  1. Nice interior, exterior is too coupe like for me in a CUV. Be interesting to see final specs and pricing. Hopefully they bring some quality as I have noticed all Audi's seem to have a very bad soot problem at the exhuast. They really seem to blacken things up out of the tailpipe.
  2. I am sure the Koolaid drinking MB faithful will not think twice about the uber luxury EV Minivan from MB.
  3. Heck at the pace we are going it could roll into a every 90 days pushed updates due to a security, browsing or some other functional issue bug. lol Just reboot the auto and all will be ok.
  4. https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/finance/plummeting-confidence-in-broader-us-economy-drives-decline-in-economic-sentiment-index/ar-AAG1vKo?li=BBnb7Kz The various indicators over the last 3 to 9 months are very interesting. Gonna be watching this come December to see where we are at.
  5. Very cool as I see plenty of use for this in inner city deliveries. My only WTF is the placement of the battery recharge port, drivers side corner of bumper. Nissan is in the front of the auto. GM just in front of the drivers door. To me this makes much more logical sense to see it and unplug. For the bulk of people, I see no reason to not use the gas filler spot from ICE auto's.
  6. Plus 1,000,000 we all seem to understand this, I wonder why GM cannot get it? ?
  7. Cheap looking mess of a dash.
  8. This totally makes sense to kill the continental as they bring other alternative power train autos to market.
  9. Supposedly the first year is sold out already for the US. Agree, this should have all been under the Volvo name to begin with. I think this whole New Polestar name is going to backfire on them.
  10. There ya go, I corrected it for you since I understand that with Humidity, fingers and other body parts swell making typing hard.
  11. @Drew Dowdell Hate to make an assumption, these be sold through the existing Volvo dealerships?
  12. Sounds like a decent program, just I am not that big of a Silver fan. Why not any other color I wonder? ?
  13. My 1994 GMC SLE Suburban has no Dropping headliner and much older than that Toyoter!
  14. Gotta love Toyota Quality of this Avalon. Yes clearly.backed into.something but the hanging headliner with dropping ceiling handle just say Quality, nope!
  15. Someone punched it in the nose and now it has a smashed face. South Korean Gov is a tax credit, local provincial govs are giving refunds. Their goal is to flip the country which is the size of Mississippi, Indiana, Minnesota or Portugal or Hungary to being ICE free by 2030 for NEW AUTO Sales with the goal of having all ICE Auto's off the road by 2075. Exceptions are for Class 8 semi trucks / commercial use. I honestly can see them going this way, same for Japan and China.
  16. Seems the Feds are Loosing the EPA MPG battle as Colorado according to this story has become the 10th state to sign onto the California ZEV mandate and will follow CARB for auto efficiency. https://www.teslarati.com/tesla-evs-colorado-joins-ca-zev-program/ At the rate states are joining California, Said state will be calling the MPG shots with Auto companies rather than the feds. Seems Korea has decided that the country needs to change over to EVs faster than fast and as such, the Federal Gov of Korea is giving a $7,400 rebate for EV purchase and the provincial govs are giving another $9,100 incentive and as such, the Tesla 3 is now booking reservations super fast as people plunk down their $1,000 reservation fee to buy a $26,500 tesla 3. https://www.teslarati.com/tesla-model-3-price-under-27k-south-korea/ At this rate, Tesla will be keeping their Gigafactory 3 in China and the US at full production for a while. Japan according to the Tokyo news is also considering incentives for EVs that would also cover outside of the country EVs such as Tesla.
  17. Call it my personal BITCH, but I have to agree with a point that @balthazar has made over and over about style, consistency and sticking with what people have come to know of a brand over multiple generations. With that statement said, I have to say that right now Cadillac is FAILING to build on that luxury consistency. The XT6 clearly looks like a re-badge of the Chevrolet Blazer. The CT5 headlights are not consistent with the CT4 or CT6. I get the feeling that they are rushing to fill in product gaps due to the lack of progress by Johan and instead falling back to the old stupid 80's / early 90's of cheap ass re-badge and these two photos tend to reinforce it for me. Then you have the multitude of stories like this that say this is Cadillac's last chance to become and hold onto the distinction of being a luxury leader. https://www.thedrive.com/news/26086/gm-president-says-cadillac-has-one-chance-at-an-american-comeback Right now the current leader as a long term GM leader is NOT HITTING the Home runs to make Cadillac a comeback Luxury marquee. I really hope that the next Escalade and EV that they bring to market does this as right now the XT /CT mess is a failure to me. ?
  18. My condolences ocnblu, cancer sucks and affects way too many people than it should. Sending positive energy your families way to fight and win against it.
  19. Yup nice looking ride, but way too small for us big guys. Gotta get that special extra slick lube to slide into and out of it!
  20. Every time I get an escalade loaner for taking mine in for service, the first thing I do is turn off the stop/start feature. I honestly would rather not have that disruptive feature rumble through a luxury auto let alone any auto. Not found one yet that is silky smooth and not noticeable.
  21. Picking up the wife at a friends house and this lovely Ford Fairlane 500 in mint condition was parked out front. @balthazar I never have really understood if this was just a node to boating or if there was a real reason for the rear deck on either side of the spare tire. Enlighten me Yoda of all things old!
  22. Both of my Grandfathers who lived into their late 90's always told us grand-kids the following motto: "Learn from History so that you do not repeat the mistakes of the past. Draw INSPIRATION from the past to make a better future by ongoing learning and strive to contribute to bringing a better quality of life to humanity!" Both were Marines who fought in WWII and a few other theaters and always felt the biggest mistake is when we cannot help humanity to have freedom and move forward into the future. Living in the past with stagnate ways of doing things is death to humans. My inspiration is to always find new ways to help others and improve quality of life. Technology has done that and with it many others have drawn inspiration to help people have a better quality of life. Hurrah!!! to the Future! Here is a perfect video showing why we learn from the past, move to the future and help all.
  23. Agree, I hope they can deliver. Interested if they are using the MB urine treatment system in the exhuast or just how they are getting these cleaner emissions. Being a 2.0L size engine also tells me that they must have figured a bigger engine delivered something that smaller size does not even with a turbo.
  24. Very respectable rating, should do well for them. I do wonder if this will be the last Hurrah for Diesel trucks as Electrics start coming to market. After what Ford showed with a 1.25 million ton pull in their AWD electric F150 I would think that Diesel days are limited to the next 20 to 30 years.
