  1. Nothing that I am aware of.
  2. It will be interesting to see how sales do, if they fall, then I would say this is one of the reasons why.
  3. Is that really true? I know multiple magazines say it, but I have to question it when you see so many Miatas out on road rally races.
  4. I love the Floating Roof look, but the way they did the section between c & D pillars with Sheet metal rather than window tells me they went cheap here and added a unneeded blind spot. I do not care if they have blind spot warning, not everyone wants to have Nanny devices and I for one prefer doing my shoulder checks and seeing out the windows.
  5. The RED Space is a deal breaker for me on this ride!
  6. According to my cousin who did this on a Bolt, they took the Fed $7,500 and California $7,000 so they got the $14,500 off a fully loaded Bolt. Wish my state would give a rebate on top of the feds.
  7. The old version I love, inside needed major work, but over all I loved the exterior look. The New one is nice, but I hate the headlights with that crazy down curve design and the back quarter between the C & D pilar. Why go up and cut out window visibility? That makes no sense to me and I consider piss poor design. Love the floating roof look, but hate the small back windows. I see no reason to have done that at all. Would rather have bigger windows with more visibility.
  8. So you like the older Terrain over the newer version? Interesting, what does everyone else think? 2018 GMC Terrain 2016 GMC Terrain
  9. I believe that without Quiet steel technology and a humongous does of sound deadening material, the short wheel base just transmits all the noise. I notice that the Regular Escalade is more noisy than an ESV version. I also have relatives that own both an RDX and MDX and of course the MDX is quieter than the RDX, Have to believe less sound material is being used in the cheaper RDX.
  10. Clearly makes it a $45K truck in base form with the starting at $52,500 and the $7,500 fed credit. Not a bad deal.
  11. Only Reason Fiat has sales is cause it is a quality Miata under that skin.
  12. I can see this selling very well to Fed, State, County and City gov agencies as the 2200 lb bed capacity will cover the needs of parks and road maintenance. Plus the fact that the onboard generator can act as a power source working out in the field. This saves them from having to buy a generator for on sight work where no electrical plugs are easily available. I see ton's of many good uses for this truck plus the 80 miles pure is outstanding for city dwellers as they can probably mostly drive in pure electric mode.
  13. That is why I love my Escalade, so quiet, perfect for comfy road trips. Even buying a 2 or 3 year old version is worth it when you want a great highway cruiser.
  14. Totally can understand, yes clutchless shifting is hard on a transmission without experience. I learned and then rebuilt my trans, but that was long ago and no I just enjoy the experience of speed shifting.
  15. Very Cool I clearly see the Ridgeline in the front but F150 in the rear. What they have there is awesome. I had to laugh at their use over and over of the word unnerving. Seems the writer has not spent enough time in the ultra quiet EVs. LOL
  16. Very Cool, Once you get your high speed or aggressive driving shifts down, I then Challenge you to take it one step further. Learn to speed shift in your auto. That does depend on RPM but man can you fly for fast responsive changes and lots of aggressive driving fun! Not sure what I am talking about here is a good overview. http://www.ehow.com/how_2084716_speed-shift-manual-transmission-drag.html Also you can then take this one step further with clutchless shifting, timing is everything but once you learn your timing, you can shift without depressing the clutch. Your car is very cool, Rock on!
  17. I go with 2004, First year of SRX, CTS both were a big jump in the right direction for Cadillac.
  18. If Tesla is having high repair issues, that is scary as EVs are supposed to be less maintenance. I so agree with this list of 15 Most Disappointing Travel Destinations. Been to half and was totally of the feeling, this was a waste of time. http://www.msn.com/en-us/travel/article/the-most-disappointing-travel-destinations-on-earth/ss-BBABagZ?li=BBnb7Kz#image=1
  19. Interesting is they just posted their Top 5 affordable EVs and the BOLT was #1. Top 5 affordable electric vehicles http://roadshow.co/pXIB1v via @Roadshow
  20. Ranked: The top 5 electric SUVs http://a.msn.com/00/en-us/BBz3VvC?ocid=st Interesting
  21. Now we know the truth about the fake extra long shifter! Just look at that break towards the top, Kinda a lorena bobbitt job?
  22. Very Cool Is this the mid engine stingray and they also have a traditional corvette? Or is the traditional corvette going away?
  23. My thought is that many state, county and city gov's are wanting a EV pickup that can haul and tow short distances. This would be a perfect market for them as well as GM who ever gets there first and then you would have the public seeing these silent strong machines getting daily work done. Your right that in the mid west, this would be a hard sell, but I think the east and west coast would buy it up. Not a hybrid as GM has tried but a pure EV.
