  1. Just proves that we all have a mess in some corner of the house.
  2. FWD - Four Wheel Drive Auto company. Bing it baby http://www.flickr.com/photos/porkypig/4656868235/ The FWD Battleship Dubbed the "Battleship" because of its amazing traction and ability "to go where no car could go" this 1909 Badger-FWD is generally regarded as the first four-wheel-drive motor car in America. It is the first of 10 such cars and chassis built during the years 1909-1910-1911 by the Four Wheel Drive Auto Company, later named FWD, Clintonville, Wisconsin. The car is powered by a Continental, 4-cycle, 4-cylinder, 45-horse-power gasoline engine and a 3-speed transmission provides a top road speed of 55 MPH. Its weight, including the hand-crafted, 7-passenger touring car body, is 3,800 labs. Its selling price, FOB Clintonville, $4,500.00. The original car is on display at the FWD museum and historical building in which it was built in Clintonville, Wisconsin (FWD Museum pamphlet).
  3. Jeers, while really cool, not a practical use daily driver or modern camping. This is a great history note for a museum.
  4. Chris did a nice job on snapping the pictures of the auto. Looks like it will be a nice SS, should have a good smallblock v8 and if tuned right should handle very well.
  5. Keep in mind, Full Size Cars have been replaced by Full Size SUV's, Full Size CUV's and the so called Mini Van that holds 7 or 8 people. Our Life styles have dictated this change, not all like sitting on the ground in traditional cars and more important is the change from large families to smaller ones and to a variety of activities. Traditional large cars do not cut it when you Ski, Hike, Camp, boat, etc. The variety of life activities has shown why the auto's have changed.
  6. My lawyer drives nothing but cadillacs, and keeps them immaculately detailed. Why do you think I use him? Very cool, this is the first lawyer I have heard of that drives American. About damn time. THanks for sharing. Back to the thread, what about kit cars? I have never seen a vin on these cars and how the Skylines were built tends to remind me of a kit car. I do have to agree that removing a vin while illegal should not end in the destruction of two beautiful auto's. The prosecutor just seems like a dick.
  7. Sorry just could not hold it in for these soccer mom mobiles.
  8. Return of the King
  9. This would get lots of love from the public.
  10. This is all kinds of wrong by the gov. I thought washington was bad as a guy who bought his silver Skyline from Motoplex in California who imported and emission complied the car says his is not street legal here, so now he just drives it at the track, but misses driving it daily. The car is a freakin beast and the GOV is taking our rights away to so called protect us. The GOV is for the people by the people and this BS in telling us what you can and cannot do and what you should and should not drive is BS. This GOV will have revolution on it's hands at the rate they keep going with taking away freedoms and peoples property. The prosecutor is just a lacky who was jealous of someone else that had a better car that could beat his pathetic German car. I have yet to see any lawyer drive an american Auto.
  11. Got this in my email, a review on the XTS. Some good some bad, but over all a decent write up. I do wish this person stated the proper place for this car rather than just falling into the normal Lemmings way of saying this is the flagship car for now till something better comes that cadillac mgmt has alluded to. They do like the powertrain and the interior. http://cars.about.co...-Xts-Review.htm Pictures you find here: http://cars.about.co...-photo-gallery/
  12. Yes the Gov thinking they know best for the population as they cocoon with so called safety and blandness that kills off the drive to reach for the unknown in the name of safety. The Gov can piss off, there better be an off switch for these stupid nanny devices, otherwise I will never be buying a new auto again.
  13. Some things you just should not mess with. Yea, I know I am not a mini customer and will never be, but for smaller people, the mini is a perfect fit and they should not attempt to stretch a mini to fit bigger people. Small car for small people. Live well enough alone.
  14. Interesting, I wonder where it originally came from? I see the carfax shows it was a private sale, not a police use or gov use. Guess they did not like the v8 gas mileage for being traded in so early.
  15. I would agree with letting Buick cover the 1 class and let Cadillac cover everything above that class of auto.
  16. They better have an off switch. I do not want or need this techno bable crap. They must have used Lemmings as those are the people who are more interested in playing with themselves/ their toys than to actually drive and enjoy the driving experiance.
  17. I think the 2 mode would be great for the XLR.
  18. Be interesting to see how the ATS stacks up against this series.
  19. Twin Turbo v6 or 4 banger would be good for this car in AWD form.
  20. Dart SRT would totally Rock. The Neon SRT proved you did not need AWD to compete with the STI or any other Pocket Rocket. Rock on DART SRT! What about the small Chevy SS that was Supercharged and then Turbo Charged. I forgot the name, but it was a fun little compact.
