  1. While I understand the point you are making, you have to realize that people are taxed on the size of their motor, so a 2.8 turbo is cheaper than a 3.0 turbo. Nice mid luxury coupe for Buick.
  2. Time to shed the blood of criminals, Shoot the Politicians. This 62MPG is a total outrageous mark for 2025. The tree huggers need to wake up to the limits of how fast Engineering can make these gains. If they asked to require each Automotive company to have a 62MPG auto by 2025 that would be a more realistic goal. Politicians and Safe Climate Campaign groups and the like WAKE UP, you will hurt this country more than help by having outlandish goals.
  3. Over all, I have yet to find a DOHC V8 that can beat my Pushrod V8 bored from a 350 to a 402. I will stay with the tried and true means of Torque and power to pull my trailers.
  4. Nope do not like it, I hate the old beater look. What a waste of money IMO!
  5. Voted YES also, I see that it is over 3100 positive votes for a New El Camino!
  6. Awesome Pic, thanks for sharing it.
  7. FYI, Here in Seattle the Leaf is all the rage with the hard core Green everything people as it has sold into the rich pretty well. Woodinville WA has a ton on Leaf's being driven, but in truth, even though we do not get the cold snowy winters around town only up in the mountains 30 min away, the bulk of the people say that the car operates best if kept in a garage overnight compared to being left outside in the cold and drizzle that makes up the Greater Seattle Area. At 6'6" tall I tried to fit into the Leaf they had on display for people to check out at Bellevue Mall and I could not fit comfy in the car. No matter what I have done to the chair, I could not sit up straight, hit my head and I hate being reclined in a car to drive it. The Nissan sales rep said the care was designed for the majority of Americans who average 5'8" to 5'10" tall. Clearly not a real care for America. Pass on this POS and stay with my full size SUV!
  8. A light weight Sonoma type truck with a Turbo 4 banger would be cool to have IMO.
  9. I think the Padawa student is in heaven
  10. YES, YES and YES!!! GM cut production to keep prices up, demand manageable and keep from having to do discounts to move units. It would be better at this time in the economy to be a bit on the lean side than on the bloated side.
  11. From the News, weather channel, yes the Ohio, Missouri and Mississippi are all flooding depending on where you are at. Very interesting times we live in. Good luck to your mom.
  12. THANKS, you bring back amazing memories for me. My dad bought a 1976 Series 5 LUV truck that I got and fully restored and then sold it for far more than Dad paid for it in 1986. Paid for some of my college over in Japan. I do wish I had that truck back as it was a killer truck, the Isuzu straight 4 just ran and ran.
  13. WOW, That is allot of water closed roads and road issues due to water. Good Luck!
  14. That would be a very good option to add, too bad they did not do that. Course who is to say someone does not update this again. It could show up if GM is watching our chat.
  15. SWEET! We will look forward to a review of the Ride!!!
  16. I would LOVE to have that purple XLR! V Edition would be even better!
  17. i would agree that quality limited Cadillacs that focus on the Standard of the world will eventually trump both BMW and Mercedes who have quality issues for their over priced driving machines.
  18. Sweet Ride, I would love to add this to my stable of Suburbans, but the wife wants a gas mizer CUV. I keep telling her she would be safer and about the same economy for gas with using it for around town driving. Love the classic lines.
  19. Damn, this is NOT the kind of news we want to hear about GM auto's. The union workers have got to do better than this.
  20. Sweet, I like everyone has questions, but they do seem to be going in the right direction!
  21. Awesome, grew up in one, this baby rocks!
  22. The El Camino is a nice concept, while I love the concept, not sure enough people would without a proper marketing campaign.
  23. Yea but only take a few over a wide area to get things to settle down and become unstable or to become buried.
  24. SWEET!!! Yes May the Force be with you also!
  25. Here ya go Olds, hopefully this will help you. Wikipedia definition of Sand Boils with Pics! Local News Story on Sand Boils and Levee Breach USGS Site on Sand Boils with Pics! I wish all those members living in the midwest the best of luck with the rain, the river and all other forms of Natural Disaster.
