  1. Love IT!!! About time they dumped these poser bodies and raced a body that is truly close to the real thing that the public can buy. Me likey this news
  2. Cut car for little people. Pass as I can never fit in this or anything Mini makes. I think their max height is like 6' so us 6'6" are truly out.
  3. Very small segment want a small 2 seater of this kind. Not a mass market machine so it makes sense to only produce a small quantity that is profitable.
  4. I agree if you can get MSRP then go for it, but I always thought this was in competition to the Patriot. But now looking at the Jeep web site, I see just how much different the entry level AWD is compared to the mid level Jeep Patriot. Size tells allot, Jeep is 172 inches long compared to 188 for the chevy.
  5. EXCITEMENT!!!! This will be very cool and I expect us to see some of their newer design language but for a larger global market.
  6. Having driven a 4 banger and v6 awd Equinox when I took my son shopping for his new ride. He loved the added get up and go of the V6 but wanted the fuel efficiency of the 4 which was still decent for pickup. Problem? GM's price increases. The Equinox AWD which he loved and Seattle seems to have plenty of the 4 bangers on lots here seem to all be priced aroun 25K to start which put it outside my son's budget. Only a month or two ago, Chevy's web site had the AWD 4 bangers starting at 22K. While I like going to prepackaged sets to make it easier to shop, having such a large price increase pushed Chevy out of my son's options and he ended up buying a Jeep Patriot Latitude that along with their $1000 rebate an $500 College graduate first time buyers allowed him to get a loaded Patriot Latitude Trail Rated edition with everything except Nav and Sun roof for 21K including tax and license. GM needs to realize tha college kids need and want an awd or 4x4 so they can get up the mountain to play.
  7. Chat works freakin awesome. Thank you,
  8. This is the time to tell everyone and the politicians regardless of party to SHUT THE F*@K UP! How do you do this? Lower prices on the auto to start, marketing commercials that talk about the quality, the American jobs it created and have current owners interviewed talking about it. Then throw the hammer down by challanging America! They could even use the Death of the EV to call out these very same people. " You said we killed the EV for no good reason yet the market was not willing to support it! The market has asked for now and we have delivered to you the VOLT! American Engineered, American parts supplied, American MADE!!! Check it out at your local Chevy dealer now and when you see one on the road, thank them for supporting Jobs in America!"
  9. Reg, have to disagree with you as I do NOT get the Neon 2.0 feeling from the design at all. I was no fan of the neon but the SRT4 neon was not bad. Yet this is totally dfferent in my eyes and has far better looking design cues.
  10. GMTruckGuy74, I totally agree, the Look is a love it / hate it look but that is why I like it so much. It truly stands apart from all other luxury SUV's just like my Escalade 2006 stands out from all others. Plus how many people are really going to be able to aford it anyway. I would be listening to the ubber rich customers more than the general public at an auto show.
  11. SWEET, Just imagen a Ducati with a Audi type Headlight with underscoring led. Be bad ass looking.
  12. Welcome Jesse, Red and Riv. Glad to have addition folks wanting to chat up the auto industry with us. Is that the Healthy Kind of Fat or bad for you kinda fat???
  13. Jeers, not the kind of GTO I would bother with.
  14. We'll I wonder if it will really be a hatchback or is that just part of their cladding to cover up the true design of the car? Yes you can tell it is a maerati but they did a good job of covering what the body will look like.
  15. Honestly if they are worried about a feaking day jinx their product, then they do not have much faith in the quality of the product. April 1st is a sunday what moron releases a new product on a sunday. If they wanted to do this rightl, they should have it on Friday March 30th to drive people into the show room over the weekend. Clearly someone was not thinking with their big head in Marketing.
  16. WOW, Is this a rip off of the ugly Toyota CUV or What!!! Improved over the older jelly bean design, but lets find some freakin originality please rather than just duplicating what has already been done. Sad way for the Koreans to go.
  17. JEERS As much as I love these trucks, the 5.3 was the wrong engine to put in this truck from the start. The later models with the 6.0 V8 would be worth the other issue with this truck. PRICE, they are asking is way too high. Love the color.
  18. CHEERS, This is a sweet ride and collectors if you have the spare cash.
  19. Check out the GM anoucement thread on CNG trucks, I posted a number of link on places you could buy parts to build your own CNG ride. Good luck.
  20. Yes, I would believe it would. I used to work back in the late 70's for a pizza chain here called Pizza Haven and they did all deliveries in Propane powered chevy trucks. It was awesome.
  21. YES, Please upload PICS Need to see the New Stuff!!!
  22. Sweet rie, I have to agree that Chrome on the dash is a crazy thing with the reflection issue. I wonder if it would make sense to send off some of your special JAG oil for testing and review t find out what it really is. You just might find out it is Mobil 1 Synthetic or AMSOIL. Love to sees some pics of your ride, sounds very nice.
  23. Interesting, this will clearly gain traction now that GM is offering vehicles to sell that are CNG. I wonder why the dealerships are not willing to sell a self fueling CNG install for your home. When one looks at the Natural Gas infastructure, you see millions of homes with Natural Gas. It only makes sense to offer CNG kits for the house just like Recharge kits. About time we use a natural resource where we actually lead the world in amount available in the ground.
  24. Yea I really did not get the full grasp between the three either and in looking up online, there are many ways of this being explained but did find this site that seems to have one of the best explanations on this and it toally syncs with what diwightlooi mentions above. Check it out: http://www.epi-eng.com/piston_engine_technology/power_and_torque.htm Rock on Torque!!!
