  3. Those of us that pay attention to history know that a certain fascist in the 1930's used the same type of attack to get the disillusioned to put him in power and we ended up with WWII. Now we have another individual who beams with adulation over Russia, China and especially North Korea leaders and is wanting to be in the same position. Democracy has never been more in danger than now. Our freedoms are at stake and every person needs to get out and vote. Those that can move to another place have options, those with families, kids, grandkids, have less options, but one would hope the sanity of the nation would choose the lesser of the evils and not be swayed by negativity. This country was founded by multi-cultural people and not a single specific group. Our Multi-cultural heritage is what gives us such amazing delights in food, Music, product design in having options. Hold the criminals accountable and let freedom flourish. I will leave it at that for this soap box.
  4. WOW, Blast from the Past!
  5. End result is we should be putting the best skilled person in each position rather than a party that promises and never really delivers. We have so lost the ability of representing the people with honesty and integrity. Society of the whole is far more important than the one. IMHO
  6. Makes me think someone's Frankenstein Art Project for the Airport.
  7. Life is amazing in that regards as two critical points in my life was my college days in Japan for my love of the R33 and R34 Skyline cars and Depech Mode Music for the Masses concert I went to in Japan. Otherwise all my other music connection from College is Jazz, specifically Keiko Matsui - YouTube and toshiki kadomatsu - YouTube For Keiko, the first time I saw her and heard here was her Dream Walk Concert and got her album. Keiko Matsui — Dream Walk (youtube.com) For Toshiki it was his Sea is a Lady Album, My wife walked down the asle to his June Bride music on this Album.
  8. @A Horse With No Name I really have been taken with the New Kia EV family of style.
  9. Seems on Queen Anne Hill here a owner in a CyberTruck was in the drive through and someone shot at him, the heavy duty glass cracked to a million pieces but did stop the bullet from fully penetrating, so maybe a bullet proof truck makes more sense now. ?
  10. If old Trumpy gets back into the White House with his Drill Baby Drill attitude, expect this warming to pick up more.
  11. Wonder how EV Derby Cars will handle the sport? Will it even be around as ICE dies and EV takes over? ?
  12. I could so see folks wanting to buy this truck for the Mad Max in all of us! ?

  15. The U.S. military asked for a new tactical vehicle that could run silent for what the military calls silent drive and watch, technologies to make it very hard to detect. Enter GM Defense LLC that took the Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD ZR2 truck with GM's 2.8L Duramax turbo-diesel engine, add a 12 module battery pack, electric motors front and rear for awd and a total armored exterior allowing GM Defense to meet the requirements of a Silent drive and watch tactical vehicle prototype for the 21st century. 20. I am excited for the Kia EV3 that will be a low $20K ev, mid $20K ev in AWD form. I also find it amazing that what I stated on February 7th about BYD surpassing Tesla could very well come true by the end of the year. BYD is 124,077 EVs away from surpassing Tesla and if you include plug-in hybrids, they have surpassed Tesla. Tesla remains ahead of BYD through the first nine months of 2024. The EV leader has delivered 1,293,656 vehicles so far this year, compared to BYD’s EV sales of 1,169,579. BYD shatters Q3 and September sales records (electrek.co)
