  1. I understand that they do not have a head-to-head competitor to Jeep, but would the Z71, Trailboss Z71, ZR2, ZR2 Bison, or how about the AT4 or AT4X for the GMC line. It appears that GM has made all their various Off-Road packages available on all trucks and SUVs in 2022 per looking at their web sites. https://www.chevrolet.com and https://www.gmc.com Have to say these are bad ass looking trucks: Where are the German Trucks to compete with these? ?
  2. If they make it AWD, they will sell all they can make. I can see this as a family Life Style auto for skiing, camping, etc.
  3. Interesting, I saw this story about $1.5 Billion for buying clean electric buses across the nation. So I figure as per some that say the EV buses are about $500,000 each, how many would be bought? 3,000 So then I thought, wonder how many public buses are in the U.S. as I never really thought about it before. Per the following info: School Buses: America's Largest Transit System | Newgeography.com We got a long way to go to replace buses!
  4. Volkswagen (VW) premiered the global ID.Buzz and ID.Buzz cargo in Hamburg today providing yet another solution to sustainable and CO2-free mobility. The ID.Buzz comes with the latest ID. software and sets new standards in its segments with the latest systems and functions for safety, comfort and charging. 6. Nope, wrong, Blazer SS is an on-road performance ride. Z71 Blazer would be the off-road performance version. Bison Blazer is another off-road package version for performance fun. Chevrolet has plenty of competitor packages to go up against Jeep.
  7. Seems like Chevrolet Performance is now hosting Desktop backgrounds of a wide range of autos. Vehicles (theblock.com)
  8. Here is a truck for @balthazar and everyone else that likes a wicked fast built ride. Plenty of pictures and info on this family built ride. The C10 Slayer is Built for Boost (theblock.com) Seems to have all catalog parts for over 1,000 hp right out of the crate with parts bolted on.
  9. Sound of Quiet, another long workday, have it quiet for extra focus.
  10. Seems Titan Fuel Tanks make extra size capacity tanks to replace OEM tanks. I see they have a 56 gallon tank for your truck. That should take care of you. TITAN Fuel Tanks - America's Leading High Capacity Tank Manufacturer
  11. Realized that in the press release they say re-design, but in the flyer I downloaded and posted it says refreshed. LOL, clearly left hand is not talking to the right hand! Will be interesting to see what the Blazer SS EV ends up looking like. Clearly they can show it off soon since for sale spring 2023 means they have to start production this fall I would think.
  12. Hopefully GM understands that they do not need weird style on an EV and just style the ICE/EV the same. Here is the new refreshed Blazer for 2023 model year. 2023 Chevrolet Blazer Infographic.pdf Video and pictures here: Chevrolet Blazer - 2023
  13. Thanks for the update, seems that 3 miles difference than the web site would be the reserve gallons past E maybe?
  14. Chevrolet founded in 1911 in Detroit, one of the world's largest car brands, available in 80 countries with more than 3.2 million cars and trucks sold in 2020 is proud to offer a glimpse of the all-electric Chevrolet Blazer SS. This will be Chevrolets first Chevy EV to feature a performance SS model for the masses. The all-electric Blazer SS will make its debut later this year and will go into production and be available for purchase starting Spring 2023. 16. Honda E was a compliance Electric which he also failed to clarify. That was not a global mass-produced EV.
  17. Let also point out that some states have much cheaper electrical rates than other states so electric makes sense over the current prices of gas. Washington state @ 6 cents per Kilowatt that would allow the Chevy Silverado to do 1200 miles a month @ $28 a month in cost or for 14,400 miles a year @ $336 dollars a year in electric fuel charge here. Diesel here is running @$5 a gallon on average, so even in a Diesel truck at 24 mpg, using GMC Diesel 1500 says it has a 21 gallon tank. So we are looking at a $105 fuel fill up. So that 21 gallon tank would give 504 miles of range, on a 14,400 miles driven equal, that is 28 1/2 tanks of fuel or $2,992.50 per year for fuel costs. Over 10 years if it stays consistent, you have $29,925 Diesel Fuel cost plus the maintenance of that engine. Think I would take the electric over that as that puts the diesel in the same price as Ford's F150 Lighting.
  18. Interesting in the lone teaser about the upcoming GMC EV Truck, seems there is a connection to be tied into the GMC-E truck and the ICE Truck.
  19. Except the high gas mileage in a turbo charge performance sedan is not true. The whole Turbos on small engines give you V8 power with 4 banger gas efficiency is a lie.
  20. This is still the ugliest nose job Chevrolet has done on a truck to me. The only thing that surpasses this for Ugly is the Butt Ugly HD versions.
  21. Needed a break as I worked till midnight last night on tradeshow stuff for our Dell Technology World stuff May 2nd to 5th 2022 in Vegas, so went up skiing this morning. Topped off the Escalade at Costco, regular gas $4.249 per gallon, 18.477 gallons for a $78.51 bill and that was only filling up from 1/3rd tank to full. SS uses Premium, which is now @ Costco $4.66 per gallon, 20 gallons went in last night so $93.20. Yup, wish electrics that fit me were out as I would happily ditch ICE for EV at 6 cents per kilowatt charging at home. Would save me big time.
  22. Very Cool that Kia has updated their roadmap to have 14 BEVs out by 2027 and two of them will be pickups. Kia Global Media Center : Kia presents 2030 roadmap to become global sustainable mobility leader (kianewscenter.com) Very cool if true, from pre-production and mule building to actual production on the Cadillac LYRIQ. 2023 Cadillac Lyriq Enters Regular Production On March 21: Report (motor1.com)
  23. Very cool read as people research and look into the electric auto past. Detroit Electric Model 82 Brougham: Examining a 102-Year-Old, American-Built EV - autoevolution
  24. Yea I guess once Drew gives you detention it stays for life as I have a couple.
  25. Yes, there will always be overlap, but I do believe you could have two luxury divisions that have clearly different style and marketing messages and they would both succeed.
