  1. It would be awesome to do a tribute of listing the picture of all the great cars he had a hand in creating.
  2. Yes, please keep the CTS Wagon and add an ATS Wagon in standard and V versions.
  3. So compared to 10 years ago, how has this model faired? Have they improved or stayed static. Compared to the competition in this class, where does it sit. In regards to the future, can this model survive a 5 year life or will it have to be dropped and rebooted?
  4. I actually think this will work against Honda more than help them for the small price it would have cost them.
  5. Too true, a jelly bean has no way to be shortened as it is still a jellybean.
  6. A man who will be missed but has shown us that those who believe in pushing the envelope can succeed and we should all make sure we live life to the fullest. R.I.P Carrol, you will be missed but not forgotten.
  7. Here ya go http://www.flickr.com/photos/greggjerdingen/5581956431/
  8. Um, where is a sales ticker in this forum. I have looked and did not find it. I assume you mean a ticker that covers sales of cars or is it a wall street ticker? Interesting to know.
  9. Yea I saw this story and the first thing in my mind is how people have become a disposable society. No one and this BMW is a perfect example seem to be willing to take care of their cars. A car can last for ever with care and yet people seem to not want to bother, just drive it, trash it and replace it. Sad state of our country.
  10. I wonder if we can order as a Crate Motor the New Duramax 2.8L, that would be a kick ass 4 banger to put into a modern cuv or truck.
  11. Perfect for being turned into a street sleeper.
  12. Would you pay $129,000 for this mini???? http://www.americanhotrods.com/iauto/listing_details/2516/1948_CHEVROLET_Custom___RatRod___RetroRod___Other.html Amazing, but I think not.
  13. Post your old Barn find's pictures or video's!!! I will start with a sweet 1955 Find! http://www.vidoevo.com/yvideo.php?i=eVJwM3Z4cWuRpRlBOVGs&old-barn-find-1955-chevy
  14. I think it was a '70s fad also...I remember seeing cars like these in Hot Rod magazine as kid.. I totally agree, my hot rod mags show this was a 70's thing. Very big as I do remember seeing a few of them around Seattle then. Always loved them. American Mini's
  15. H'mmm 5 years at least makes sense and if they truly replace xts in 5 years it will keep it fresh and interesting for people and buyers. Question for your, being Friday morning and having been up for 6hrs already running on 2hrs sleep, SORP = ??????? EMC has an achronym web page as they have like 800 used. So I am mind blank on what it stands for.
  16. Betcha is has a Cummins!!!
  17. Hello, yes this is a common problem in washington state, The squires and other rodent type animals seem to find these type of Antennas as a great place to chew to keep their teeth from growing to long. If you watch I bet you will find some rodent has found that he likes the flavor of nawing on your antenna.
  18. And Leaders wonder why the people are rising up against them.
  19. I agree with SAmadei, America first. Just as VW, BMW, MB, Toyota, Honda, etc all have the majority of their engineering work done in their home country with styling from around the world. I see no reason not to have the majority of work done on the global platform here in america and then tweak it for the rest of the world. Opel is a blood sucking leech and needs to be erradicated. Then you can focus spending money on quality built products to ship around the world. QUALITY products created here in America, built around the world for specific markets. Streamlined auto language with a natural upgrade story of Chevy, Buick and luxury caddiac
  20. Yes bette constructed vehicles is the reason for lower deaths and seatbelts, yet were do we cross the line in letting technology protect us too much? Will this over protection make humanity loose it edge to push forth and explore new frontiers?
  21. The current Accord has arguably the best driving dynamics of any midsize car and is still at or near the top of its class even at the end of its life cycle. To some people and clearly you must love it based on your comment. I myself have seen the current selling Accord and a relative has multiple of them, but they are bland, dull and too small inside for 6'6" tall me. The dash reminds me of what everyone complains about american cars. Just a plastic mess. Sorry, Honda has the basic appliance down for solid bland cars and I do not see that changing anytime soon. Sadly they appeal to what I see as conservative bland people.
  22. Cheers, this lovely style would be a big hit for GM now. They need a stylish 2 person small car and this could have led GM to better small cars long ago.
  23. Yes I totally understood that and it is a stupid idea. people will forget to keep it charged and when they need their owners manual it will not be available. They will leave it in the house, play with it or probably recover a thousand dollars by selling it. The cost of this is far greater I am sure than having the owners manual online in the NAV unit or as an app that can install into all smartphones. Dumb Dumb Move by GM.
  24. I would so love to take my cars and race on the milford proving grounds.
