  1. We'll some will agree with me and other will hate me, but this product does have a place here. As stated for those with poor credit, it can change their behavior and get them to be more responsible in making their payments. Some people need this type of leash to change and become better citizens, responsibility is not always common sense to people and to protect the products they sell and the value in the product, this helps the companies. Now for those of us that are responsible and have credit, this should not be used on the auto's and if it is on a auto, then it should be removed if the vehicle is fully paid for. Lucky for me and many of my fellow C&G members we probably have enough skill to remove these bastard items and have our car the way we want it. Live Free and Die hard driving all the way to hell is my Moto!
  2. Yea along with their bankrupt state income tax and moron free hand outs to the illegals. The state will truly self destruct in time.
  3. This is as stupid as it comes, What about all the accidents that will be caused by the reflective windows???? Great we want to keep the heat out of the car so everyone gets their windows tinted with a reflective polarizing treatment and now you are blinded driving down the road by everyones windows. What a bunch of Idiots. Keep your f@#king hands off my choice of colors and window tints.
  4. Yea GMC Man is an Idiot, He has no Idea what Cadillac is about let alone the premium auto segment. Probably one of these blinded by the lights, love Asian only morons covering up his embarrasment of driving a Coffin on wheels fit in with everyone gutless wonder as gmc man.
  5. GM is probably saving money by not shipping in the 09 versions.
  6. Linky is not working, can someone repost the video so I can see it. Sounds like a interesting view. Thanks in advance.
  7. Sorry but was that supposed to be funny? To me it was not, But to the Birthday boy, Happy B Day Again.
  8. My garden is all ready for planting once the weather warms up here in Seattle. Let the corps rot for those that think they can control me! Personally I have my wine cellar stocked and with fresh veggies and beef on the barby I am all ready for a relaxing spring and summer. For now, I will enjoy my spring skiing, snowing hard in the mountains here, Let it Snow, Let is Snow, Let is Snow!!! At the end of the day another bottle of wine to open and drink.
  9. Congrates, welcome to the Drinking club!
  10. I see Hyperv6 says 100,000 units sold, Where? Here in Seattle, I have gone by the Kirkland, Bothell, Everett, lynnwood chevy dealerships and they all have ton's of HHR sitting on the lots but talking to the sales people they have been sitting, most of these are last year models and no new versions are being taken. No one is buying the HHR here in the Northwest. This must be a vehicle that is selling in select areas. Personally the HHR says I am old and from the past, the Orlando at least say's modern and I could even see this as an AWD version for wet and snowy weather. I have no other info on this as this is the first time I have seen the Orlando and I like what I see just like I liked the HHR when it came out also but also acknowledge that the HHR was for people who Wanted to relive the past style. IMO, If the HHR is profitable and truly selling 6 figure units, then keep it going, but consider what the fall off has been for the last couple years. If the HHR has reduced 30-40K units year over year then this vehicle has already lost it's shine and is probably only selling with incentives that rob the profit from the vehicle. At that point then it needs to be massivly updated or replaced. Does anyone have the last 3 years of selling for the HHR to validate if it is really holding onto market share or is it dying off as I suspect it is? Humans are fical and like change, keeping a model around just to resist change is like Ex Prez Bush and his Stay the Course attitude that did not serve this country well. If someone has the sales numbers, please post them to justify keeping the HHR or show that it is time to replace it with this Orlando. ciao,
  11. Love the style, interior and exterior of the Camero and Challenger, but the Mustang is just Blah, nothing special. So far every Mustang I have looked at have not impressed me, especially all the rusty parts. I was at a dealership, Totem Lake Ford of Kirkland, WA and they had a Green Bullit on the show room floor along with a Saleen and a GTO and what I noticed was all three had rusty brake systems, looking under the hood, there was rusty parts on the engines. The tail pipes on one of them was rusty and I could go on and on about the poor quality. The sales person came up to me and asked me if I would like to test drive the only Real American Muscle car left in America that was the best in Quality that no Asian or European builder could match. We'll I could not disappoint the man, so I pointed out while others were looking at the cars also all the flaws I could see, less I say I never did get to test drive it, but was not really wanting to anyway. For those that would say why were you there? I was there doing a good dead for my 78 year old neighbor who wanted his oil changed on his expedition he owns. So I drove it down and got it done and while I was waiting took a look in the showroom and came away very dissappointed in Ford. Those that think their cars are getting better need to take off the sun shades as it was pathetic to see the exact cheap ass plastic vents in the escort, taurus, mustang, trucks, etc. It seems that every model uses the same vents, same radios, etc. People Bitch about GM doing cloning and yet you get the same plastic garbage in the econo box vehicle as you do in their top of the line 65K Ranch Ford Pickup truck or Expedition XL SUV. Why should a high 5 figure vehicle have the same cheap ass plastic dash components as a 15K car? In my book Ford is NOT getting it done with their cars, crossovers, SUV and trucks.
