  1. Mazda just does nothing for me much like the VW and yet I will say I saw a black one that had all the emblems removed and smoked rear and front lights and looked really sharp. I think they are doing this to allow 3rd party companies to offer exterior upgrade kits.
  2. Because they cannot do to full size trucks and SUVs what GM and Ford does? ? ?‍♂️
  3. To be expected and now they confirm what I had always suspected about VW, low profits even though they have Porsche.
  4. So very cool to see them have this in plain site like this. I think a PHEV will be great for auto's like this.
  5. Glad they are doing this, weird, I wonder how many people have mentioned this at the service centers or complained about it before it was finally addressed? ?
  6. Have to say, I got the 6.2L V8 and like the over all package, shame that you cannot get the warm brown interior with the All Terrain package. Yet came in at $55K, I am gonna have to build up a Denali and compare to see what the differences are. I hate all the chrome crap, but am interested in what is in the Denali loaded package. Weird, just reviewed the print option and they now only show it with the 5.3L V8. This makes no sense to me to not allow the buyer to have the engine of their choice with the packages of their choice.
  7. Sweet looking truck, yet like @Cubical-aka-Moltar said, just a few tweaks and it would be perfect. I have to wonder if the designers were watching Twilight when they decided to put fangs on the Grill. Worthless, they should have just gone straight across. No matter what, the GMC is way better looking than the Chevy version.
  8. Your closed mind would not understand. Kinda like your hatred for all things F150 aluminum bed.
  9. Yawn, guess those that wanna pretend they own a Porsche will blow the money, but pass. If ya want one of these cars, then save up and buy it.
  10. Ugly CUV, be interesting to see what they price it at and what the up take is once they start.
  11. Exterior is nice, I have to say it is their best looking SUV to date, even better looking than the G-Wagon. Dash is 21st Century Awesome. I have to give kudos to MB as I love the tech dash. Home run hit. Seats, I like the looks, but I worry they will be narrow and hard on us bigger guys. Gonna have to check this out when they hit the lot. Over all, great job MB. ?
  12. Totally makes sense as PHEV can give you all that Diesel does plus way cleaner and quieter than diesel.
  13. WOW, Been awhile since I looked at them, then again, I love my SUVs. Yet thank you for posting the pics, that is a pathetic trunk. So ya made me go look and WTF, Mustang has just as crappy a trunk. Looks like GM and Ford joined forces in the crappy trunk area. Clearly Challenger wins here for a trunk opening but also seems to have the same failed trunk design. Why is it so hard to have a proper opening. No wonder people love the CUV / SUV for hauling stuff. These trunks make it very hard to have as a daily driver, I give the win to Challenger for space access. Cool to hear, what all did you like about the interior of the Camaro over the Ford? So the interior is that much better than the Ford? I agree, like the Honda Mess, I think GM needs to roll out a MCE on the Camaro to fix the exterior style issues. Trunk issue, Window issues, etc. will have to be fixed in an all new model.
  14. I so totally agree with this story and the thoughts of Kelley Blue Book's executive publisher. I think Camaro does need to be in the bottom entry level segment, but I still do not think they have gone far enough in fixing the image issues and value.
  15. But, But. But the Germans say that is the Holy Grail of ultimate motors. After all the best luxury auto company in the world Mercedes-Benz tells me so that I am nothing without a inline 6 or better yet a turbo inline 6 motors! Wait didn't the US do the whole inline 4,6,8,12,16 thing already? ? ?‍♂️
  16. You just wanted the new old auto theft protection. Manuals are as out of date and stuck in the past as is manual windows, manual doors, manual AC, Manual Radios, etc. etc. etc.
  17. Right now I would keep it private as there is future turmoil in the works for the global stock market. We are heading into a recession.
  18. Welcome Vinfast to the global glut of auto companies. May you survive a very turbulent future.
  19. But leather door covered handles and mirrors? Seems like a maintenance nightmare. But then the wife says I have no fashion sense, so I leave the cloths shopping to hear and why I have three piles, one of shorts, one of jeans and one of polo shirts. Just grab a shirt and either a short or jean and I am good to go looking good for her.
  20. This makes sense and I can see them using their sister company electric power train that we will see in the Porsche.
  21. My only issue with the German auto's is the over bloated way better than anything attitude people seem to have about especially MB and BMW. From the maintenance cost to the 30 year old design, not much has changed to give them the rep some think they have or deserve. I give kudo's as I think MB with with the EQC has a home run hit there. Right now I really like it and the Jag EV. Not sure which one I like better.
  22. I truly do not get the fashion thing on an auto. What a waste of time and material. ?‍♂️
  23. Finally someone built a bug with a real motor. 572 V8 621 HP with 645 lb-ft of Torque! That is a proper bug! Full Story here, very cool read! https://www.theblock.com/article/2018/august/SmallCarBigBlock.html?evar36=MRM_eml_CPfuel_eNews_Sept_adhoc_hr_0918_15457081876
  24. On PTO this coming week. Gonna get the auto's ready for fall / winter. Wash / Detail / Wax / New Wipers. Then that is done. Doing some honey-do list stuff too. Off to do the yard work. Ciao
