  1. Would be a smart move for Lincoln to have Gullwing, Scissor, Suicide doors and more as you can use the same platform, but the style, interior and doors would make it different enough to not have comparisons.
  2. Nice Touch but they have many other issues they need to address besides putting on retro cool Suicide doors.
  3. Compared to ALL Traditional TT V8 motors, the PUSHROD is Smaller packaged, weighs less and takes up less Space. Cadillac took a totally different approach and put both Turbo's in the Valley of the V so rather than be on the outside of the motor, it is in the center. Electronic Turbo's do not need the pulley to drive them and can be packaged for a tight design something that another member had brought up long ago in the original start of debate about Pushrod versus DOHC motors. Yet NO ONE not even MB has packaged them this way to be tightly integrated. This is truly a change in thinking to package and drop the added weight of the plumbing, belts, etc. Truly a more efficient design now that materials and computer programming have dealt with the Thermal issues. Will all be nothing once AWD EV with proper battery packs takes over.
  4. Very Cool, my vote went to V.1 Both are nice, but I like the bigger fatter letters.
  5. I totally remember those as My grandma had one in California with those color matched rims. Loved that car.
  6. I myself have never had Facebook. Instagram and LinkedIn are the only social media I have.
  7. Tesla and SpaceX Facebook accounts Deleted by Elon Musk Musk Tweets What is Facebook as he has deleted his Tesla and SpaceX accounts. Seems Facebook is not reliable, safe or should even be used anymore. http://money.cnn.com/2018/03/23/technology/elon-musk-facebook/index.html http://www.businessinsider.com/elon-musk-deletes-tesla-spacex-facebook-pages-2018-3 Business insider expands on the story by pointing to 2016 when a SpaceX rocket that was supposed to launch a Facebook Satellite blew up costing Facebook millions. Some interesting reads and challenges. What do you think?
  8. Mini hey day is over. Those that wanted a cracker jack box sitting on the ground have them, the bulk of people want an auto that carries their stuff, friends and fits into an active lifestyle. The only one they have that does that is the Countryman that sits up higher and is a bit bigger inside. I can see them still having a model below this, but I think Mini needs to either grow some bigger versions or plan to accept limited sales to limited people.
  9. Would not happen as without the pallet guide and being enabled, once you choose your color, it stays that way till you activate it and then select a new color, so a bird landing on the car would not change it. Plus while some do seem to forget where they parked, that is the reason for the fob and the ability to turn on the flashers and honk the horn. I am sure you would still be able to find your auto Ocnblu.
  10. ATS V beats Infiniti The lower you go the bigger any spoiler looks but when your right behind it, it looks well balanced and far better than the Jelly Bean Rear of the Infiniti.
  11. Economy of Scale always brings price down. Just takes a Dream, some work and eventually it becomes common.
  12. @balthazar @smk4565 Pretty much a wash between AWD models, but the 2WD Escalade is the same weight as the awd GLS 550. I am sure both companies will shed some weight with their next models. Plus GM can put in more powerful NA V8's, so many more reliable GM engine options than MB has.
  13. Makes sense in markets that have lower income levels and or tight roads like old Europe that subcompact Jeep could be as hit.
  14. Love that color too, Had no Idea they built these with that Color. Shame they do not offer it still on the current models. What the auto company needs to do is build ALL AUTO's with a base paint job that is like in the Movie Total Recall where the secretary is able to tap a color pallet and change her fingernails to whatever color she wants. This way you could give people a total custom color job with endless possibilities.
  15. I would take the current Escalade with the TTV8 as a V-Sport and with the Supercharged V8 as the V edition.
  16. I also hope they add an Extended Length model. I can see sales of a CT6-L edition. Awesome would be a CT6-L V-Sport and CT6-L V edition. Bravo and VALID points! Totally agree that they seem to be missing many models in their lineup. This I blame on Johan being an idiot and not getting the right product to market faster. Yes Cadillac has made great progress since the First Escalade, but they need to speed up getting said product out and turning Amazing Concepts into actual Products.
  17. We have seen plenty of FWD/AWD auto's that are performance AWD models. I think you could easily beef up the proper powertrain components and have a V-Sport edition of the XT5 using the TTV6 or if it could fit, wedge in the TTV8 and have an XT5 V edition.
  18. Yet Audi has had great SALES INCREASES with their FWD/AWD platform and it has not hurt them nor is there any stigma about them being FWD/AWD just like Cadillac, Acura, Lexus, etc..........
