WOW wonder what made the cab pop off like that. Wonder if it is rust.

Yes if as Drew stated driven in an optimal manner which goes against human nature. Worst part is the CVTs over the long haul just do not keep up the strength. Auto's with them might as well move right to a Plug=in hybrid design with ICE generator as a superior powertrain than go to the CVT.

Looking at the Edmunds site for the 2018 ZL1 V8 comes in at 3883 lbs USA Today story says the 2019 ZL1 V8 comes in at 3933 lbs https://www.edmunds.com/chevrolet/camaro/2018/zl1/features-specs/ http://www.uscartoday.com/2019-chevrolet-camaro-zl1-specs-and-price/ So it would seem that if the ZL1 gained weight, so would the others I am thinking as to why they have lost 1MPG.

I have to wonder how much of his Tweeting clashes with the SEC and FTC rules? ? Gotta think that this is part of his attack to hurt Short Sellars. Currently it looks like according to other news stories cost short sellars up to $13 billion dollars. Crazy times we live in.

Subaru News: Import Tariffs Will Cause A 'Big Impact' At Subaru
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Subaru
That makes sense if you sell a ton of specific models, but what if you have a few models that can be profitable but sell in such small numbers that it does not make sense to have an assembly plant in every country. Then you would not want that from a business standpoint and just import them. This is where we see a killing off of a wide diverse options in auto's as it does not make business sense to build every auto in every country. Sometimes importing is the better way to go in regards to giving consumers a wide choice to choose from. -
Having grown up and built race cars, I can respect and understand the sound vibration feel of an ICE auto, yet I also would love the much faster Star Wars sounding 600HP EV Mustang. I would take the EV over the ICE. Way past the maintenance of ICE auto's and ready for the lower maintenance of an EV auto.

http://www.autonews.com/article/20180801/RETAIL01/180809976/july-us-auto-sales?AID=%2F20180801%2FRETAIL01%2F180809976 Good read on the industry, we have seen these numbers in what Will posted, but always good to review them again. It would seem that the Germans especially Daimler is leading the charge in Sales Incentives. One has to wonder what is going on in those companies.

Subaru News: Import Tariffs Will Cause A 'Big Impact' At Subaru
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Subaru
This is going to be a really interesting watch as Subaru I just read is one of the shortest on lot sits of any automaker. Subarus sit on average of 42 days before being sold in comparison to Fiat the longest of any dealership sitting on the lot for 6 months plus. -
So if your jeep was everything you have now, just an electric powertrain you would still stay with gas when you could charge at home much cheaper?

Searched every Buick dealer in Washington state, found one Verano on the lot, otherwise it would seem the dealers here do a better job of managing inventory than the east coast.

Anyone ever eat Veroni? Italian type of Salami looks and sounds yummy. Italian traditional cured meats at a much higher quality level than traditional cheap versions. http://www.philly.com/philly/business/veroni-italian-food-company-ham-prosciutto-mortadella-new-jersey-plant-20180807.html

Story is a year old, but I have to say has some valid points made. https://www.cnbc.com/2017/04/25/cars-are-sitting-on-the-lot-longer-even-as-dealers-sweeten-the-offers.html They talk about how the average MSRP from all auto companies is now based on a 10.5% incentive level in the suggested retail price. This tells me that instead of selling a solid auto at a reasonable price, they are jacking up the price to then tear it down with huge incentive to artificially make one think they are getting a great deal. I would rather have them sell a few less auto's at higher ATP than be the volume leader.
