt confident that I could move and get going without wondering if the semi behind would hit me cause of the rest of the careless drivers. My family and their quality of life is far more important than gas mileage and I like having the right tool that allows me to get where I want to go.

    Very cool and a solid package. This should sell like crazy for GM. Bet you see upgrade performance packages from XtremeDiesel, Bullydog and Banks in the next 12-18 months.

    Over all I think the OEM's need to allow Ala-cart building of any auto. Where certain electronics can be bundled for a savings then pass it onto the buyer. Otherwise DO NOT cripple the buyers from building an auto their way.

    Very True but the Stupid MEAT HEADS in Defense will say they have to build them before terrorist countries like Russia, Syria, Iran, North Korea and China builds them. Sadly humanity will be very self destructive to itself.

    Yea another FORD Failure, they just do not get it and my gut tells me FORD will be looking long term at a market decline over the next few years due to the piss poor marketing driven cheapness of the auto's. I know things rust, but when you see a new Mustang and the bulk of the engine is rusty while being new with less than 10 miles on the showroom floor it smells of cut corners.

    Why bother as the car is bland jelly bean style and nothing special to look at from Exterior or interior style. This is a overpriced DOA auto for me.

    So if your argument is to hold water then how do you justify that MB was platform sharing with Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge when they owned them. That would mean that MB cars were $h! since they used the same platform on much cheaper auto's and 99.9999% of people DO NOT know that or car other than auto enthusiast such as our self debating this here. This seems to be more of the Goal Line Moving you have stated in the past to justify MB and bash Cadillac.

    Interesting, the back-end reminds me of MB auto's, the front end got the Ugly Acura multiple eye ball head lamps and the interior dash is a bit of a disappointment for the new Android / Apple auto system. Over all will sell to Honda Faithfull but I do not expect this to win over new buyers. They have been there and done that wit4h Acura so why use a slow selling look on the new Honda. FAILURE!

    Drove through the National park from Banf to Lake Louise and then up to Jasper and drove as far north as I could before running out of road and the repaved roads are so smooth and nice. Was a great vacation trip and the beauty of the area is a must see for people who love road trips.

    You are an amazing person, I showed your posts to my wife who is a clinical psychologist and she says your an interesting case of Denial about anything but your Big Germans. In regards to Cadillac you complain that their cars are too big, too small, not powerful enough, not luxury enough, not competitive enough, not quality enough, not enough models, etc. etc. etc. Many have said you are perfect in how you move the goal posts every time the evidence is pointed out that Cadillac does indeed have a equally or superior auto to the Big German (Your Words). Have you ever thought about just saying it, YOU believe the German Brands are superior in every way to what Cadillac can do / build. Starting off with this, then just post what you do not like or think and save all the goal post movement. Instead of stating that the CT6 cannot compete against 5 series, CLS, A7, etc. etc. etc. Why not just state something like the following: I acknowledge that the CT6 is going to compete against the BMW 5 series, MB E series, and A7 and this is why I believe it will fail, then state your argument and let it go out for debate. It would be so much easier for all.

    WOW Honda keeps making their auto's uglier and uglier just like Toyota. What is up with that.

    Talk about a YAWNER!!!!!! I am tired of these over HP V6 with weak Torque. The car is still ugly with the Predator grill and the design language leave much to be desired but to Lexus fans I am sure they will plunk down their hard earned money and lament how great these rebadged Toyota's are. The only thing impressive is the Turbo 4.
