  1. @balthazarThe funeral Cadillac, last picture with the picture on top is a very traditional Asian culture thing. There spirit gets a final ride to their resting place by doing this. Kinda weird but old folks and superstition.
  2. I am sure you can find a CPO or a new sitting around in the late winter, early spring.
  3. Congratulations, always a nice feeling of unloading a rental property and then assessing your options.
  4. Maybe hover crafts will change the style designs a bit.
  5. What?????? No EXCITEMENT at 500 plus horse power in Hybrid form? Some people say that is the ultimate power train.
  6. Gonna be noisy with wind and road noise probably too. I have yet to ever see a frameless glass auto that was quiet.
  7. Just not feeling the style or the interior.
  8. Cool, exciting times we be in. Wonder if they will just go up the number line in bringing out a new Recharge each year? ?
  9. Will be interesting to see who reports a side by side comparison, but it is seeming that GM caved in.
  10. Crazy how much Mazda advertising is on this last few weeks and this one Forbes quote is always part of it. Clearly going after a higher perspective, though not sure how high that can be since I consider the two mentioned auto's to be a toyota/Chevrolet like cars.
  11. Some of us do have long torso on top of long legs and arms. After all we grow as tall as the Evergreens here! ?
  12. Nope, first time in 13 months I did not go to the gym and just relaxed, drank wine, ate chocolate, had good food and veg'd. Over all I feel like a million bucks, my joints do not hurt, no stiffness or discomfort since my L1 to L6 are pretty much bone on bone. Strong core, but those mineral hot springs really make the body feel good.
  13. Any reason given as to why the pistons have to be replaced? At least the rings will be tight.
  14. It was AWESOME, check out my Random post about it here: Everyone should take a break and go soak in natural mineral hot springs.
  15. Gotta say that this train ride is beautiful as they state in the story. The Train from Oslo to Bergen: Europe’s Most Beautiful Rail Journey http://flip.it/s2bXZq
  16. Glad car lovers have the option, but right now the death of cars is I believe due to the gentrification of the cars. Coupe everything, blah jelly bean style, just a piss poor focus on building anything of desire in the car segment IMHO. I know some really loved the CLS, but to me MB style of the coupe had never been anything more than Blah style and it seems to have taken the whole car segment down this path of ugly blah uninteresting design. I hope the Coupe thing mostly goes away and we get back to having different style looks of our 4 door sedans.
  17. Wash and deep waxed the SS for the fall / winter season. Costco sells a complete kit from this company for $39.99 that has interior detail liquid, exterior paint cleaner and the everything wax and then a all type of metal polish. Does an amazing job.on older normal paints as well as clearcoats.
  18. Back from a week of PTO at https://www.fairmonthotsprings.com/ Love this place, so relaxing, made a day trip to Banf and Lake Louise in the Banf National Park. One day drive to Fairmont and an hour longer as we had a friend and took the Canadian trans highway back for another day drive. So 4 days of soaking and relaxing, Banf / Lake Louise on Monday due to weather, heavy snow the rest of the week. While the map says a bit over 1400 miles, total miles I drove showing our friend the area was close to 2000 for the week. Have to say the Escalade just purred along and is such a comfy road trip auto.
  19. Cool, while not a car fan, I am happy this is out. Looking forward to what GM and others roll out in the SUV category. Still hoping to get to try and fit in a Rivian.
  20. Somehow I doubt this is going to help Camaro sales with the bunker windows and that ugly face only a mother could love, I honestly doubt they will get many sales.
  21. And your feeling on driving this controversial styled Supera is ............. GMC is so much better looking than the Chevrolet. No wonder Chevy is in 3rd place. ?
  22. I can honestly see this being valid for a pickup truck pulling a trailer at say 10,000 lbs. 0-60 time and then a brake time of 60 to 0 pulling that same trailer. For all other auto's today, the 10ths of a second are now just insignificant since 99.99999% of everyone cannot tell the difference. Would still feel a 35 to 65 time loaded with 4 people averaging 185 lbs per person for a total weight of 740 lbs getting from local road to highway speed would be more important than a 0 to 60.
