  1. Will be interesting to see how we reference electric motors down the road. Will it be size like ICE cubic inches or Liters or will it be Horsepower / Kilowatts of power? ?
  2. You will never disappoint to continuously move the goal line to meet your agenda view to make MB always seem to be the best.
  3. Except for 1 V6 and 1 I4, everything I have ever owned is also been a V8
  4. It has the internet talking, so I would not be surprised that GM leaked this themselves to generate buzz leading up to the official announcement.
  5. Seems they delivered on getting close to their interior concept.
  6. So lets look at the Evolution of the Escalade to today. Then we have this: The picture @Drew Dowdell has of the interior is interesting, have to see better pictures to really decide how I feel about it and the seats, etc.. I agree to agree with @oldshurst442 that clearly we have some blockage on the front, I personally hate this Chevrolet look of the headlights / grill area but we are not seeing the rest. If this is just a larger version of the XT6, Failure for me. Looks like it has the older style set in place running boards. I think GM should make default for all Escalades the hide away side steps. Current Gen Escalade Front end I like much better than this picture that got out.
  7. WOW, that is very cool but with all the horror stories online about people fighting to get their wireless connection to work, I do have to wonder how good this is compared to plugging in the USB-C cable? ? @Drew Dowdell @William Maley Any chance you guys can put in a request for one of these BMW and then test out both Apple and Android phones on them as a comparison to what you get in everyone else's auto?
  8. Grant MB respect for some respectful numbers on the auto since it is nothing more than a cheap ass FWD appliance with some horsepower. External is just Blah Jelly Bean. Internal is Cheap ass looing with those ugly circle plastic vents. Looks like a ricer version meant to go into a Playstation or Xbox game.
  9. WOW ? excited for the power trains, independant suspension, suspension options, etc. Much to like here and I think the Diesel will be a Hit here in the Suburban. Exterior Styling is a FAILURE!, How do they expect to gain market share from #3 place with these hideous looking auto's? ? Guess GM is willing to accept 3rd place behind Ford and RAM over putting a real style into the trucks / SUVs. SAD ? If that spy shot is the True Escalade to come, then Cadillac has lost me as a customer as that is as Blah Ugly as the rest of the CUV lineup. Yes, a long term Cadillac customer that HATES the current styling. GM truly has lost it's MOJO!
  10. Nope not complete, as per YOUR OWN WORD, NO LUXURY can EVER be FWD, LUXURY is RWD only. So MB either has become the whore like everyone else giving into cheap ass FWD appliances or .............
  11. Reminds me of the mess BMW and Mercedes-Benz is here too, so many on the used car lots all within the last couple of years, so much leasing and not much moving.
  12. Interesting, so much smaller than the last Trailblazer, no V8, Priced right to move, but why oh why do I think GM will mess up the packaging again and you will have to get top of the line at about $30,000 to get the few things most people really want. ?
  13. But But But, REAL Luxury Auto's are all RWD, so this cannot be a Luxury auto, but it has a Luxury Badge on the front and back and wheels........... So then this is the second coming? ?
  14. I have very mixed emotions about their product style lineup as well as the reliability. I am seeing plenty around broken down and traded in. Surprising how many are here on the lots. According to auto trader in the greater Seattle area we have 335 new, 515 used in of which all are certified except 35. Crazy to have that heavy of 2 and 3 year old versions.
  15. If ya like background instrumental music, this I just happened on and have to say, great work background music.
  16. I appreciate all things but like @Robert Hall stated, much belongs in the books or museums and I like moving forward into the future. Prefer things to change much faster than they are. As I would love to be in space moving between planets and seeing our Universe.
  17. @Robert Hall We need the Rain / Snow, Washington is moving into Drought conditions while the rest of the country has plenty of rain/snow. Please share. Washington just had the driest November on record since they started keeping records.
  18. Listening to Japanese Jazz while working today.
  19. Hopefully it will come sooner than later as a mid year update. They need that motor in this CUV.
  20. This is an EXCELLENT Video about EVs and why today they fail in regards to Towing, but this is only the start and with battery tech slated to improve, this will be rectified. I like what he has to say, worth watching. 18 min video Very cool clear example of efficiency of EV versus ICE.
  21. Like the looks of this version of the Santa Fe, shame they cannot get a properly powerful engine that has smooth linear delivery of power.
  22. I wish I was more aware of cars as I would have told my Grandma to give me her 71 or 72 2-door Orange Buick Skylark hard top with fake white roof and big block V8. She drove that car like hell on wheels and it was a blast. Would love to have it now.
  23. In a 500 mile circle of where I live, I can only find 3 Tesla 3 for sale and none are under $45K Yet I have 69 Cadillac CT6 available for sale in my 500 mile area. Of which 4 of those lovely CT6 are Blackwing Vs
  24. One would have thought "What If" GM had actually realized they could have one engine development team for all of GM in the 60's or 70's where GM would be today and if the Bankruptcy could have been avoided. Course one could then say, where would Chevrolet be now if GM had not Wasted money on Saturn but invested that money / tech into Chevrolet. Always can say "What if!"
