  1. Photoshop or Corel Draw allows this capability, but you will want to blend it right so it is not visually noticable. The file will always show that it was edited.
  2. Boy they are going to have to really make radical changes to make this ugly bug pretty.
  3. Totally agree with the CEO, no need for SUV or Green ride as this product line is about being the most luxury car line around. Keep it exclusive as a dream line for the masses and the 1% only being able to buy it.
  4. Why I love my Suburban, Escalade, etc. All of my vehicles are GM trucks or SUV's and so I have not had this name headache to deal wtih. I do agree, GM and Ford seem to be the worst at changing names for the same bloody car line.
  5. Yet the marketing of Datsun and the money being spent still does not make any real sense for the over all cost compared to using what they already have. Unless the Nissan or Dacia name in these 3rd world backwater places have bad name recognition.
  6. Sweet, so any tid-bits you can share or like car anouncements you will keep us in suspense? New features or just updates for security and solidness?
  7. I am wondering how they will keep the interior comfy for us 6'6" tll guys in such a small package.
  8. Teaches me to read the full story, yes the story at the link says the truck flipped onto the car and had to be pulled upright after they pulled it off the car to free the woman. Took 2hrs to free her and then they right sided the truck. WOW, that would have been some 2hrs being crunched in that car.
  9. We'll since I have not really paid attention for a while to the Mercedes SUV lineup, There existing SUV is nice looking. Thinking about it, I never really did look at the outside, just looked more inside to see how it compared to my suv.
  10. Yea, but why not either expand Dacia to these markets or expand the bottom end of Nissan rather than recreate an old name plate when the industry clearly does not need one.
  11. Yea the station wagon R class should be retired and just focus on SUV's with diesels as that is a good mix. I do like the new suv shown above, but I hope they have a modern NAV and over all dash as I just checked out a new SUV of an engineer here and it is nice, but the dash seems dated and the nav seems even older than my 2006 escalade nav.
  12. Bad move, this is Carlos grasping at straws in trying to figure out how to grow his empire with no real clue on how to do this with the existing brand. DING-DONG, WAKE UP CALL CARLOS, The glut of auto's on the market and over capacity should be telling you that bringing anothr name plate to market is NOT the right way to go.
  13. WOW, Guess this is total loss of car, good thing she was able to get down below the top of the dash, that is the only way I can imagen she survived, getting down low.
  14. SWEET, Nice going and thanks for posting the link.
  15. Very Understanding, thank you for taking the time to answer my question. I have always wondered why people think or feel this way. In seattle with very little snow, when we do get it, the hill's here become toboggin runs and as You Tube has shown we bounce off everything. Course for those of use that are die hard skiing buffs, AWD is the only way to go for winter driving and for the amount of water we seem to always have laying around. Good luck with your Terrain, I love the style, fit and finish. I suspect I will have to some day break down, buy one and build my own Typhoon Edition especially now with the upcoming New DI v6 going in. It would be mad fun to have a Metallic Black Terrain, with Black chrome to replace regular chrome and then use cold air induction with turbo's to really spool up the car, but I want it in AWD. Black out windows and have the leather seats stiched with a typhoon name. Will admit, once you go awd, it is hard to go back to just RWD. But RW in winter does increase your driving skills for handling skids, vehicle control loss. Practical but usable like my 2008 Trailblazer SS. Or IMO usable.
  16. Cool, I would be happy to have an RT AWD with these features on it.
  17. Yup it does seem that the Forum Garage link he posted above is broken.
  18. Hyperv6, one question for you, why not get AWD?
  19. I wonder if you have a confused HVAC soleniod. From what I have found with BING, this seems to be an issue with the Impala's on batery change, you need to denergize the electrical by swiping the battery cable over the post before hooking up. Seems to confuse them. You can pull the neg and swip it to deenergize the electrical system and see if it fixed the Soleniod. Good luck.
  20. WOW, Thanks Cubical, that is pretty cool, reminds me of my days collecing Matchbox cars in the 70's. Course if I knew the value they would have become, I would never have given them to my nephew who destroyed them all. They were in mint condition as I never did like scratching them up or playing hard with them. Cool Hobby,
  21. I could so easily say WHY WHY WHY, but then with Fuel Economy, this becomes self answering. Gotta make the numbers if you plan to play in the US and Europe now. Still silly for this kind of car to have that. Course hopefully they will give it a better body look as it is currently ugly to me.
