  1. So Funny the New King has Risen and only to realize that they do not have flexibility.
  2. Such Ugly Ass Auto and of course the auto mags will say Toyota is a god send maker as no one else can do it better. Everyone of these small Coffins on wheels I have been in are so over rated. GM Please get the Volt out NOW!!!
  3. One of our Executives has one of these auto's. I was not impressed. Lot's of money for a name. The look is just OK. I will take a caddy over this car.
  4. Yes Weird that it is in the Cadillac Forum, But who cares? I CARE!!! This is HOT!!! I love the H3 and am very excited for this, It will replace my Son's Dakota as my Daughter got the H3 to replace her Durango. Once the Dakota is gone then I am an All GM Family again.!!! This Vehicle will Rock and help pick up the Hummer Sales.
  5. No Matter what, this Car will be a hit. Especially for those of us that buy only American. I want my money and profits kept here to drive the growth of this countries business. Over all I have no problems with the pricing. My only issue is the performance package. It should have included the performance brakes, not having them as a extra option. My beef with GM is that they seem to option way to much and not give full packages as the options. I always felt that the Toyota Matrix was better packaged with it's options choices being complete sets of packages at lower price points than the small packages and option everything by itself as the way Pontiac went with it's version. Sad, but if someone does the math, you got more matrix for less money than a pontiac. Even though the auto's came off the same assembly line. The CTS is an awesome auto, but I fear GM still has not learned to properly build option packages. They can lower prices by including better option packages. yes I know not everyone will want what specific packages might have, but for the most part, when the pricing is lower, people will not care about 1 or 2 things extra on their auto. The fuller packages also keep the resale value higher than a non-optioned auto. Over all this auto rocks.
  6. Sorry all, while the triplets were cute and in Europe and other coutnries where they have tiny small roads, fine if they have the bulk of auto's that are small then you can get away with pop can sub-subcompact auto's. Here in the US, keep them out. They are a Coffin on Wheels. There is a company here in Kirkland Washington that imports in the SmartCar in both gas and diesel versions. I have seen a few of them crushed by the SUV and full size trucks around here and the cars totally implode. I know I will not be popular, but Driving is not a Right. It is a privilage that is earned. Mass transit is for those that work in the cities and those that can not afford yet to buy, maintain and drive an auto. This goea along with my own feeling that Washington State needs to dump the 64 versions of languages that one can take the driving test in. Sorry but I do not like my tax dollars spent on an interprutter to allow someone to get a driving license. After all, if they can not read English, how can they be expected to drive around following the laws, speed limits and directional signs. Again, Driving is a privilage and I am more than happy to let everyone come to our great country, just remember, English is the language of this place, so if you are going to live here, then learn to read and write, then you can try to get a driving license. Sub Compact auto's, not a safe alternative in my book. I will stay with my Suburban. Yes, I am 6'6" tall and 280lbs, so anything below a full size vehicle I am not comfy in or would I bother trying to drive. Cute concept practice for other markets.
  7. COOL I will take a V version Please
  8. I think if GM can build a variety of sized Diesels that are quite like the Duramax, does not have the dark emission output, then the public in the US would endorse these engines. Course, once Honda and Toyota bring their diesels to market, then everyone including the stupid Consumer Reports will say diesel is the god send saving engine and the american Auto makers still do not listen to what the public wants. Wish we could dump that drug laced CoolAid so many people seem to be drinking. Diesel Rocks!
  9. Interesting approach to an aftermarket add on. I think GM will do a better job on the V version of the Escalade than this company did and the scissor doors have got to go. Love the Husky Purple paint job. GO DAWGS! Yea I am from Seattle. Otherwise as long as the couple loves it, then good for them. Nice custom job.
  10. This is a Sweet ride, I actually think if they brought it here it would sell very well.
  11. I for one do not like having to pay the prices at a dealership for maintenance and repairs, yet as I have gotten older and my career has taken off, my time is also worth money. I love that I can drop off any of my cadillacs for an oil change and any other server I need, get a loaner and come back later in the day and pick it up. Service and competitve prices here in Seattle make this worth it to me. I have no time now to do the basic maintenance. Just make sure it is done right and with a professional service staff and all is good. ROCK ON GM Let's just hope that GM dealers do not get the FORD used car attitude that could hurt the customer experiance.
  12. I agree, the last good and cool Monte was the 1986 or 1987 Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe. Legend: RPO=option code; WB=wheelbase; CW=curbwieght; BP=base price; PR=production run 1986: Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe V8 RPO: Z37/Z65 WB: 108.0 CW: 3,440 BP: $14,191 PR: 200 1987: Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe V8 RPO: Z37/Z16 WB: 108.0 CW: 3,526 BP: $14,838 PR: 6,052 Either model was standard with the 305cid H.O. standard w/SS models TYPE: V8 BxS: 3.74x3.48 BHP: 180 That body Style I just loved. 13. I love my current CTS, SRX and Escalade ESV that I own. My wife is excited to trade in her CTS for the new one as ours is an 05. I can tell everyone, the SRX with the new interior is top notch. This new CTS will just continue to raise the bar and allow Cadillac to grow and eventually be the world class leader that all auto's are compared by. ROCK ON CADILLAC.
