  1. Interesting, Wonder how this will hold up when people for the same price can get a V8 corvette with stick. So many questions and yet so early that all this could change. Course I still wonder if the Supra is to be a $50K car, how people would justify spending that money on a turbo 4 or turbo 6 compared to the V8 options out there for the same cash.
  2. Have to laugh at this only because of the story link, Thank you for posting and how the writer says the new auto has such an edgy design. Clearly they need to get out more and visit other auto makers as VW is anything but Edgy. I do agree all VW should be on their MQB platform and that includes their upcoming EV's.
  3. Will Agree while it would be sad to see Chrysler and Dodge die, there are way too many name plates and you might as well just consolidate and clean house. Europe loves the stupid terrible Fiat, so that will not go but then FCA could have saved a bundle on not wasting time with Fiat or trying to bring back Alfa and just invested in Dodge for the US. Jeep and Ram are and should be here long term. I question the future of Dodge and Chrysler. Time to bite the bullet and clean house if FCA is to survive.
  4. WOW, considering I will stay true to my roots, that means American built only EV's. Chevrolet BOLT Tesla X Ford Focus Elcar - Gotta Love these quirky EV's. Citicar by Sebring-Vanguard another quirky EV.
  5. Love your post and would give you the laughing smiley too if I could. Pontiac should have been GM EV platform back in the days, now I just hope GM does not let the VOLT / BOLT technology rot on the vine and everyone else pass them up.
  6. I know some VW fans will glow over this auto, but really, this is what VW considers sporty? Red lines are butt ugly, should have just left the grill all black. Where is the body sports kit? This really looks bland!
  7. Truly a last Hurrah for FCA as I expect many EV CUV's in the next year to Trump this Trackhawk. Then they will have to cut the price in half to just sell them.
  8. Cool info, ya know the standard Tesla 3 is out there for someone to find and post, just everyone want too show off the higher priced version and say look it beats everyone. lol
  9. Sounds like the Hyper Loop would serve the people proud!
  10. Sweet rides, Hope the person who bought it loved it as it is weird that it was never really driven. Wonder why?
  11. Rock on AWESOME Will say I find it funny that they have listed Rhino color as Exclusive when you can get it on the Altitude edition as my son has it. Also, surprised by some of the options. I would have thought these kinds of options would be included in this as a no options top of the line ride. Honestly who is gonna race this as a stripped SUV race auto? Still love that this is available.
  12. GMC Wins! The look of the Ford is just not good IMHO. That GMC Rocks I also agree with you, not a fan of the Ecoboost V6.
  13. Me think if I had the cash, take my 94 suburban, convert to in-wheel hub motors as an AWD EV and the front would get converted into a frunk! So cool
  14. August 21st will play hell with self driving cars too.
  15. Very cool Model A and his Ford Truck, Love your GMC version! that just Rocks!
  16. Be interesting to see how they handle tumbleweeds. A storm of Tumbleweeds crossing the roads. Might just freak the little electrons out!
  17. GM Skateboard Baby, Always been an innovator in technology. Amazing is that another company has built many EV platforms trying to get OEM's to buy their setup to use in EV auto manufacturing. Trexa, they started off with their Tube design and then now have their own skateboard design.
  18. I can see the extreme heat waves causing issues for the cameras on the autonomous auto's.
  19. No Love, Everyone's back is turned to the baby. I am suprised it is not crying a river of black from being ignored.
  20. Cadillac Escalade Hybrid Cadillac CT6 Hybrid Cadillac ELR Hybrid GMC Yukon Denali Hybrid Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid
  21. OUCH, $14 million is not much and I question it will allow them to get the hardware to build the cars. The Capital Partners who put up their HQ to invest here took a risky and not a smart move. I suspect all will be lost. I really doubt as much as I like Faraday that they will get their auto into production and sales. Some China company will probably end up owning them in the near future.
  22. Probably, but hopefully they will realize that off road there are more dirt than sand. I know the Baja was all the rage when the Raptor was thought up and born, but now so many more options and Ford needs to deal with that axle hop.
  23. H'mmmmm Why do I feel that FCA is going to cannibalize the Wrangler!
  24. Cool Read on King of the North for off road pickups. http://www.msn.com/en-us/autos/autos-trucks/king-in-the-north-chevrolet-colorado-zr2-vs-ford-f-150-raptor-vs-ram-2500-power-wagon/ar-AApB2q2?li=BBnb7Kz#image=AApB2pY|92 Interesting to see who comes in last and who is first. I wish the ZR2 had the diesel engine option over the V6. To me the V6 is the wrong engine for the ZR2.
  25. G. David Felt - Staff Writer Alternative Energy - www.cheersandgears.com Euro EV Truck, Not for the US 59 horsepower, 167 pound feet of torque, 22 kilowatt battery pack, and a 100 mile range a Ford F150 this is not. Yet as I have stated in other forums and auto threads, I truly believe inner city folks as well as city governments would love to have a true mini pickup, not a mid or full size, but a true mini pickup truck that seats 2 people and can still carry a decent amount of weight. In this case, 1,400 pounds. Kolle, a conversion company in France is taking the Renault Kangoo Z.E. electric delivery van and converting it into a pickup truck. Clearly you still have reminders that this was more than a truck by the high sides, stagecoach doors in back and tall tail lights. The conversion costs $16,400 US based on current exchange rates. Since Renault does not sell in the US, you will not see this little EV mini truck here, but the thoughts of taking the Nissan e-NV200 electric minivan and converting it does ring a decent idea. Makes one wonder if GM would consider doing this to their city express minivan which is from Nissan. Possible decent way to grow the EV segment by taking the production line of Nissan / Chevrolet minivans and adding to the EV van offering with an EV mini truck offering. green car report story
