True, not everyone can be pleased, but for those in the high tech crowd, screen size is important and considered luxury. Tesla has set this trend and auto's with screens that are smaller than 10" really are considered dated. I listen to the peeps around me here in seattle and they bash the heck out of auto's with small screens all the time.

Plus do not forget that while being a interesting technology, they are torqueless! Why would anyone want an S class with a TT4 banger. Ya got to be crazy to spend 6 figures on a car with such an engine!

Agree, if we could do Certified used, then a CTS-V would be my choice over the ATS. -
What Would You Buy Instead: Lexus IS200 F Sport Edition

Very true as no one can sit behind me at 6'6" tall but it does meet the guidelines of what one would pick. Personally I will never own a car, always will be SUVs. Yet playing this game of what would you pick. -

Very cool, did not know they had things like that. I grew up with black labs that were trained as bird dogs and I never had a dog take off like that. Yet it does make sense to me. Thanks,

What is the big black box on the collar around the dog's throat?

Very Cool, Love the Dog, Mans best friend! This is how one unwinds from the craziness of the world.

With all the electric motors MB is also doing, they have gone back to their early 1900's roots of smooth ultra quiet cars.

Is Ford Motor Company Falling a Step Behind Rival General Motors?
G. David Felt replied to a topic in Industry News
Be interesting to see with GM having a Global EV auto, Bolt. Who is next to actually deliver a global EV auto. Yes we have lots of options that are announced but actually delivering is another thing. I am actually surprised to not see Ford here with a diverse Global Hybrid lineup. -
G. David Felt Staff Writer Alternative Energy - www.CheersandGears.com Kaiyun Motor Co. China Wants to take on Ford with EV Pickup! CEO and founder Wang Chao believes the China market can easily support 200,000 to 300,000 EV pickups and believes his Pickman EV truck is the answer. Since the founding of his company and production at the end of last year, he has built 5000 of his pickman EV trucks and says he has 100,000 more on order. The Pickman EV truck gets 120 Kilometers / 75 miles on a single charge and sells for 23,800 yuan or about $3,500. Investment to date in Kaiyun Motor is about $300 million and he is working on a second round of about $200 million that should allow him to ramp production and turn a profit. How this all plays out with other Chinease companies that are invested with a billion or more to build full size EV auto's is yet to be seen. Wang believes there is not only room for his compact truck, but also for him to grow it into a full size line as well. Bloomberg Story - Here China Daily News Story - Here Kaiyun Motor Co. In the first picture you can see what I would assume is Kelly K in the background walking towards the house. Dish water Blonde in sweats. Cracks me up at an ad like this. Wonder how many offers she got. That would be one sore mouth.

Industry News: Meet the Fisker EMotion

Intersting, funny that they talk about the new battery tech which was released onto the world in 2012. http://nanotechweb.org/cws/article/tech/48881 Hong Kong is where this idea comes from and clearly it needed time and testing, so maybe they are finally making it work. In 2013 other scientist found that this had great potential for super capacitors, but more research was needed. https://www.technologyreview.com/s/521651/graphene-supercapacitors-ready-for-electric-vehicle-energy-storage-say-korean-engineers/ In 2014 Tesla was working on what they hoped would be a 500 mile battery pack based on this tech, but still nothing yet. http://gas2.org/2014/08/21/tesla-developing-500-mile-graphene-battery/ Companies seem to see a long term use for batteries based on this tech, seems it would allow much smaller, denser and long range power supply. http://graphenebatteries.no/technology.html Over all, I could see graphene batteries finally making the EV a long range no fear auto with super fast charging as the batteries unlike regular or NiCad or Li can take super fast rapid charging with no problem. Gonna have to watch this and see what comes of it. Further cool info: USES FOR GRAPHENE Green technology: Sir Andre and PhD student Lozada-Hidalgo hope that graphene could one day be used in proton-conducting membranes, which are a crucial component of fuel cells, used to power 'green' cars. They found that graphene membranes could be used to extract hydrogen from the atmosphere, suggesting the possibility of combining them with fuel cells to make mobile electric generators powered just by tiny amounts of hydrogen in the air. Medicine: Experts say that graphene could be used as a vehicle for delivering drugs to specific sites in the body, which could one day mean new treatments for people with brain conditions, for example. Transport: Graphene’s strength and lightness makes it an ideal material to incorporate into cars and aeroplanes in a bid to make them safer and more fuel efficient. Thin coatings: The thin and strong material could also be used to make corrosion-proof coatings, packaging and even super-thin condoms Electronics: The material conducts electricity efficiently so it could be used to make new types of smartphones and as well as flexible wearable technology. Purifying water: Scientists are working on using the material as a membrane to separate liquids, so it could one day be used to purify water in areas of the world that do not have access to the essential liquid. That Totally Rocks! Who built it? Cool found the release by GM. https://www.gm.com/mol/m-2016-oct-sema-930-1031-traxactiv.html That is very cool Sema Trax, they for sure need to build this.

That sucks, but totally understandable, they have to recover after this mess that is truly sucking the life out of the company.

Totally expected, now Nissan could really rock the world if they came out with a fun to drive EV line of cars to go with their trucks / suvs. -
