  1. ? Seriously? All cab over semi's turn the same, those front wheels and the trailer turns within the wind block walls so from the side you do not see the usual big gap. Very efficient flow of air over this sexy classy truck. I honestly am Surprised Kenworth / Peterbuilt, a Paccar division has not come out with such a sexy truck yet. Clearly Europe lead truck maker MB has not done it. ?
  2. WOW, So who's job is it to monitor and make sure these pipes are getting replaced on time? Clearly someone failed in the GOV to maintain the infrastructure. ?
  3. Yes, they have it as an option, but I question how many sales, European union has stated sales are in clear decline.
  4. Could be triple or quadruple flushes, just depends on how many logs you lay. Flush each one to keep it clean and fresh.
  5. This would be a good fit to consolidate these two companies into one.
  6. That is one hell of a sexy Class 8 Semi truck!
  7. GM lost on this battle and the UAW will hit Ford and FCA equally hard and we will be left with higher auto prices.
  8. Have to say, I am really liking the style direction Kia is going, very refreshing.
  9. Are you sure about Europe on that? I believe due to Diesel Gate VW, BMW and Mercedes-Benz, that Diesel is in a short list of death and will be gone in the next few years too, also my travels have shown the opposite as I rarely except in old auto's see manuals. Everything is auto now and the costs have truly kept the young away from auto's so I do not see Manuals as a Prevalent transmission in their mainstream auto's. Europeans are also starting to get bigger and as such, I think they will be moving to bigger auto's too. Buyers are on the fence awaiting choices and I will bet we will see many buy once a variety of EVs are out. Ignore the future at your own expense.
  10. No one likes stinky lingering fumes, double flush all the way!
  11. Would love them to go back to calling it a Skyline EV that is a true Godzilla of the road.
  12. Long term, Manuals are dead and so will be the automatic transmission as we migrate to electrics. Yes some EVs have 2 step automatic trans, but I believe in time, even those will go away. Humanity is finding alternative things to do and enjoy and with roads so congested, the days of Manual Sport Enthusiasts are numbers sadly. RIP the Manual!
  13. Exterior reminds me of the Blazer, love the interior though!
  14. Continue to close plants, automate with Robotics the building of new cleaner EVs and reduce the UAW to nothing!
  15. Totally Disagree with you, the future is EV. Not for you and those not willing to embrace change, but the future is EV, 100 years from now, ICE will be a niche special permit item to own and mostly in Museums.
  16. Agree, I think Bollinger is too late to the party with too little tech and clearly not enough financing to get it going. Very narrow attraction as a specialist auto that will not be around in 10 years I think. At this point between the traditional OEMs and Tesla / Rivian plus the Chinese, I think the chance for an electric startup here in the US or Europe are over.
  17. I will politely disagree with you on the statement of being lazy. We have beautifully designed auto's that were very efficient in slipping through the air that you have posted of lovely curvy auto's and with today's tech, we can easily reproduce them far better than the by hand metal work that went into them. Constrains to reduce pollution is needed IMHO to improve quality of Life, yes GOV has gone overboard at times, but we clearly have science to prove the detrimental affects of Bunker fuel, diesel and even regular gas emissions. Without the gov regulations, we would still be breathing dangerous leaded un-burnt hydro carbons or worse. Please post the link to the Electric taxi accident, would love to read it. Thank you in advance. I think the noise thing while I get why for the hard of hearing and blind is useless when we can build better cross walks. For me, I can say if I can hear the noise in my auto, I will find a way to disable it.
  18. I actually think we can surpass this in having better looking sedans, trucks and SUV/CUV, we just have to figure out how to be energy efficient while giving style. We have much in history to pull from! It is now the Challenge to Engineers to NOT take the lazy way out of just using a Jelly Bean design to achieve getting an auto built.
  19. @ocnblu I hear plastic surgery is really good now in Korea. You can get a quality face lift there. ?
  20. Which is really weird considering it was built on the same line as the Toyota Matrix by the same bloody employee's.
  21. Do we really want to say the MB A-Class is a Premium vehicle? ?
  22. Winner Winner Chicken Dinner. Like the normal look of the CUV, those that want a fastback will have it in this 3 1/2 door version? Like the look of the cloth seats, dash from what can be seen is nice looking. Best part is it is distinct from the rest of the jelly bean designs. Failures is the small battery pack, fake engine noise and torque gradual approach. I honestly think this will doom this auto. The Torque makes me think they are affraid of motor failure with the instant torque. Why not have it after all their tag line has always been Zoom Zoom.
  23. @Drew Dowdell I understand, was just answering @ccap41 question. I think the performance CUV market has great potential and will drive interest for those that want to snowboard / ski but also will mostly be in town and want a performance version rather than the average CUV. Over all, still think this will sell well to the BMW faithful but I really do not see it stealing market share. Interior is just average and the exterior just blends in. I honestly am not sure what it will take to get auto companies to stand out on their own. They used to clearly have distinct models, but now they all just blur together.
  24. FYI, In 2017 Waste Management added their 100th CNG station open to the public and 6,000th CNG truck then. https://waste-management-world.com/a/100th-cng-fuelling-station-for-waste-management According to their latest sustainability report (http://sustainability.wm.com/index.php), they are 100% west coast converted to CNG on all trucks and support vehicles. CNG stations are open to the public and 1/3 of the natural gas is from reclaimed land fill creation fueling those trucks. Midwest is much closer than the east coast to getting to 100% CNG as a replacement for diesel. Be interesting to see the 2019 report when it gets published at the end of the year. I will agree that it is pretty cool looking for a truck. Choo Choo ?
