Curiosity kills my cat every day, So here are the side profiles to compare of the following CUVs. 2018 GMC Terrain 2018 Chevy Equinox 2017 Ford Escape 2017 Ford Edge 2017 Nissan Murano Out of all of them I hate the coupe like roof of the Nissan, The Ford Edge has the best side profile of a CUV / SUV but I hate the rear door slant, like it to be more box like for maximizing the interior cargo space. In taking a over all look, I have to say that GMC did an awesome job and nailed it. I really like the floating roof line way better than the Nissan. I have to say it is a toss up for me between the Ford and GMC.
  2. How much where they asking? If tight and clean, not worth flushing everything out in the spring time and seeing it if would fire up?

  4. Update, With the Proterra 400, 500 & 600 mile EV buses having been successful and with King County having finished testing of 9 EV buses on inner city routes, King County just signed with multiple EV bus companies to buy 100 EV Buses for delivery by 2020. This will put many of the 23 mile fast charge buses on inner city streets retiring diesel and hybrid buses and using the Proterra long range buses to move between major cities from bus hub to bus hub with Fast recharging stations at both ends. Seattle will in the short term have the largest EV bus fleet in the nation. The Federal Transit Administration is willing to cover 80% of the cost to have the county retire diesel and Hybrids and move to pure EV buses. King County is projecting about 30 million to be spent on charging systems and their cost of the buses. The battery buses are about $220,000 cheaper than Trolley buses and you do not have the cost of overhead wires and maintenance of the Trolly system. This will clean up the sky's and help to quiet the neighborhood runs as well as inner city runs removing partical pollution and noise. This is a drop in the bucket as King County Metro has over 1400 buses, but it is a start and will help to move the county to cleaner lower maintenance buses reducing costs to the tax payer and giving the riders a quieter, cleaner ride. Since 2000 King county has had a mandate to have the cleanest fleet in the nation by using Hybrid buses. EV buses will help them push past their 70% Hybrid / CNG bus fleet as they hope to be 100% by 2025 or later.   5. Interesting, but we have grown to huge powerful V8's and now it would seem the Gov's have forced us to small engines that put out power like a 1990's V8. Be interesting to see how long these engines truly last compared to an EV motor.
  6. Your Government at work protecting you! Smaller windows, use cameras to show you the world as they have to protect you from yourself. After all people will harm people, so the gov has to protect you from making decisions that they would not agree with. As such before you know it we will all be in self driving tanks with no windows so we are safe from the world. Remember Time Cop?

  8. I am shocked, I actually like the style, have to agree with @frogger that the nose on the car reminds me of a shaver and makes you want to grab the auto, and shave your face. Inside I am mixed by, not really taken by the dash.
  9. I have to say that Nissan hit it right on this car, I like the look and flow of this car. Very cool. I especially love the return of Suicide doors!
  10. Nice specs but a number of Failure Points! Failure 1, only 37 miles pure electric? Li cells have gotten dense enough where this really needs to be double that at least. Failure 2, Why the Hell Coupe? Again, so over with this whole coupe crap and the loss of head room, storage in the back, etc. If you want a coupe buy a car, leave the CUV/SUV market where it should be fully functional not retarded and diminished. Failure 3, while it has the Audi nose, the rest of it makes me think I am looking at a Lang Rover. Very uninspiring and lacks and creative external design. I could go on with what I see as failures, but leave some for others to comment about.
  11. Interesting, not bad, not a fan of all the Chrome. The interior is my big beef. We are in a fluid world and that interior looks cheap to me as a snap together clunky interior rather than a smooth flowing dash. The dash also looks cheap to me in comparison to others.
  12. Interesting, nice looking but jelly bean shape for me, too feminine. Pass. Love the Interior. Just dawned on me, this reminds me of the first generation Durango.

I really am liking this more and more now.
  14. I understand the point you are trying to make, when your 280lbs, 6'6" tall of muscle, most asian auto's do not fit me. For a CUV, I expect space and this failed on that. Yes, this was a 2017 CX-9 and I have to say I was totally shocked by the sluggish Bluetooth. My son also was very unimpressed with the slow response.
  15. RIP Terrain, I will miss your boxy self. This is nice and I am sure I will come to like it, but right now, I really miss the butch Terrain, this is more Feminine. Dial transmission based on the photo, Hmmmmmmm Not sure how I like that but I do realize that technology is there for a reason and no reason to not embrace an electric transmission shifter.
  16. I for one do not like the Golf, so that is a no go for me as this will be. Plus what is up with the underpowered engine? For a 3 row seat CUV, it should have more power.
  17. Another Near 300 mile range EV, Makes me think that the density of EV's can be greater than we think. I am excited for this product.
  18. Day Time Driving Lights! What is the problem with all Auto companies making this a standard? Driving up to ski yesterday and back home both at Twilight, it was amazing how many auto's seem to NOT have Day Time Driving Lights and Auto On lights. I say BS to the bulk of the nanny devices like auto braking, lane drift monitoring, but one thing I wish was required is Day Time driving lights and auto on head lights. Seems Toyota is the worst offender, along with Subaru. I could be wrong and they might have this feature and the idiot owners just have it off but damn, it is hard to see some of these auto's at twilights especially when they are grey, black or any other dark color that can fad into that light spectrum. Just cause they think they can see good, does not mean others can or when in a hurry they must think they are hidding from the cops or some other dumb reason. Really wish all auto's had Day time driving lights and autoon lights. Tired of Prius owners getting on the road with no lights at all on or just marker lights and driving cause they are too stupid to notice that the road is not lite up and then they cut you off and almost cause an accident.
