About time American car makers grew a pair....
G. David Felt replied to A Horse With No Name's topic in The Lounge
Very Cool, that is one of the better ad's I have seen Ford do. About time they got a pair of balls in putting their cars up against some top performance cars. M3 for sure is high but no reason not to show off just how well the car can handle. -

Yea for me at 6'6" tall, sun roofs eat up valuable head room. I will pass on them also.

Freakin Awesome link, thanks for posting it. I loved the black race car on page 6 that has the glowing red hot header showing. On page 7 the 1959 Abarth is what they should have used for the current Abarth. That body style is lovely compared to the current but ugly Abarth.

So if we can get GM to bring the Opel Adam to the US shores, then we could have 3 versions: Entry - Buick Agile Middle - Buick Agile G Top - Buick Agile GS - This would be a Turbo Model

ATS Results are in and They are Good Very Good!

Sweet, so glad to hear the ATS is world class like we wanted and hoped for. -
Look Great with the bigger rims.

More Pictures please so we can see the front, 3/4 view, interior. In regards to the car, do they still have that terrible shifter as part of the dash? Fit and finish both inside and out, I expect it to be good, but does it have anoying form? Some rear doors I see coming have these huge long flares that will cause door dings and be hard to get in and out of in tight parking. So are the front door normal van like with sliding rear or what? Road noise when driving, how does it compare to a buick? Blind spots? What type of Nanny devices did it come with?

Would be cool to have a thread of Luxury cars and their first generation version and the current generation version to see how they improved or not! -

Industry News: Aston Martin Considers Smaller Engines
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Industry News
I wonder if you could do a crazy twin scroll twin turbo on a 4 banger with cold air intake! Then drop a NOS tank on it for an added boost! -
Vehicle: Oldsmobile Starfire GT (1975)
G. David Felt replied to Elitedragon27's topic in Member's Rides Showcase
I actually like the body style, so that would be cool to gut the car, beef up the frame and drop in the 2.0T. That would be a blast of a fuel sipper car! -
VW News: 2014 Volkswagen Jetta To Drop 2.5 For 1.8T
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Volkswagen
Yes with Torque, at least around town you can get off the line much better than just a fuel sipper with no torque. It can be fun in the 0 to 40mph zone.- 16 replies

Cadillac News: XTS Hybrid? Don't Count On It
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Cadillac
Very True, you will need localization teams around the globe, but you do not need engineering teams all over. GM could do very well with consolidating Opel into other design teams and just keep a localization team that is responsible for keeping the engineering group updated on what is needed to succeed in that country or part of the world. IMHO! -
Kia News: Kia Renames The K9 To Quoris For The Rest Of The World
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Kia
I do see the poser BMW in their grill but it screams cheap to me still just like the Genesis. They both just do nothing to say I am a Luxury car. Maybe their engineers are watching to much Anime! -
Industry News: Aston Martin Considers Smaller Engines
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Industry News
Aston Martin's positioning is quite a bit above M3 and ATS-V territory... Not if they want to have a fuel efficient car to protect their top end auto's. Building a ATS-V or M3 competitor that runs on a Twin Scroll Twin Turbo V6 to help push up their cafe numbers would be a smart move. -
Kia News: Kia Renames The K9 To Quoris For The Rest Of The World
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Kia
WOW, The name just screams thug. A name you would pick up in prison. What the hell with all the freaking SOB nanny technology. As a driver, I DO NOT need a car telling me what I can and cannot do. Again, driving is a privilege and I do not need a car telling me to be alert and know what is going on around me. Drivers need to wake up to the fact that they have a responsibility to be aware of what is around them, not just be along for the ride as a driver of a Dumbmobile! -
Making a Honda go fast, made easy!
G. David Felt replied to A Horse With No Name's topic in The Lounge
Hope you do not scare easily as my wife says I drive way to fast, I tell her I am Aggressive Defensive driver! I support making drivers ed $2500 with racing training. Driving is a privilege you earn and you should enjoy it. Have a lane for bus/carpool and for self driving cars like the POS Prius from Google. All other drivers get to drive in American AutoBohn! Same rules as they have in Germany! I like the way you think....I would agree. In Finland, I think that's pretty much the way that they do it. Society has to accept that not everyone is cut out to drive or handle the responsibility of driving. -
Industry News: Aston Martin Considers Smaller Engines
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Industry News
Last line says it all, Aston Martin is all about luxury and performance, a 3 or 4 banger engine will not get people to spend the money on the label. I would say a strong turbo 4 or better 6 to compete against the M3 or ATS-V would be a smart move. -
Douchey good luck with school and your adventure of life!
