  1. Been seeing these lately all over the Greater Seattle area. Seems to be a very popular family hauler. I wonder if this is due to the following for Washington Resident purchases. Fully Loaded Hybrid Limited is $48,825 here $7,500 fed tax break $1000 Chrysler incentive Washington State no Sales tax on EV's / specific Hybrids such as this model. Save $4,883 in sales tax. ?
  2. Looks like two cars one across the front of it, agree tight wrap like this is not good.
  3. I do not remember that chrome bar on the front. Exciting they are here, but will have to wait till I see more on them. Was the Sport model, top of the line Monochromatic? ?
  4. The bland styling of this auto and the terrible front nose just make it a puke fest for me. Pass, I see nothing inside or out that would make this an exciting auto to own. While I would never own a German auto, I would take a German auto over any of the over rated garbage Italians make.
  5. I get what your saying
  6. Weird part here in Seattle is the white boys love the asian auto's and the asian boys love the american pony cars. Very weird to see this at the local car club shows.
  7. Lets actually go with his inauguration day when he is held accountable for the stock market, not the past president. From this point forward he truly had control of changing the dynamics and now we sit near this point again on Xmas day just shy of 2 years in the white house. The Dow closed at 19,827.25 on Inauguration Day, Jan. 20, 2017
  8. Short term they will succeed, but long term, I agree unless they morph into something else, this will be a dead end business in a decade.
  9. Totally agree, from an engineering standpoint, I see no reason to not have a skateboard concept that could also still handing 4 and 6 cylinder motors. As a global platform, that would allow a large array of power train options for various market needs around the world and would pay for itself.
  10. Agreed, we have been long overdue for a correction. https://money.cnn.com/data/markets/ Apple is down to $146 and change. Over all this week to the end of the year will be profit taking and I would not be surprised to see the market hit 20K and then bounce back up to around 21-22k. The KKR published in mid 2017 saying the US would be in a deep recession by the end of 2019. https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-07-13/kkr-predicts-us-recession-2019-and-inevitable-cycle-millennial-deleveraging Now many various places are saying it too and it seems the drop in stock market, over long crazy trillion dollars of debt by businesses and the billions in personal debt will take us there. It is going to be interesting to see what all happens next year.
  11. Hope Koch Brothers die an ugly death soon. They are spending millions to attack the lovely EV industry. https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/koch-electric-vehicles_us_56c4d63ce4b0b40245c8cbf6 Death to these pigs!
  12. Rivian has a new brand ambassador! https://stories.rivian.com/meet-alex-honnold?mc_cid=0f022111d4&mc_eid=353c4b65f1 Alex Honnold who did the free solo climb with no ropes of El Capitain. Very cool Movie!
  13. All variations of Black!
  14. Nothing is perfect. Never will be, if it was then god would exist as everything would be perfect, but it is not.
  15. First off EVs are NOT TOYS! Sedcond, for the size and what is currently offered, there is no compromises with electrics, they have beaten many times ICE auto's. Third, ICE is the present, will become a dwindling of the future in YOUR LIFE TIME! I believe there is enough competition for competent assembly line workers to keep wages inline. Too much info and protective rights especially for companies from socialist Europe to try and go rock bottom cheap wages. Quality will keep things in check I believe.
  16. Renault such a Socialist corrupt place France is. Not surprised as they see it as business as usual compared to Asian countries honor. Clearly he stepped on some small toes bringing reaction to his abusive ways. Judge releasing him is normal, also normal for prosecutors to keep digging to find new charges.
  17. Same way ICE auto's were regimented for the first 1/3rd of their existence and in some 3rd world places still is.
  18. Very weird considering I have not been to any of the places it says I talk like.
  19. Plus these people are not gonna bitch about the price of the battery pack, they want to be the ubber green show off.
  20. Bentley is BLAH style, Old Europe Old Thinking, OLD OLD OLD, Why buy a Bentley when you can have so many far better options including EVs. Bentley needs to revolutionize themselves or die off to the history books.
  21. @Cmicasa the Great I totally get what you are saying above. I also know you and I have allot in common too including that while we love our little Amish boy @ocnblu and his stuck to the past thinking, you and I are for the future and the excitement that comes with it. Have a great Holiday weekend my friends! @A Horse With No Name @Robert Hall and everyone else here at C&G! Especially our fearless leader @drew
  22. Mix is good, we need a mix of educated, political, driven people to keep America Great as it always has been. That is why the Auto industry is such a passion, the great mix of options. Something hopefully for everyone. Horse n Buggy for our Amish members to EVs for the future forward thinking like you and me.
  23. I choose all 3, trade in that crappy Hyundai, ban the half wit and enjoy that lovely pizza!
  24. I think Japanese saw him as a flight risk and have additional charges they will use to keep him in prison as we see new charges added every 10 days. Just a gut feeling on this.
