  1. Thank you for admitting that MB could not compete in the US for the truck business. This just proves it with this rebadge job they did.
  2. Yea, who would want incapable cars? After all so many Douchebags drive them!
  3. GM did the right thing to dump the ball and chain of the past garbage. After all that is what bankruptcy is for but sales of the SUV segment for GM did not drop that much to say it was not selling.
  4. Interesting, other than the Diesel option, the Buick Envision would be a better buy.
  5. WOW, CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP, This truly drops their star to below Korean built auto's. Pathetic, they might as well not even done it. Jeep Kit Trucks are better than this!
  6. GM sent out a private invitation to buy a new GM auto, 2017 or 2018 auto, with the pin included in the mailing, here is the discounts available on all GM products. Some pretty nice rebates that can be transfered to anyone else living at the same address with proof of address on a DL. 90 days deferred payment start, Must finance through GM Financial, FL, PA and TX are exempt from the 90 day deferred payment start. States can be used with other available programs, but a few are exempt, dealership to see Corporate Program # 17-40CBI. Interesting
  7. Interesting to read when you see the number of beta auto's being tested in the US and Germany. They clearly got a bunch of money in the beginning, but now based on the last few stories, I have to think someone pulled out funding for them to freeze everything and now have to search for more capital. Bet this is owned in the next 12-18 months by China or some investment group.
  8. Yes your just stating the obvious, bunch of CUV's, a sedan, coupe and they have the segment covered. Nothing new or surprising about this. Now if they said the whole product line was Hybrid or EV only, that would be newsworthy and interesting.
  9. True, $4 gas and higher separates those that can afford an SUV from those that are living paycheck to paycheck. For me, I am very frugal, but will always have my comfort, so I plan on high gas prices while I drive my suburban, full size SUV's. I would rather not waste time on the Jones Jones race of competing with my neighbors, who cares, I will drive my comfort SUV. Disagree with you here as yes during our recession of 2007, everyone felt the pinch but GM did not see it as bad as other auto makers. There is still a need and demand and those that do not like debt will have the cash to buy what they want and drive what they want. I am one of those.
  10. One thing different if I ever get some spare change is to take the air intake vents in the front, chevy logo's and rims and have them all black chromed so they would better blend with the rest of the ride.
  11. Total Truth, Been in SUV's my whole adult life, will never be in a car. SUV's Rock!
  12. Anyone have an updated chart for this thread? I would love to know where the age demographics are now!
  13. Spent the day and gave my SS the spa treatment. Now all set for summer. Gotta love that smooth waxed painted surface.
  14. 1969 Dodge Charger, That will buff out!
  15. Interesting and exciting at the same time. I am surprised it took them this long to raid Porsche for engines for Audi.
  16. Based on what I have seen from an Aerodynamics stand point, you can get the same flow with just minor turbulance in this style, I do not think we will see the Ocean size trunks come back but I can see a smaller trunk and more of an upright rear window style. A flowing front end that comes to a back end style of window and then the trunk. Kinda blending the CUV rear with a 4 door sedan. That is how I see the next trend in car design. I believe we will see a blend of CUV / car in the cars.
  17. Still the Coupe on a sedan body style that I believe is a DEAD Design trend. I think in the next 18-24 months we will see a move away from the Coupe Design for 4 door sedans.
  18. True, a performance coupe is a very limited market. It might work for a very limited product line from a small company like PoleStar. Still think it is one of the nicer cookie cutter designs and better than MB. Wish they had picked something more useful to a bigger audience than a coupe.
  19. Nice looking car, but was it really that much gap between the fender and the top of the tire? UPDATE - OK, now that I have seen the other pic it is a nice clean tight package now. Cool
  20. Totally agree, pretty sweet looking coupe. Mercedes Benz should study this on how to make a decent looking auto.
  21. Hate the white interior, and the moron from Acura must have moved over to Honda with that stupid buck tooth grill chrome crap idea.
  22. Makes one wonder why the OEM does not think about giving their best foot forward in every powertrain version for these loaners. Very weird!
  23. While I was hoping they would push outside their conservative view of auto design, I guess I was hoping for too much as the look does not impress me at all and why drop the already ride height any more. That is just crazy. This will loose sales as people do not like pushing up from the ground to get out of a car nor do they like to drop into the groud to drive or ride. Sad
  24. Awesome, nice update on the car, pics clearly show what you were stating about inside. Interesting. AWD V6 I can clearly seeing in the snow belt as being a valuable option. Wish they would get a V8 option with AWD out.
