  1. Love that Seattle View, Great Park to visit and just relax with someone special while taking in the view!
  2. They went cheap I see as no Caddy Logo. ? Come on GM, these little details matter to the luxury buyer.
  3. Do you mean at the time of sale offer to sell and wrap into the financing a Level 2 charger installed at the customers home? I do not see Ford needing to build and sell a Level 2 charger when there are so many 3rd party companies doing that. I DO SEE Ford needing to offer a resonable priced Level 2 charger installed with the purchase of the Mach E. That would help build customer satisfaction on their first major global EV.
  4. Maybe it is me, but the exterior says Audi to me and the interior dash screams Mercedes-Benz. ?
  5. Agree that while it seems to have worked for the Europeans, Asians and Americans, not a sustainable model and we are already seeing the correction in the cancellation of models by the Germans.
  6. We'll not a fan of the 3 cylinder turbo motor, but like that AWD gets a real 9sp transmission. Should do well in China and will sell a few here as I know some folks that feel the Encore is too small but the Envision is too big. So this tweener should be just right.
  7. @oldshurst442 If GM had not stopped at the FWD appliance the Bolt is but also did an AWD Performance version too, I think it would have resonated more with the public. The lack of interior choices as they went too sparse and the quirky exterior have held the Bolt back. If GM would get an all black interior and add a warm brown interior, I think it would sell better. There is so much more GM could do with the Bolt and has not waiting for version 2.0 and Ford is going to eat their lunch with the Mach e.
  8. Love this write up and this story is not wrong. GM should have done more than the Bolt became. https://jalopnik.com/this-could-have-been-you-gm-1839928376
  9. More cool tech break through on solid state batteries. A story @ocnblu can love. https://jalopnik.com/the-only-way-for-long-term-electric-car-sales-to-work-i-1839928999
  10. Bill.ford is saying the Mach e will be profitable from the start of production. https://electrek.co/2019/11/19/ford-mustang-mach-e-immediately-profitable-says-ford-ceo/amp/#referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com&amp_tf=From %1%24s
  11. Gotta love the pictures and Videos they have on the media site. https://media.ford.com/content/fordmedia/fna/us/en/multimedia/album/2020/mustang-mach-e.html https://media.ford.com/content/fordmedia/fna/us/en/multimedia/album/2019/2019-la-auto-show.html Reservations are made here on a refundable $500 deposit. https://www.ford.com/suvs/mach-e/2021/ Full Media kit and additional info is found here. https://media.ford.com/content/fordmedia/fna/us/en/news/2019/11/17/all-electric-ford-mustang-mach-e.html Gotta say, I am very excited for this to quote the media page. Ford also will offer two special performance versions. The GT is targeting 0-60 mph in under 4 seconds2, making it faster off the line than a Porsche Macan Turbo3. The GT Performance Edition, meanwhile, is targeting a comparable 0-60 mph in the mid-3-second range to a Porsche 911 GTS.3 Both GT configurations are targeting an estimated 342 kW (459 horsepower) and 830 Nm (612 lb.-ft.) of torque.2 In addition to blistering acceleration, Mustang Mach-E will be available with Brembo’s all-new performance Flexira aluminum calipers, which maintain the functionality of a fixed caliper while being designed with the dimensions of a floating caliper. The GT Performance Edition is equipped with a MagneRide® damping system, adaptive suspension technology that lets drivers hug the road while delivering an exciting, comfortable ride. EXCITEMENT Performance gives new meaning to the word ‘electrifying’ Mustang Mach-E delivers three unique drive experiences – Whisper, Engage and Unbridled – each offering finely tuned driving dynamics packaged with a distinct sensory experience. Features include custom-designed vehicle responsiveness such as sportier steering controls, ambient lighting, sounds tuned for an authentic all-electric experience, and dynamic cluster animations that are tied to driving behavior. When the vehicle launches, a new Mach-E 4 all-wheel drive system will be available that can apply torque independently to the front and rear axles to deliver impressive acceleration and improved handling over the rear-wheel drive model. Ford tuned this system to provide excellent traction on the road, rigorously testing the vehicle in wet and snowy terrain to help control for slippery conditions. Mach-E is the first production vehicle to be tuned by the Ford Performance team utilizing Ford’s racing simulator in North Carolina. “Whether you want to really feel its performance capability or are looking for the quiet atmosphere that electric vehicles can offer, the Mach-E harnesses the power of electrification to create a unique driving experience while retaining that unmistakable Mustang feeling of freedom,” said Ted Cannis, Ford enterprise product line director, global electrification.
  12. This is truly Ford, that they have made very clear as the Rivian is full size truck / suv. I would honestly expect this to be a smaller version of what Rivian has done. It could be an updated platform based on the DNA of Rivian. Interesting read: https://www.msn.com/en-us/autos/classic-cars/7-ford-mustangs-that-are-worse-than-the-2021-mustang-mach-e/ss-BBWX9Ll?li=BBnb4R5#image=1 I have to say, I forgot about the station wagon and the FWD Mustang concepts.
  13. Strange but in talking to coworkers who have mustangs, they are not upset at all but excited about additional options of Mustang DNA products. Must be the Mountain Boys you hanging with that are upset.
  14. Crazy month, the kids are busy so taking me out for my 52nd B-day dinner early. Steak, yummmmmm ?
  15. Right now getting some old school tunes on.
  16. Very Cool Postcard from South America of the Rivian Truck fleet testing. https://stories.rivian.com/postcard-from-south-america?mc_cid=adfe91669f&mc_eid=353c4b65f1
  17. Plus get rid of that Damn Plastic wind deflector under the bumper. Looks like your trying to plow the road.
  18. Will be back to see what everyone thinks, my kids are taking me out for dinner. Back in a few hours ya'll!
  19. Loved the Z24 Cavaliers, here is for you!
  20. Are they gonna rebuild it and bring it back to life or just looking to see what the head was like?
  21. @ #darbywinery wine release party in Woodinville Washington. Awesome power wagon with a modern Cummins under the hood.
