  1. I personally rarely down or up vote but when I do I then also follow it up with a post of my own explaining or stating my feeling about something. I personally think if you are going to down or up vote a post, you should post a proper response on why you did it so others can understand why and so that it continues the discussion to better inform and educate the over all people who are following the thread.
  2. Yet what you miss is that the Mazda 3 and Focus have low torque engines that have to be rev'd hard to get them to move and then they are lackluster at best, this engine with a butt load of torque at a low RPM will move this car just fine and still have a bit left over to passing with driver, 4 passengers and a load in the trunk.
  3. For those of us that like to Keep our money here in the USA and support jobs so our neighbors have one also and yet we do not fit into a coupe or sedan, this is perfect. Escalade ESV-V Baby! Made for everyone North of 6' 2" tall. or in my case 6'6"
  4. The New Soccer Mom Mobile of the 21st century for the top 5%!
  5. Hey how did you photograph one of the Mad Max auto's that are not trashed yet? JK, I actually remember a photo like this about an auto that had a 6 wheel early type ATV. Weird Climate change, Saturday was 84 and still no breeze, had a barbecue with friends on the deck and it was lovely. Repeated it with family on Sunday and we had to eat inside, was only 68, windy and drizzle. Such is Seattle life.
  6. We'll SMK I am sure will still say his MB FWD appliances are superior to this product line cause it is a Chevy.
  7. That would tend to go against marketing then of having customers move up as they grow up themselves from a basic compact to mid size to full size and pay more for more luxury. So I cannot go with the car grows up with the customer.
  8. So the G63 G wagon weights in at 5622lbs with 536HP and 560lbs of torque in awd with Twin Turbo 5.5L V8. This equals 97.45hp per liter. Top speed 125mph. http://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/vehicles/model/class-G/model-G63 Current Escalade is 5840lbs with 420HP and 460lbs of torque in normal awd with a NA 6.2L V8. Current Escalade ESV is 6040lbs with 420HP and 460lbs of torque in normal awd. I do not see a problem with taking the Escalade to a V edition with the Supercharged 6.2L V8 with 640HP and 630lbs of torque. This equals 103.22hp per liter. Easy to beat the performance of the AMG G Wagon. Interesting to see the comparison of the escalade to the MB GL off cadillacs web site. http://www.cadillac.com/crossover-suvs/2015-escalade/competitive-compare.html
  9. No Problem Olds I have always wondered why companies feel the need to grow an auto from one class to another besides the jones jones race of others added a few inches so we must also. Yet then they end up having to introduce a new auto when the existing one no longer fits in that segment and they need one to fit. We saw how in the 70's and 80's they grew and bloated auto's and ended up having to kill off the car. So the new accord grows to become from mid to full size, the civic grows and goes from compact to mid size and the fit goes from subcompact to compact. So what will the new "FIT" subcompact car be?
  10. Very interesting, I suspect if we reviewed all automakers, we would find that there are plenty of engines that had far better Torque curves but due to bloated weight of the auto they were thought of as lacking.
  11. Awesome job on the headlights, nice over all effort at getting a decent car at a very low price.
  12. So what you are saying is that more people are dumping their MB auto's than American Name plates.
  13. That is freakin SEXY! I'm now going to try and work this into a review. Your going to Conversate your Review?
  14. FAIL and they say software is bloated, the auto companies are on the 70's-80's attitude of growing every auto, we now have AUTO BLOAT!!! The Civic needs a diet in the worst way possible along with getting ride of the Metal Mouth front end.
  15. FAIL - Unless the have perfected a Positronic brain to take weather conditions into account, this will not work in many scenarios, I would not want a car to auto brake for me as it does not know what I might be trying to do.
  16. I also think it would be a good comparison. Thank you. Awesome guys, that is really good input and I know many of us would love to see those comparisons. Would be good to do this in a Mustang vs Camaro 4,6 & 8 comparison chart of current models.
  17. I like this idea but lets add one thing I think GM should have done long ago, take from their Vans, the Mini Stage Coach Doors with Flip up solid glass window. This way you get maximum vision with the ease of access from the Mini Stage Coach Doors. The Vans had them, why not the Suburban. Dump the solid full size lift gate that most people cannot open without an electric motor.
  18. Id do Geneva and Moscow before Dubai and LA.. You want to have international diplomats take a look at this thing. I bet the Russian Mafia would be LOVE this thing too... Let's add in the Yakusa to that Bling loving look. V Baby Baby, V Baby Baby!
  19. Hopefully they will show this at Dubai and LA this year along with the XT5. That would Rock!
  20. I always loved the space in the RAM Mega Cab model, would want the style of the GMC full size pickup with the nice and quiet Duramax Diesel, 4x4 system with the over all size of the GMC 4500 Heavy Duty Pickup Truck. I would love a dually built like this.
  21. Have you tried the following: http://www.recalls.gov/ http://www.safercar.gov/Vehicle+Owners/vin-lookup-sites Specifically use this link to input your VIN. https://vinrcl.safercar.gov/vin/
  22. Can I be honest for a moment? Is there any midsize sedan that has passion? I would argue that the Mazda6 is the most passionate of the bunch since it has a distinctive look and is one of the best driving models in the class. (I can't say anything about reliability though since I only get vehicles for a week - Mazda, could you hand over a 6 for a few months? ;-) Point well made, Your right what mid size sedan that the masses can own really has any passion. It would be great to get one for a few months. I would submit the request to Mazda and see what they say. So in your opinion how does these three stack up against what Ford, GM and Chrysler / Dodge has?
  23. Interesting, I wonder how the state feels about this, here in Washington if you change the mileage unit, you have to file with the state or the repair shop has to so that it is recorded documenting the change and keeping track of the actual mileage.
