    That is Freakin Sexy! I at first thought it was a new generation Avalanche now named All Terrain X. Clearly wrong as it is just a fancy off road package but it does make this stand out. Very sweet!

What are your thoughts? Can DeLorean make a come back? Should they stick with the engine they have, use a modern Turbo 4 or TT V6 or go pure EV? Sound off on your thoughts about this.

    So since you admit that it does not compete with the S Class, then why does it need a V8 now (I say "now" because a V8 is on the way, as you have been told many times here)? The XTS is on the way out and it will no more steal sales from the CTS than the S Class does from the E Class. CT6 needs a V8 because a lot of big luxury sedan buyers like a V8. Chrysler 300C buyers like V8s, Genesis G90, K900 have V8s, the 6-series, CLS and A7 offer V8s. I'd imagine a lot of buyers spending $70k might want the V8 option. Even the Camaro and Mustang have V8s, because sports car enthusiasts like them. CT6 and CTS are $10,000 apart on base price and like $6,000 apart V6 to V6 with all wheel drive. E-class to S-class is a $45,000 jump. Larger gap there. Yet do to the eco system and the required MPG, we see your beloved MB S and E are now coming with 4 and 6 bangers first and then later on with a V8. So how is this any different than Cadillac. I would be surprised if we still have V8 and bigger engines in autos in 5 to 10 years. Electric motors with small engines, the Hybrid will be the norm in the future and eventually pure electric.

    There are dozens of gasoline powered car fires every week. Should we start a thread? Aww... but that wouldn't be hilarious. It would be ho-hum. I'm just glad it was not in a house garage. yes, because peoples' cars burning up is hilarious.... I'm sure we all had a good laugh when you crashed your Festiva. So this was his festiva that was crashed?

    Which only proves they don't know jack about trucks and 4WD. Sounds like the majority of pick up drivers here in Phoenix. All jacked up with no place to go. Oh definitely! I can't imagine all the big lifted useless trucks there are being in Phoenix, lol. I mean there are plenty here as well but I'm pretty sure everything that's lifted will be 4wd. Plenty of lifted, clean, pretty trucks here that will just never see dirt other than the summer when the combines are in the fields kicking up dust in the air. But But But, you have to have a jacked up rig to justify putting your hands all over your girl, guy, partner, spouse, etc. when helping them up into the rig!

    That Dodge is not 4 wheel drive. Never saw anything but the one rear wheel ever move. Either that, or the driver is the biggest 4 wheel driving idiot on the planet. Both rear wheels were spining at one point( Around 44 seconds you can see the far sided one) but either way I never saw a front tire spinning so it had to be 2WD. Yea, it looks to me that you have a 4x4 defender up against a 2wd ram. Put a 4x4 ram against the defender and I doubt the defender would budge.

    I would agree as most were people who would not get in out of the cold or did stupid things, a few were sadly due to accidents. All in All I agree it was Darwinism at work thinning out the weaker ones.

    Awesome video, amazing the ribbed box'd frame around the wheels. It is an intersting way of building and exciting. I feel for OCNBLU as repair on these auto's will be a nightmare I think. Wonder if that egg crate brace member can be replaced. I under stand the need for crumple zones, but WOW talk about the repair work on the car.

    Would it fit a 6'6" tall guy at 300lbs? Probably not. I have heard from my sons best friend that he was disappointed in the latest round of Subaru's. He is married now with a wife and their first son and he traded in his 6 year old Subaru, I think it was an STI, but his newest car while his wife is happy with the Subaru, he feels it does not have the soul of the older models.

    Ram Cummins gets it's ass handed to it by a 4x4 Diesel Land Rover in a game of Tug O War! Guess it is true what they say about experiance in driving and in using your 4x4 in proper gear.

    For $65k, you could get a well equipped new Tahoe LTZ...seems like a better solution. True, but then it is still just a Tahoe compared to my Suburban and the price has gone down while the miles on the battery pack went up. 400 Mile Solution Installation cost approximately $20,000.00 Part Cost approximately $15,219.00 400 mile battery pack $20,576.00 Total Cost $55.795.00 I just can't see putting that much money in a 22 yr old SUV...a new one would be much nicer... Reasons to use a very Clean like New 22 year old suburban and convert to Electric. 1) No GPS in auto or other means for the GOV to track me. 2) Cheap to insure 3) Auto is rust free, paint job near perfect still and I can customize it to meet my needs. Also no auto payment. 4) If I do the conversion myself, I save the $20K installation cost. Might be a good project to do with my son. 5) Those of us who grew up in the 70's remember all the cool custom hot rods and conversions done on vans, stations wagons and Suburbans. The pride of having a custom ride that no one else has. So if I do the conversion myself, then I am down to $35K Plus random other costs for customization that I do. Much cheaper than a new auto. I will say my wife also like you does say lets just buy the newest version and enjoy all the new tech and features in a new one. Yet I will say that while I like a new auto, the new SUV's do not have all the space inside like the old ones. Things to think about, yes it would take a bit of time to do it, versus buying new. Have to think on this long and hard.

    I call BS on this. Marketing has retold stories multiple different ways. So you change the power train for the 3 series and then redo ALL the 3 series at the same time to connect the numbers with the engines. I personally think both BMW and MB needs to do this as their numbering system is a mess now. I'm saying that is the mentality of BMW, not that it's the truth or what I think. Got it, I am amazed by how companies seem to think once something is set, they cannot change. This is a perfect example of needing to change now.
