  1. I like my new Workstation I have that has Dual 10 Core CPU's with 128GB of ram. This baby totally rocks for crunching code, graphics, etc. Gotta figure out how I can buy one for my home system.
  2. Interesting to see so many people talk highly of Mercedes when their reliability is terrible. Some of the S Class auto's had nice body lines, but over all for the money spent, I see many in the shop, many more not lasting as long as I see the so called poor quality american cars last. While I do agree that GM can learn on how to build an image from Mercedes, we need to continue to follow the path of highest quality / reliability for our auto's and when they do build this Halo, 100K car, they need to make sure it is the standard of the world level.
  3. Sounds like a solid, reliable car that people who do not care for all the bleeding edge technology will love to have for 5 to 10 years. I expect these cars will last a long time. Nice way to close out this old model line.
  4. I personally think we need to drop Denali from the Terrain line and go with a Black Ice Edition. Use a Dual Turbo charged DI 3.6 V6 along with a Black Chrome grill, Black Chrome 19" rims and all other trim on both outside and inside is Black Chrome. This should be a limited edition top of the line performance model, say 5000 a year is all. Also have the windows all Limo black out and the front drivers door and passenger door 25% tint. This would be a very cool look and could be a Halo version of the Terrain model.
  5. While I love the HP, I think it is crazy to have these powerful engines with wimpy torque. This is just wrong in my opinion.
  6. While I do not agree with limiting a section, I can understand the reasoning, but since posting did drop off, is it possible that winter sports, bills, job hunting etc could be somewhat for the drop off. People might have stepped away to take a breather also. Seems all sites go through a drop in user activity and then people come back to it. I think this is a temporary thing.
  7. I wonder how many Accounting games they played to turn this profit? While I think they have gotten product going in the right direction, I do wonder if this is really a true profit or a smoke screen game played with the buckets.
  8. Coinage

  10. I remember seeing that growing up and it always gave me a good laugh, thanks for the stroll down memory lane.
  11. Let the Heritage names lay in the history books, time to come up with new inspirational names. When you look at the front, it clearly screams bird of prey, so to that end, I name this for the NA market! Buick Raptor!
  12. Crying
  13. SAAB is a DEAD Company and does not know it. This time next year, I would be surprised if it still exists. Time for the on going consolidation of the auto industry and for lack luster companies like SAAB to go away. This is as much the world economy as GM's poor mgmt of SAAB to blame, but time to let it go into the sunset and mark it as another historical note. The world economy does not need SAAB.
  14. I take the Cruz over the dorky looking Ion any day. Even though it is under powered. Too bad they do not offer a SS version with the Supercharged or Turbo Charged 4 banger. It would kick everyones butts around town.
  15. Jokes
  16. What is up with the new auto's getting uglier, jellybean in some regards or just boxy and plan lacking in style and individuality. I have never seen so many auto's that will just blend in and do not stand apart on their own. Very Sad
  17. If they keep making ugly Fiat 500, Jeep patriots, etc that kind of styling will since them here. Not interested in either ugly beast.
  18. In all my years being around cars and trucks, I still do not see why we have to sacrifice Torque for HP. There are too many great engines that have both. I do like what I see with the proposed engine info that was posted, but I do not see a 2.5LT happening if they can get the same HP & Torque with a 2.0L since Stupid Europe tax's you on the size of your engine.
  19. ocnblu and BlackViper just crack me up They for sure make one think of where they are comming from. Interesting points to be considered. IMO, I still find this line boring to me and truly way too small. Course they do not have many over 6'6" or taller so I doubt they ever think about us tall guys.
  20. Question, We care about the piston speed why???? As long as I have the Torque and HP that I need to move my auto quickly and I am the one paying the gas bill, why is the piston speed important to me or anyone else?
  21. Just think, take the Terrain with AWD, black out the windows, Metallic black with Black Chrome rims and add twin turbo's to the DI3.6 engine and have a new Generation of killer awesomeness. The New Typhoon, or better yet a Proper Ubber Halo CUV for the Terrain that would replace the Denali on every model line. Call it the Black Ice Series.
  22. Very striking, I do like it, but would not want to own it.
  23. I have to disagree with you on the brushed aluminum trim. They are terrible, one of the big draw backs on the SRX as they reflect in the front windshield and diminish your view. I have found all auto's with aluminum or chrome trim on the dash to cause terrible reflections. Just overkill on the bling factor. You just need a little in a tastfull way out side, like the rims and grill not much else IMO.
  24. Sounds like it will handle much better and has allot of nice wow cool visual cues, but power still could be a tad bit more and can you get the RT in AWD? I might have missed that, but did not see that you could.
