  1. Toyota's Design for autonomous auto's does not give me much faith of having exciting transport.
  2. @Cubical-aka-Moltar @Drew Dowdell We need a Puke Reaction, All I could do is laugh at those toasters / trams rather then Puke!
  3. I know the stories say the hood scoop will not be there, but I can see it on a V edition of the Car. Yes it has the over all body of the Escala car and I will say for a 4 door coupe sedan it is one of the better executed if they hold close to the concept. Yet with that, being said and as we have discussed how homogenized the car segment has become, I was hoping for something more. I wonder how close to the interior it will stay?
  4. Meh, no big deal, I like the cross grill better, but I am sure this will sell to the faithful and grow on everyone.
  5. Since we have seen crease lines on the lower section of the sides of an auto, you would think you could play more with the Aero roof and pillars to give it a better look. I agree with you totally right now the Coupe 4 door look is so homogenized to be forgettable.
  6. Car is a fine generic car as cars go, red lines added a sports car do not make. I guess I am just not a VW customer as it is still very bland looking, forgettable to me.
  7. Totally agree with you, I like the slider and the variable size it becomes depending on your web window.
  8. Talk about Mud Fun Sliding, Prius with driver caught in mudslide flowing down the road. https://www.usatoday.com/videos/news/2018/01/11/prius-slides-down-hill-propelled-california-mudslide/109365532/ More amazing pics of the mudslides in CA. http://www.sfgate.com/bayarea/article/Prius-swept-away-Burbank-mudslide-video-rain-12491505.php
  9. CES 2018 - Honda Electric World of Wonder Honda CES Web Page This week we have the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas and Honda has had their day today by showing off their new electric powered products using a mobile power pack that is plug in play for their ATV, UTV, Scooter, and so much more. Their new 3E concepts are all AI empowered to help humans live a better life. Honda not only thought of how this could be used as a portable power supply with ease of use but also how it can work in a consumer assist mode such as their new 3E Robotics Devices. These cover an AI powered UTV (3E-D18), ease about powered chair and so much more. 3E Concept Robotics Devices At Japans population grows into their senior years, births have been going down and with no emigration allowed, Japan is finding the need for robotic help for their population to be in more demand than ever. Honda has focused on Empowering humans with Empathy and an experience of freedom from their robots.
  10. Guess it is a Malibu / MB Coupe based butt. Over all I dislike the lack of distinct rear decks. Coupe design is overdone now on all auto's.
  11. WOW, Talk about a Butt by MB, Cut off nose for the front and just weird lines over all, Honda design language does nothing for me. Sad as they build pretty reliable auto's excluding the stupid engineering parts on their CRV from what we know via Drew.
  12. @ccap41 I get your point and agree with what your saying except for the Acura, Drew hit the nail on the head with the button abomination comment! In regards to the Acura, Lincoln wins best out of the 3 dash's.
  13. Yea, not much better in the Lincoln MKX 2018 version of the Edge. Sorry @ccap41, but for the money we know they will charge for this, they need to do much better than this.
  14. Nice looking CUV, they have improved this allot with plenty I do like about the auto. Dash is the failure here for me, the minimalist, hard plastic just comes off CHEAP on an auto that we know is going to cost some serious dollars as it is the ST top of the line version. This is where Ford fails for me is they put some cool tech, build a nice looking auto and then go cheap on the inside where you spend the bulk of your time. Seats look nice, rest of the interior based on these pictures is ok, but the dash is the failure here IMHO.
  15. Guess someone thought of strong roll over protection over ease of getting in and out. Weird for sure, but cool.
  16. I have to say I am probably on extreme ends of the music spectrum. I grew up playing trumpet and piano so I love Jazz, but also just about everything else out there. Lately, I have been bouncing back n forth between Japanese Jazz, Depeche Mode and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Toshiki Kadomatsu Keiko Matsui Depeche Mode Red Hot Chili Peppers
  17. That is a really cool story and awesome engineering out of the box thinking.
  18. I know you can imagen names even if they are just funny takes. Solar Ray Solaria Sprout Verdous Virile Vigor Stout Spry So many options to represent the EV auto's and what would imply green, clean, healthy, etc.
  19. Just imagine all the new EV badges that are going to come out. Be interesting to see if and how they spin the EV lines of auto's.
  20. OK, giving me the date, I think it is a custom conversion as a number of companies in the 80's and 90's would take the trucks and turn them into custom camper trucks. Chinook conversions was the biggest on any body style they offered even on the Extra cab.
  21. ST I know has been used as a trim level but it could also be the badge for one of their EV's that they could show off. EcoBoost ST is a cool sounding name for an EV Auto.
  22. I have been in them and love the ability to stretch my long legs out and the fact that the rear bench has a 6 inch slide so you can pull it forward and be more like a supercrew truck or standard crew cab with plenty of storage room behind the seat.
