For less techy people I can understand your view point. Like the Cadillac ELR, it was a button on the fob that would pop open the sealed charging port. I would expect that here too but also GM has already stated with their new Nervous system that is more powerful than many super computers, over air updates with complete Phone App control of your auto. I expect you to be able to program based on what GM has already stated the auto to handle all 4 seasons. You can set or choose if you need heat, AC, Heated seats or cooled as well as heated steering wheel, etc. The future is phone apps to customize your EV for the region you live in.

Kia Soul was a Compliance EV and nothing similar with the Kona EV, Kona EV / Niro EV use the same bits and the updated Kia Soul EV that is not coming here also uses the same Kona Bits. Yes, RIP 747, you will be missed. The interesting part is that the Dreamlifter which is a stretch 747 with the second level all the way to the back to fit the Dreamliner plane, 787 fuselage inside will continue to be made to support the production of the 787 that almost meets the cargo capacity of the 747. I honestly think they could build and sell the Dreamlifter plans to cargo companies.

? Ummmm do not get me wrong here, I totally agree with you that Hummers should be AWD with Crazy off road low end rock crawl capabilities, but this is GM we are talking about. I hate to admit it, but I could see the bean counters saying we can sell a 2wd version for the posers who will never take it off road but want a Denali package on it!

Crew Cab trucks with a bed truly make a very usable family auto for hauling around folks, plus being able to throw stuff into the bed that you would normally not want inside an SUV. I know I will once the EVs are out, be getting another truck as the wife really misses not having it when she goes to Home Depot for her gardening stuff.
