  2. If that is how it started as I had no audio when I watched it then it would explain allot of why so many auto's that I have seen handle 6" plus of snow here in seattle ended up being worthless. Very true of what has already been posted, everyone was driving way too fast.
  3. Wait and see attitude is the proper course to follow right now.
  4. I have never seen so many terrible drivers. That poor Trailblazer SS just got it's nose badly bloodied on the snow plow.
  5. Gotta love the Northern lights when it happens. Seattle is supposed to be clear friday night, hopefully we will see some.

  10. Hello Everyone, So I have pulled the trigger but on a different one. I went to the dealer and drove the white one, it was very nice and I would have been happy. Yet the wife had an appointment we had to run to, so I told the dealer I would be back later. Never made it back to that dealer, but did inform them I would not be buying it. While my wife was at her appointment, I stopped by another chevy dealership, the sales manager had his wifes fully loaded burgundy/maroon 2008 Trailblazer SS. When I say fully loaded, I mean it had everything, leather package, nav, rear entertainment, etc. He had ordered it with every option marked. Nice thing is that it only had 26K miles on it. Better yet, the sales manager threw in the GM recertified 36 months, 36K miles bumper to bumper warranty starting from today. So for $26,000 I now have a new to me 2008 Trailblazer AWD SS. I pick it up on wednesday as due to the age, I wanted them to detail it and go through checking everything including updating the Engine and Transmission computer programming to the latest versions. Very excited to have this in our family stable of AWD auto's. Thank you everyone for your input.
  11. Was this not the James Bond Girl's Car Fatima Blush in Never say Never Again? Yup just watched the movie again and it is her car

  13. Why does this make me think Failure???
  14. Boy just think of the cost of rebuilding it and how long it would take, probably at least 2 if not 3 people working on a tranny the length of the auto
  15. This might just be the best time to re-enter a market when things are down. Should help in lowering costs and a best way to bargain the unions into giving up overloaded benefits.
  16. 94 GMC Suburban approaching 300K and people are shocked at how nice it looks. A vehicle can last forever if taken care of. After all auto's are the worst investment, so they are going to have to really build the right ride for me to bite. Course I am considering a fairly new Trailblazer SS with only 36K miles. That would become my new ride and the Suburban would be used for pulling only the boats in the summer.

  20. Would be cool.. but awkward at tollbooths, parking garage exits, and drive thrus... Speaking of RHD Cadillacs, I saw a RHD UK plated current style CTS sedan in Denver last summer... While we got our first toll bridge to help pay for it, Seattle over all has no toll roads and even the bridge is electronic with no booths to stop at so RHD is not a problem for driving here.
  21. Personally, I would want a GMC over a Chevy version. If they do not make it, then I guess I will hold onto my money. In regards to the comments of a V6 in the full size, They have tried this in the past and except for the few who will buy into this marketing strategy, it does not work in the real world. If you have a need that demands a full size Pickup, then you want the v8 to make sure you have the torque to move loads time after time after time. Not a strong V6 that by 100K miles is shot and ready to be replaced. Smaller is NOT better in a Full size truck. This I base on past experiance.
  22. I totally agree, they need to Get off this Holding onto the old body style, they finall got rid of the ugly pop up headlights and the Stingray concept had clear connection to the Corvette DNA and yet finally gave a HOT modern look. Just look at how many people loved it in Transformers.
  23. Who Cares about the over all sales number, FOCUS on QUALITY Auto's that people will Want to Buy and you will Destroy the Competition.
  24. Stay focused on QUALITY Auto's and ignore the bulk sales numbers and GM will destroy the competition.
