Yes, they will focus on other areas till a perfected hover craft is the new auto and then air speed records are up for grabs. Will be interesting to see what these other areas are going to be.

Yet, one can HOPE that auto companies will realize the need to have an entry level auto to keep youth interested in said auto's.

That is the key piece, FWD, RWD, AWD, does not matter as computers have allowed the auto industry to give a smooth fun drive for most auto's regardless of which wheels propel an auto. This becomes more true when we move to Torque vectoring of an auto where you gain even better driving dynamics.

@Drew Dowdell @riviera74 I would agree in regards to the EV segment, still way too early, but what about the ICE side, do you think we will see any price reductions or if it is will it be forced due to possible recession across the globe as well as do you think we will see any real reduction in trade deficit from the above chart by the auto companies?

Mercedes COMBINED sold a total of 14,517 CUV/SUV autos for June. Mercedes COMBINED sold a total of 14,647 CUV/SUV autos for May. Mercedes COMBINED sold a total of 11,938 CUV/SUV autos for April. Mercedes has a COMBINED total of 41,102 CUV/SUV autos for the Quarter. Cadillac XT5 by itself sold 13,118 for the quarter. Yet if we combine all of Cadillac sales, we get 29,704 for the quarter. Apple to Apple comparison of a sales period does show MB selling more CUV/SUVs than Cadillac, yet MB has 5 models to Cadillac which had 3 up till the month of June when their 4th model came out and sold 74 units. That means that Cadillac still outsold MB when you consider the 29,630 units sold by 3 models. Another way to put this is that MB with 5 models sold on average of 8,220.4 per model where Cadillac sold 9,876.666 units per model. Clearly if we had full sales for 2 more models, that would mean Cadillac for the quarter would have sold 49,383 CUV/SUV for the quarter to MB 41,102. @smk4565 How is Cadillac failing to move less metal than MB with less models?

NOT to be political, but focused on the trade and it's relation to the auto industry. So many of the electrical components come from the Asian rim. As one can see from the chart below, costs have gone up across the board due to the trade war, but no real positive change in that relation and with the increased cost of auto's, we have all stated that auto's are becoming less of an ownership thing for everyone. Companies have started to move manufacturing from China to other 3rd world places in the Asian rim such as Malaysia and one has to wonder if that will really change anything. WHAT DO YOU think will happen with auto costs and as companies move to EVs in replacing ICE, does that mean we truly will see lower costs or are the higher prices here to stay? Totally agree, amazing the various auto's from Asian, European and American that are early morning or evening and in the dark colors with no lights on that you cannot see and I really doubt they can see well but I wonder how many have not cracked their owners manual and ended up turning off the auto lights on / off especially as they do not understand the delayed timer. That on top of the spotty electrical quality.

Took the wife out for breakfast and was behind a brand new Chevrolet Spark, no plate yet, just the paper in the window. They braked and my wife asks me if the lights were supposed to do that. Give Chevy Kudos for a nice looking Subcompact auto, sadly, left brake light came on before right side and cyclops LED lights which then came on like twinkling xmas lights before a steady red light. If that is the way they are building them, no wonder GM cannot build a competitive subcompact. the electrical sucks.

Airlines I refuse to fly on due to horror experiences in the last 5 years: United, American, Spirit, Frontier and Southwest. Mostly due to rude service, poor cleaning and nickle and diming you to death. Alaska is my preferred airline right now, then Delta for Domestic. International, you cannot beat Korean, Asiana, Cathay Pacific, Singapore, Qantas, Nippon, KLM and Lufthansa. Never have had a bad flight with any of them.

I would think you would as a Trailer is the biggest benefit, talk about a single back up, spot on to the hitch, lower it, secure it and away you go. Easiest connection ever with a BU Camera and with the HD ones now, probably even easier.

There are two more seats behind the center seated driver. Robert you can actually see the fold up seat behind the drivers seat.
