Chrysler News: About 5% of Chrysler Dealers Will Sell The Viper
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Chrysler
Very Smart, Build a specialty that allows those few dealerships to have that extra Jewel in their crown. I think Chevy should do this with the Corvette ZR1. Any 100,000K auto should be a special program as it deserves special recognition. -
This is a great CUV for my parents as a retirement awd fully loaded at $33,000. I like it allot.

Is it me or does the image of the arcadia look worse than when they first introduced the auto? The picture above makes it look like it was in a fight and has a black eye. Not a fan of the head lights with that black ring around it.

Interactive Review: 2012 Nissan cube 1.8S Indigo Limited Edition
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Reviews
Why does all these Sh&TBricks so noisy and tinny feeling. To me while I can see it being roomy for the under 5'8" crowd, they seem cramped and then deliver all the noise in the world rather than a relaxing driving experiance. Just seem to be so lacking yet then it is a cheap entry level starter car. -
So Sweet, my rental was the same color, Silver. Glad to hear you hd a great drive.

Worse yet, why pay crazy amount of money for the Iphone 5 when it has less features than the 4S and is only catching up. Apple missed the boat on taking the phone to the next level. They offered nothing new compared to what is already found in the Android or windows phone.

I give you a Rant, I was on VACATION last week and enjoyed being unplugged, but on the way home, I went by Kar Corner a specialty seller in muscle and old cars and WOW they had 6 different ElCamino's that you would love. http://www.kompactkarkorner.com/ Check em out if you really want a nice ride! Then rant all you want! IPhone is a Joke, The latest version has a reduced feature set compared to the 4S all due to Apple wanting to charge you now for features they think you will pay to use. Android is a far superior phone, better feature set and costs a ton less. Apple is so over rated.

Sweet, had my Trailblazer SS in for service and the free loaner was a nice Yukon. Being long legged, I had the seat back at a comfy distance from the steering wheel and then hit the switch on the dash next to the center arm rest to push the pedals all the way back and it was perfect. Looking at the center dash, lower left hand corner before the storage section was the pedal adjustment button and at least in my loaner, it went back far enough to give me the comfort I wanted. Have a safe trip.

Just keep in mind, if you buy a $500 beater and it ends up needing 2000 of repairs to be a safe dependable car, you will wish you got the astra fixed. In thinking about this, I would honestly take it to the dealer and ask them to do an assessment of the repair. At least the chevy dealers here have a $100 diagnostic service and then you know just what is wrong and what the cost will be. Now at least here in seattle, any gm dealership does a repair and it is repaired for life currently.

YAWN, Not impressed. If this is the future of BMW, they have lost their way in building Driving Machines. Should have made this a CNG auto!- 5 replies

Disc brakes also increase unsprung mass and are more susceptible to corrosion-related failures. True, get all those silly east coast states to stop destroying the planet with their freakin salt and salt based solutions on the roads. I have never seen such terrible roads till I traveled on the east coast and upper mid west. Disc brakes also increase unsprung mass and are more susceptible to corrosion-related failures. Both are non factors as failures are rare and weight differences are small since they are using much lighter parts today. I am unaware of any street car that suffers any handling ills because of a disc brake. Besides drums are no more trouble free. If anything I see more leakin wheel cylinders and frozen adjusers than any other brake issue. Almost all HHR's with rear drums has adjuster issues. GM has since solves their rear disc adjustment issues of the 80's and early 90's. Totally agree here, I would take any auto with all Disc's over drums any day. They work so much better on road and off road as proven by my fleet of GM SUV's.

Cheers or Jeers: 1958 NAPCO GMC
G. David Felt replied to wildmanjoe's topic in Auctions and Classifieds
So much potential as long as the price does not go through the roof. -
IGNITION COILS, Yup Bing it or Google it, but I have found on nurmerous forums that people with Astra's having the same issues and everyone says to scan for codes as some do show up and there have been times nothing showed up. But always good troubleshooting to do. Then test the Ignition coils as multiple people have stated they failed or were flaky and once replaced the auto ran better than new. Seems to be an issue with the 2007-2008 astras. I agree with others, much cheaper to repair this car and drive it than to dump it, take a loss and look for a beater that will have multiple hidden issues.

While I can understand not wanting to get rid of a cherished item like your guitar, Keep in mind, Your investing in your Future. Going without the Guitar while you educate yourself, fix your ride so it is dependable, will allow you to get even more or better guitars down the road. Sacrifice now for a better future. Instant gratification does not secure a job, retirement or your future.
