  1. WOW, looks better than their current dull RX, but is the Predator look really the best way to go as the new design language for them as a luxury product line? I think they will scare off their conservative dull base of customers.
  2. That is just too funny that a car can make so many bad noises before you even turn the key on. It reminds me of the Yugo's that made a ton of noises before turning on the motor.
  3. Actually some of the funniest things about the Versa were the sounds it made. Please do share, after all we do find sounds especially body function sounds to be funny in the US. Just watch Rocket Man to see how funny sounds can be.
  4. Interesting, I like the look and it would be interesting to see how spacious or if it is on the inside. I agree with Oldmoboi, they need to do their research, calling this KH will not fly and their names need to be mucho better for a flag ship luxury car.
  5. Eventually RWD/FWD will be gone as we move to AWD in a Hybrid format giving us better over all performance. As has been mentioned, the last 15 years except for the Corvette and Camaro, Chevy has been a FWD builder of appliances that people seem to like and if you go to CUV/SUV you end up with AWD/FWD or 4x4/FWD. Active Lifestyles is making people change their thinking about drive trains. Plus Xbox has really helped raise a generation of AWD drivers.
  6. Optimism is what we have to always show so that others can have a reason to grasp for the dream. In today’s society, there are too many groups/individuals that are negative and it does not help with Religious groups attacking each other and blaming everyone else for their lot in life when each person controls their own destiny. We Can Change The Future We Can Inspire The Next Generation We Can Show The Way to Peaceful Coexistent We Can Motivate A Nation We Can Motivate a World We have done it before, we can do it again!!!
  7. A mocking Photo of you two with the Versa would have been Priceless.
  8. Oldsmoboi you are right on the mark, anyone who does their homework should realize tha the M6 is an over priced Pig with lipstick. Nothing there to brag about except the name BMW M6 Sadly there are idiots who will waste their money on this car because it is not American and has to be bette than a CTS-V.
  9. I think GM is doing the right thing by using successful Ideas from past vehicles to make a current product even better. Since Saturn is a dead company, I see no reason why this should bother anyone. So far everyone I have shown the new Acadia to really has liked it.
  10. Oldsmoboi, you must be in the 5'8" - 5'10" club as I could not fit even in a Mini-Clubman. They are just way to small for big people.
  11. I totally agree, I expect to see us drop the whole FWD/RWD in favor of AWD as Hybrids like the Volt become common sense and as we push Clean, Hi output Diesel engines like the Duramax 2.8L, I can see us continue to get better milage as we merge these engines with battery packs and electric motors. I can see one day driving a full size AWD SUV up the mountain with a 1L Turbo generator that manages 100 miles a gallon and you have a small 5 or 10 gallon tank at most as the space of past fuel tanks are replaced by Battery packs. HOW does this relate to Kids hate Auto? Simple, as we break the traditional bounderies of auto's giving longer milage on cleaner auto's while delivering the ability for youth to have their active life style, we will see more and more youth come back to designing auto's. Just as a colllege has come up with a way to put coils in the roads to power electric auto's long range, eventually we will have drive free cars where people will not have to think about driving, just get in, tell it where to go and sit back, sleep, read the news, watch a show, etc. Kids hate auto's today is due in part to the Cost and the Bland boring cars. Just look at all the bland style that comes out of Japan and yet we can also see the potential in what is coming out of Detroit, Korea and elsewhere.
  12. We the dreamers need to show them the way to exciting auto's.
  13. SWEET, this is very cool! I cannot wait to see this car on a test drive at the track.
  14. Totally agree, they need to remember that Dreams is what drives the passion. You need a quality Dream auto along with Quality auto to fund the dreams that keep people coming back for more.
  15. They need to bring the 2.8L Duramax Diesel here in the New TrailBlazer.
  16. I like em, hope it helps GM drive down the cost and bring those engines and the new Trailblazer here to the US.
  17. I am hearing more and more the late teens and 20 something crowd want AWD to get to the mountains to play and Great gas milage to get to and from work. I see some that want the cool speed cars, but more and more want an all around vehicle to haul their friends and live an active life style. At least here in Seattle.
  18. Personally We need to demand that the government take away the speculation that Ex Prez Bush allowed. Speculation in oil and gas is hurting not helping this country. Only a few really get ahead on this. Speculation is bad for this country and the world. We do not need to have the rich few use the stock market as their own personal gambling casino.
  19. Over all regardless if you are a demobot or RepubliRat, The TARP dollars had to be done for the well being of this country. Anyone who wants to blame Bush or Obama, need to wake up to the fact that our current Depression would have been much worse if we did not bail out the financial industry and the auto industry. The time now is to cut out the waste and stop being a world police and focus on rebuilding our country as we pay off our Debt.