  12. DELL ROCK, I have 4 desktops and a couple laptops. Yes you will hear horror stories but for the most part, DELL has been as solid as a rock. I would go with a SSD harddrive for at least the boot drive. They make your system fly. Good luck on the build or buying, I personally would buy from DELL again over building one and dealing with each part vendor independantly if something goes wrong.
  13. SWEET, I will think Positive VIBES that someone in GM will wake up to this and realize where money making potential is. Surely not in the ugly Vibe.
  14. I would agree with Captian on this, great options. Captain, what did you think of that SSD Computer Demo?
  15. We'll I do not know how big you are if in tall or wide, but as a Tall person, 6'6" and 275 so a bit of width, I have always and always will enjoy my SUV's and trucks. Now with that said, you mentioned a fun bang for your buck that is NOT a Truck. New Trailblazer AWD SS. Trust me that vehicle totally rocks. Get it black, and have the polished wheels black chromed and make sure to Limo Black out the rear windows and 50% tint on the driver and passenger side front doors and you have a wicked fast ride. Course then you can go back later and add a supercharger or many other performance parts that only make it better. Course you could also go for: Denali SUV Luxury on the cheap but strong V8 for fun which can be kick ass if you add a magna charger to it. Buick Enclave can be allot of fun, add on of the turbo chargers to it to spool up and smoke. Dodge Durango RT, they are very cheap and rock with the Hemi. Jeep GC SRT8 Think mid size CUV / SUV or full size SUV and go for the custom fun factor. Personally I think you cannot get a better package than the Trail Blazer AWD SS!
  16. Personally, we will see GM go down in one form or another here in the US, but over all a much differant GM will emerge by the end of this year. Wether or not they take advantage of being able to do real change or not will be the thing to see. IMO I think we will either see a GM that comes back much stronger and changed to survive and grow or a baster version that will limp along and die along with many other American dreams and will only be talked about in the history books as a lesson to learn of what to do and not to do in Business.
  17. :rotflmao: Too funny that we covered this not long ago. But Times change and for that I will say that I still Feel DELL OUTLET Store is the best place to get a screaming deal on a solid desktop or laptop. Dell Outlet Store Link to Refurbished cheap systems! DELL has great deals on new computers too, but since like all retail and web based stores if they ship a product out and it is the wrong one and returned, even if the box is never opened they have to sell it as Refurbished. The outlet store has some amazing deals on computers and monitors, especially the 19 to 30" 16x9 HD type monitors. There is NO REASON for anyone not to be working on a 19, 21 or 24 inch flat panel monitor now. If you are a HOT DOG and like to build systems, then that is a fun experiance to do, If you are really looking for speed, then consider SSD drives. Expensive but worth every dollar. Check out this SamSung sponsered build up that used 24 SSD drives (SSD = Solid State Drive, NO MOVING PARTS, FAST AS LIGHT) 6TB SSD Raid SuperComputer Desktop system This bad boy was built with Dual Quad Core CPU's, Dual Video Cards, High Speed 800MHz Ram and of course the Raid set 6 terabytes of storage. Amazing Fast, I love the stress test of 53 heavy duty applications loaded in 18 sec and O'h by the way did I mention that it runs 2GB of data per second throughput? Watch the Video, very informative, you can pause at the end to get the details of the exact parts they used to build this system. This computer would last you easily 5 years and realisticly get you up to 10 years of use. Under stand that it would be an expensive computer but due to the longer life you get out of it, would pay for itself. Keep in mind that no matter which way you go, build your own or buy from a retailer or webtailer, Memory is a cheap way to have the machine performe best. You can get a slower CPU and have 4 GB of ram and still perform equal to and in some cases better than a person who bought the fastest CPU and only got 1 or 2GB of ram. Same goes for storage, best to get a bigger drive than you think you will need as everyone always ends up using up the space. Good Luck! Always fun getting a new Computer!
  18. Saw PUSH over the weekend and that movie Rocked! Actually sat and watched all 3 High School Musicals. #1 was good, #2 was corny and #3 was passable. Wife loved them as did the daughter so over all I earned BIG Brownie points for watching them with the ladies. Watched Transporter #3 last night, really liked it. Good action flick. Watched Presidio last night also and that movie rocks. I pretty much watch at least one movie each night, a way to wind down for my wife and I after a busy day. Will post what we watched tomorrow. For those who like Shawshank, you should watch the Pelican Brief, that is another awesome movie.
  19. DAMN How can they let them destroy so many nice muscle cars. Over all I enjoyed the first 3 and am very happy the original crew from the first one is back for this 4th installment and it is more focused on American Muscle than just Ricer cars. So damn excited for April 3rd!
  20. My son said even at 3 hours long this movie rocked and that it was very faithful to the book. Going to watch it this weekend. Guess the Big Blue Dong is for the woman viewers!
  21. Nope I think you are wrong, if you go out to autoblog and look at the pic of right behind the car you will see the lights do match this, what is missing is the black trim around the lights as to why they look differant. DF, thanks for the updated post, that is great if it was saved by Mopar Performance. A dying shame if they truly crushed this car.
