  1. New Edge or Explorer, not sure from my 6th floor window, but can tell it is new with that temp license on the rear window. Boy are they just generic looking. nothing to write home about.
  2. Ugly car with a who cares drive line. If they really want to make people stand up and go wow an drool as they sign over money, they should have done more.
  3. Maserati has never really impressed me as a car, the Quattroporte was cool but never really made me want to say buy it. To me this is a company that could go away into the history books and not really be missed. Or am I missing something bigger that this car division has to offer the world?
  4. I have to finish that article about how irrelevant horsepower ratings are anymore Say it is not true, Horsepower and Torque are always relevant.
  5. Very Cool, wish they did a Corvair with a LP power system. Like CNG, I think the market has missed how good and clean auto's running on LP can be in addition to getting us off oil.
  6. Not sure on the year, but at the Lynnwood washington park and ride lot this morning was Volvo XC90 that had a silver paint job, but the nose, lower 1/3 of all side panels and from bummer down on the back wa all Linux Sprayed. Talk about making sure you do not rust or scratch. Was interesting at the same time as being a bit weird. Be glad you have not seen it, it is enough to make you want to
  7. But didn't ya know, the new GS has interesting new technology, such as blind spot monitoring, as featured on the 2007 Buick Lucerne, heads up display as on the 1992 Pontiac Bonneville, 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, and night vision as featured first on the 2000 Cadillac Deville and later on the 2002 Lexus LX. Want to know how I know? The Lexus commercial that keeps running over and over touting all of the new technology that the new GS has and how much more technologically advanced the car is because of these things. sorry for the rant, but that commercial gets on my nerves so much that I'm 'bout ready to write an article blasting them for it and then tweet the hell out of it so maybe they will pull it. I agree you should write it and tweet it, I have gotten to the point of pressing the mute button each time that bloody commercial starts.
  8. The thumbscrews are starting to turn on the unions to get a reduction in cost.
  9. The fact that every auto maker goes through good quality and bad quality, if you have the money, then you will end up following the quality. I think this is more common with those in the earnings of $150,000 to $1,000,000 crowd.
  10. Cheers for the amazing old car! Cheers for the bottle top opener grill Cheers for even attempting to try and get that 40 MPG Over all what is NOT to LIKE about this beauty.
  11. Another home run in my book, that was drop dead beautiful also.
  12. Boy talk about a badly badged Toyota, this is still ugly and the interior does not win any awards. Yet they will sell a bunch of them to idiot americans who think Lexus is better than anything else out there. Not impressed with this refresh.
  13. AWESOME REVIEW!!!!! I have to say that while I know this car is old and I hate the float ride, I do miss the LARGE amount of room inside. My pet peev with todays cars is the damn floor mounted shifters and plastic crap eating up my leg room. Put the shifter back on the steering column where it belongs if it is NOT a Performance Auto. This car shows just how roomy and comfy it is and when you are 6'6" tall 275lbs, leg room is a requirement. One reason I have not bothered to trade in my 2006 Escalade ESV for a new one is they have less interior room in the New GMT900 platform Escalades. Oldsmoboi my hate off to you for a fun, enjoyable review. Nice job on this piece of automotive history. I think you hit everything pretty dead on including that Ford could have continued to make a solid earning of this platform by just spending a little bit of time to updating the car. One thing I had forgotten about what just how much room there was under the hood to work on these cars, you could fit a v12 in that engine bay. When was the last time you saw the ground due to space between the front of the engine and the radiator? Thank you for doing this,
  14. Home run HIT!!! Way to go GM, this is what we need as CNG is an awesome option to have on a truck.
  15. Good for Dodge, These worker trucks / entry level truck for someone that does not want anything fancy have a ton of value.
  16. Thanks, sweet links for building an auto.
  17. Can of Tuna!!
  18. There are plenty of things to like about this ride and a few things to hate.
  19. Marv the Martian
  20. wow, says fully restored, I have to ask why??????? I just cannot see this being something that survives other than in history books.
  21. Guess I am the only one that see's the love and beauty in this SUV Baby. It is not as bad as you all make out and trust me, there are people out there that will want this special SUV Child due to it setting them apart from everyone else.
  22. wow that is cool, but not my cup of tea. I think they will find it hard to sell.
  23. I wonder how many other 8 door wonders were produced but never really brought to the attention of the public. I cannot imagen that only a few vehicles were built like this. It is a nice job of cutting the car in two and stretching it for that time period. I wonder what that tiangle thing is on the interior roof???
  24. Love it, bring it on baby!!! IS that Farrari I see disappearing in my rear view mirror?
