  1. For me, I love road trips so when I bought my first 1994 GMC Suburban SLE, I got it with the extra capacity fuel tank so I knew I could easily drive 500 miles non-stop. But that is based on my desire and needs. I think you are the rare person like me that would think of an extra capacity tank for fewer fuel ups. Battery is the same way, if you never take a road trip and can easily plug in overnight, then does a person need more than 150-200 miles of battery range. One can plug in everywhere be it slow or fast depending on what is available. Yet for those like myself that do like road trips, I see no reason to not buy the biggest battery pack out there for my use. For most people dropping a few bucks to top off their EV should be a normal approach to life where you can just plug in and grab some juice anywhere. That is the positive benefit of EVs is being able to drive to work, know you have some errands and as such, plug in and top off the battery while at work. Sure cannot do that with ICE but you can with electric as long as you can access a 110 plug or designated 220 or 440 charge ports in the parking area.
  2. As you know my friend, shitty 1 and 0 in, shitty output. Bitch to the coder!
  3. I will totally agree that all the various Marketing names is a confusing Shit Storm of WTF for the average driver. Now the Average driver seems to have gotten dumber and dumber as we have individuals in the various state and federal gov that thinks driving is more of a right than the reality that it is a privilege earned. As such we have a growing group of DMF's that should not even be driving and this has led to the following nanny devices being forced on everyone. Reality, Let me have the CHOICE to disable this stuff as the computer CANNOT act as fast as the brain in reading all the various issues on the road. There could be a very valid reason for me to drift out of a lane of traffic. I DO NOT want the auto fighting me to put me back in the lane especially if I am avoiding something in the road that the computer does not read properly or understand. Last thing I need is a computer trying to force me to drive over a piece of steel that will damage my auto versus moving out of the lane a bit to avoid it. These nanny devices need to be optional and not forced on us just like seatbelt laws that penalize you for wearing them yet you find non on the mass transit or school buses and the double standard by the police for not wearing them, talking on a cell phone and playing with their computer.
  4. Totally agree that traditional White and Black are such BLAH Colors. If I ever went black, it would have to be some form of heavy metallic black with built up layers of metallic black paint and clear coat to give it depth. Had a white auto twice in my life, never again.
  5. I was thinking it looks just right in the elements for a Trail Boss. Yea could use a Canyon Trail boss next to it.
  6. Like the two tone interior color, but does remind me of a young Hyundai. Wonder about that quality inside and out.
  7. @Drew Dowdell Any connection to VW or Honda? That T600 looks allot like the VW / Honda CUVs. Wonder how much the design will change when launched here in the US. Such a BLAH BLAND look.
  8. Yet in the Asian Rim, White colored auto's is one of the top 3 colors next to Metallic Silver and Black. White is considered pure where as the other two are more associated with wealth.
  9. I agree that every auto company should do this. I also hope that Porsche expands this to all models including the CUV type.
  10. Since your supposed to get sub-zero Artic blast with heavy Snow, how fast do the new heaters / defrost warm up? less than 30 seconds?
  11. Very cool, My dad loves her, I honestly have never seen what people thought was so great about her. Very Cool Pontiac.
  12. Have not tried this on my son's jeep, but any voice control on the system? Just call the auto whatever the app name is and say heated seat?
  13. Thanks for making me laugh. There are some lovely metallic browns out there that I do like, but just plain regular brown is blah. The whole grey / charcoal thing is spot on IMHO. Worse yet is when the owners of these same colored auto's drive as predawn or late dusk and have no lights on so the auto just blends into the low light level scenery and they wonder why they got hit. Had a coworker who has a grey 4runner and got hit early in the morning and was all pissed that the other person did not see him. I asked him if he had his lights on and the answer was no. I said you got what you got because while you think you can see fine, many others out there cannot see you and you should have had your headlights on. Driving with no lights in early morning or late night with the low light condition is not good especially for seniors. All he did was complain about the other person, not willing to take any responsibility for his own lack of action.
  14. Unless your talking Trax to HR-V Still Honda Generic ugly.
  15. Or Nutella on a fresh hot loaf of french bread. Melting OMGoodness! I see your 2018 trax and raise you a generic ugly 2018 CR-V Course these all fall into the same category too.
  16. Interesting discussion from a computer class about if computers are Male or Female! What do you think, which side of the coin do you go with? ComputerGenderDebate.mp4
  17. Love the 007 Movie, watched it just now. Yummy Chocolate with wine, but any Chocolate! http://www.drinksmixer.com/drink2833.html
  18. Let the market sort them out McFly. You sassy little blu, you must be feeling better.
  19. That is the best looking image of that ugly mug! William, does the seat go all the way down to the floor or does it stop and still have considerable gap underneath? If the seat is all the way back for long legs, how much room is between the back of the front seat and the back seat? Can a person site behind the driver? Yes Tall person who has found like the 2007 Escalade over the 2006 I could not sit in with out being seriously reclined due to the seat not going all the way down to the floor for us very tall body people..
  20. Yup, The current CEO seems to think all electric, which I am very excited about especially now that they are looking to electrify the GMC Sierra!
  21. Love this as an alternative to the Rivian R1T and the F150e. Would be great as that is what we want, a crewcab all electric pickup truck.
  22. I can respect that about your seating position. For me, I have to put it flat on the floor due to my size. Yet the wife love to have the seat at the top, looking over the steering wheel and a bit down. Interesting how people like their seat position. Also amazing how many auto's have very limited electric seating position when they have the room for it. Perfect example is the Mazda CX9 I rented for a family vacation 2 years ago. Worst electric seats ever and I was totally cramped in that auto. Worst ride, comfort, etc. would never recommend a CX9 to anyone and yet so many people even here on this forum love them.
  23. I want my K5 Blazer in Deep Forest Metallic Green, with BF Goodrich A/T tires please along with detroit lockers front and rear and a 65 to 1 crawl ratio like the Hummers had. Sales numbers would indicate that while the Taco faithful have stuck to them every other brand suffered and lost sales to the GM Twins.
