  1. Comedian. Author. Radio talk show host. TV show host on Faux News. You'd have to have been under a rock the last 5 years or so not to have heard of him... he's not been on fox that long... CNN called him employee for a while before fox Yes..was on CNN..been on Fox a couple years now. Thanks all, No I have not been under a rock, but I do not watch TV or listen to public radio. I have my satellite dedicated music channels in my ESV and I work long days as a computer engineer, so I have never heard of this Beck person. Remember Washington State is a small place Plus I would rather be in the mountains skiing as much as possible or on the lake boating and fishing.
  2. Darn, I was going to go to my Chevy dealer to put down a deposit!
  3. They won me back, I have ESV Platinum, CTS, SRX. Could not be happier with the family of auto's I own.
  4. This is Right on the money, there is no reason to build a cheaper version of the corvette. It has a niche market and that is what a Halo car is all about.
  5. Would love to have a fully loaded Black Ice Paint job on a GMC Terrain with AWD and a Dual Turbo Charged V6. I think this would make a killer update to the GMC Typhoon of past!
  6. You could probably do a smaller version and call it a Stingray, but then it would also compete with Camero. I think it is best to modernize the interior and keep the Corvette as Halo image and let the 20-30 year old have the Camero.
  7. not possible as is, at least if it stays the "halo" vehicle the point remains - 20 and 30 year olds cannot afford Corvettes. 30 years old is right in the middle of the child raising years for men. $60,000 buys a lot of diapers and 529 deposits. The Corvette is supposed to be the Halo Car, something people work up to, so the age group is proper for the Corvette. 20-30 something crowd is what the Camero is for, they need to update the interior of the corvette so that it is superior to the camero and is what an established successful man can purchase and show his status off. You DO NOT, SHOULD NOT cheapen the Corvette to a lower level. Camero is the 20-late 30 crowd. Corvette should be polished for the 40 and up crowd.
  8. So who is Glenn Beck, I have started to see bumper stickers here in washington state and never heard of the guy. Is he on TV that I do not watch?
  9. Projects are the GMC Suburban, my 94 baby needs a little attention. Was working in NJ hell for all of last year living out of a hotel and I come home and recharge the battery and start up the baby and notice I have an exhuast leak. Also a musty smell, found that water got into the far back, so need to pull the carpet and figure out where the leak is coming from. Over all it runs great for a 1994 bad ass baby. Gonna just give it a little love.
  10. I thought they said do not do anything strenuous for the first couple weeks. Two days of restful play could strain it. Good luck on a speedy recovery!
  11. Very Nice Guy's, I think you need to come to Washington State and take a beast like that on one of the best drives in the world. The North Cascade Highway! A drivers dream during spring and summer up and over the mountains to the wine country! Cascade Loop Another Link with awesome Photo's at the bottom of the web page.
  12. Sad to see auto's with rust, but all my trips to the east coast, I have always seen even nice high end luxury cars with rust in the rockers. That salt is just a killer on them. Good Luck with the repairs.
  13. Yea, unlike me who is only American auto's, my sisters have bought asian and the oldest always goes with the service lites and after researching I also found out the scam of these idiot lites. My middle sister has since dumped her Honda as it was cheaper to drive an american Tahoe with maintenance than her Honda Odessay Van. Good Luck with the Civic, a bit small for 6 foot or taller adults, but nice eco cars. :smilies-38096:
  14. I could go for a Denali Terrain if it has the Direcet Injection 3.6 like they have in the CTS. That CUV would rock in AWD trim, the DI3.6 engine and Denali bling!
  15. No mater how you feel about them driving or not, I got to hand it to those professional drivers. That was an amazing show with Cadillac's!!! :smilies-38096:
  16. Ultimate V Day Not sure if this made it onto the forum, but I have to say this does make me want to go buy a V series Cadillac. Enjoy :smilies-38096:
  17. I loved the XLR and when I could finally buy one, they killed it. Cadillac needs a halo car like this to compete head to head with Mercedes and BMW. I would take an XLR-V over an SL500 any day.
  18. Over all in reviewing the pictures again, I still love the truck, but it is clear for us big tall guys, 6'6" tall, no one can use those jumper seats behind the normal seats. Still tight on room in my opinion. But interior is way nicer than my dads canyon.
  19. WOW, This is so much nicer than the existing truck it replaces. Nice small size truck for the market. Should sell very well.
  20. The car is Awesome, the Caddy dealership by me has 3 in stock, a traditional black, a Ice Black or Metalic Black and the red. They are all listed at 75 to 80K, so if this one is only 70K, then it must have no options. Regardless of price, the auto is freakin amazing. :smilies-38096:
  21. Not really sure why people like this car. I find it just bland though better than last generation. Guess the BMW butt on the car has grown on me. Over all I find it on the ugly side. Plus everything is so low to the ground. Another reason I will not give up my SUV. Not Thrilled yet with the malibu.
  22. Dealership less than 5 miles from my house has a sweet looking white Typhoon. Wish GM would bring back a nice two door AWD Performance SUV like that. They mgr at the local Dan Fast Muffler just picked himself up a Black GMC Syclone. Very sweet also.
