  1. LOL, When your 6'6" tall 300lbs, the SS is a sporty coupe to me! OK, then I have to copy El Kabong Challenger Hellcat Plum Crazy. Course being a UW Dawg Fan Purple is my colleges Color!
  2. So if it has to be current model year new, then I go for the Chevy SS. built the way I want it comes in at $51,689 for a 2016 SS.
  3. We'll my local Cadillac has a few unsold CTS-V coupes still, lovely but yes they are new but not current year. Do we have to stay new with current year? Just trying to figure out the game.
  4. We'll if it has to be new then a CTS-V Coupe otherwise used would be an ELR or the XLR.
  5. I have to say I really like the new Encore. A much more agressive body style over the current Encore that was also very nice.
  6. I have to say that I like the interior and dash, nice better than most of the ones they have had that looked gimicky and cheap with the floating nav screen. Exterior, BLAH, nothing special, looks like all the other MB jelly bean autos and gives me no reason to even consider it. MB has lost their style mojo, AMG is a watered down mess now. Pathetic, but badge snobs will still buy it.
  7. I know only a couple of these are real concepts but even the photochop ones look good. That little thing really is AWESOME! The only thing they would actually need to change would be the rag-top and it looks like it could be made just like that. Agreed, they could kick ass and sell a ton to the inner city folks who want a compact pickup for their Home Depot runs. No need for mid or full size trucks.
  8. G. David Felt Staff Writer Alternative Energy - www.CheersandGears.com Seattle's Aggressive EV Plan by 2017 / 2025 Living in Washington state where the state has chosen or forced based on your take of the political people in Olympia, the state's capital to move the population from petrol to EV auto's and drop all support for alternative fuels this comes as no surprise to me. Seattle mayor announced yesterday a huge push to triple the number of fast fill charging spots by 2017, only 1 year away as well as cut in half the amount of green house gas produced in Seattle by 2025. How you might ask is he doing this? The city starts with the private residence where they will offer loans / payment plans to encourage people to install their own charger of choice into their garage. Puget Sound Energy (PSE) is offering $500 towards this install, the state is offering up to half the cost and Seattle now will finance the rest. All new private construction must now have included an EV charging station. All new commercial residential buildings (Apartments/Condo's) must have X amount of spots for charging based on the size of the building. All new commercial building period will now be required to reduce transit emissions through building tune-ups every 5 years and other operational improvements this includes having so many charging stations available for use by the work force in the parking garages. Seattle is going to triple by this time next year in 2017 street access charging stations. The city is putting in place plans to support workers living in the city with affordable green housing. Seattle has also committed to an an VOLT fleet of city auto's replacing all gas powered cars. They are also looking to find alternative auto's for their trucks and pushing forward with a complete electric city bus fleet. Video and news coverage is found here: KING5
  9. Remember we are all adults, professional and need to take the higher road and not get sunk into the quagmire muck of auto silliness. Respect each other and make valid cases for your belief and reasoning on why we do what we do.
  10. I think you mean Kia and not Hyundai. Hyundai dropped their minivan (Entourage) in the late 2000s. Yes, thank you for the clarity there, it is Kia who still has a minivan. Still wonder why the name change, would love to see if this was focus group driven or some other marketing or just Sergio wanting to screw everything up before he goes.
  11. WOW, What a beast, that would be cool to drive.
  12. Ummm You forgot Asian Auto's Suck German Auto's Suck French Auto's suck even bigger Italian Auto's suck the most, Sergio must have blown just about everyone for his job. Only ones that do not Suck I think is the smaller communist ones they just blow all the time!
  13. Sounds very competative. I would love to better understand why they dumped their original names and went to use this crossover name plate? Honda, Toyota and Hyundia have not done this. I really hope the Hybrid is as good as it should be and ends up being the darling in sales.
  14. Very interesting, this goes with what I have seen and heard from coworkers. I do also wonder how these services will fair with the recent news of the sexual assaults by drivers? We are in an interesting era where most people still see security and safety in owning their own ride.
  15. VW Just needs to say hey, we screwed up and here is your money back for our failed auto. Take it, scrap it and move on.
  16. Mmm..Lamborghini Espada..only seen a couple of those over the years, at Concours shows. This was clearly a guy in his 60's and drove it like he was going to hell. It was lovely, sounded and looked great.
  17. So this begs to be asked, was he aware of the fraud? Did he have a hand in the mess that is now in front of the world? There has to be a reason for his immediate quiting. This is interesting and seems to have raised plenty of questions on what is VW hiding still? Gut tells me VW will be buying back plenty of auto's for the crusher.
  18. ^^^ +1 So True Drew, EMC Presses very hard to have everyone participate in the greatest place to work surveys.
  19. Good Point probably like Porsche SUV airbag system it will probably have a range to choose from for use.
  20. You can clearly see it does ride about 3-4 inches higher than the regular RR, but I wonder just how high it will be when done. As most companies are lowering all auto's. So this is not that much different, Hopefully better looking though.
  21. This is the right move and my gut tells me all Auto makers over the next 18-24 months will move to a universal platform that can support petrol, Hybrid and EV auto's. Makes sense to have a single platform rather than multiple.
  22. i actually have a 1995 caprice classic, and yes it has a 4.3 v8 also knows as "the baby ls1" Yup the family had a couple of these, all retired and long gone but was a solid baby V8
  23. Electric Vintage Auto's YES YES YES 174.2 MPH one mile run! AWESOME ZOMBIE 222 Gotta love that 427 EV Cobra, that ROCKS also.