  14. So I finally get my Suburban with a Diesel again Duramax BABY!!!! Wonder what the gas milage will be, they say 25% better, but I know my brother inlaw who has a 1 ton crewcab took hit family over to eastern washingto to visit relative and averaged 22 miles per gallon, so that would mean this engine would be around 28-29 miles per gallon. That would be Sweet!
  15. Please, let plymouth stay dead. There is already to many name plates out in the sales world. Let them focus on making a very profitable Chrsyler, Dodge and Jeep. That is in their best interest. I also agree with everyone that the Pentastar needs to stay as a corp logo and leave the divisional logo's alone.
  16. I thought I saw just recently a tv spot on a builder that was finishing up proto type Lithium Ion batteries that would get 300 to 500 miles depending on the auto they were used in. ANyone else remember seeing a show on battery progress for auto's?
  17. Can I PLEASE ORDER UP A Escalade Hybrid! I could go for a Diesel with Lithium Ion battery packs that gets me 30+ miles in the city riding in Style.
  18. Is it just me or does the front Clip remind anyone else of a Chrysler Car? To me it brings to mind the Sebring. Weird, the more things change the more they stay the same.
  19. I am all for this add program. Just one MAJOR ISSUE to address. EDUCATION, EDUCATION, EDUCATION!!! The worst thing is visiting a dealership and the sales person trys the used Ford auto approach of BSing their way to a sale. Today more and more people especially woman do their research and it is really tacky when you go onto the lot and the sales person is an ignorant moron. Perfect example, I visited my local GMC lot and looked at the new Denali 07 version and the sales person is talking about how great the 6.0 liter v8 is and the adaptive head lights, etc. He had no actual real answer for the new 07 Denali, yet appears he had been reading on other vehicles. The Kirkland Washington GMC, Buick and Pontiac dealership is owned by the moron group. The same owner also purchased the Kirkland Ford, Toyota, Chrysler and Jeep dealerships. Some big auto group out of the midwest. Their sales people suck. Yet even my trip to the local Chevy dealer did not fair much better. Kirkland Cheverolet, Family owned for ever. Have bought 4 vehicles there and yet still even while they do a better job than most, they still have some pretty stupid morons that try to sell BS rather than doing a little reading and sell a superior auto. Loved the sales persons respons to what is the biggest engine I could get in the Avalanche. 6.2 V8 with 6 spd tranny. Auto or manual available. We'll i am all for competition and a side by side comparison will show that the Cumry is just not that hot. Rock on, heart beat of America!
  20. I thought summer was when the 2008 CTS was supposed to be available at the dealerships? If they are only then starting production, that would mean late fall or early winter availability at the dealership so a 2008 truly coming out in 2008? Crazy, it should be in production now.
  21. Very nice looking SUV, But can we get a DELETE CHROME OPTION? I want mine all monochromatic.
  22. GREAT, More sh#t to Break. Sorry guys, but these are BAD BAD BAD, Just like the parallel parking option on the Lexus LS460. While I understand the desire for people to become dummer and not have to think. Letting a machine do the thinking for you and not being responsible for your own driving, I do not see this saving people from accidents. I actually see more as people will tend to stop thinking about how to drive, how to check their blind spots, the head check , dual mirror check, etc. I am all for safety, yet we need to force people to be alert and this does not help this, it just says, ignore watching what you are doing and being aware of what is going on around you. The last thing I would want is a vehicle that locks me out of making a lane change as it feels it knows best for you and the same with parallel parking. THis is part of being a responsible driver, if you can not take the time to learn how to drive, then take the bus. No matter how sucky the US mass transit system is, if you are not going to learn and be responsible, then we do not need you on the road driving. One who loves new auto's and technology, but feels that some technology takes away our human drive to be alert and aware of our surroundings. Plus please do not forget about accountability. My thoughts on this technology. Hopefully it will come with an override switch to disable it.
  23. So why can GM not seem to realize they lost that all important flat floor in the new Suburban / Yukon XL? Ford even has this all flat in the Expedition XL. It is one reason I still have my 94 GMC Suburban. i can pull the 3rd seat and lay down the 2nd row and get a butt load of sheet rock or any other big items inside where it is protected. Better yet, my wife and I can have an icechest and our cloths and sleep in the back when we go on weekend camping trips. No need to actually pitch a tent, just bring the lantern, stove, ice chest with food and ourcloths and boom, an awesome camping rig. Boxy yes, differant, hell yes, will it sell? YES, differentiation is what will bring people to this product. For me, I will stay with my GM and Hope that GM will change the 3rd row of seats to fold into the floor and the second row to fold down flat with the back of the vehicle. Then all I feel GM needs to do is offer mini stage coach doors and a large flip up glass like the Excursion had and I will finally get my Full size SUV the way I want.
  24. nice job on the black out. While the orginal is very nice indeed, I actually do like the c pillar blacked out.
