I see these as legal challanges by the estabilshed core who are afraid of the change this will bring. Some like myself love going to a dealership and test driving before I decide if I want to buy. Others love the web and will buy with no consideration to the drive. They look at auto's as an appliance and as such look to have a very different buying experiance. In time, these franchises are going to have to change yet for the time being we will see these stupid lawsuits.

Jeep News: Jeep Vehicles To Built In China Once Again?
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Jeep
This is NOT Good. They better have a iron clad locked agreement on everything including the pencils sitting around otherwise the Chinese will steal and call all the technology their own. -
I honestly do not know what the hell this person is thinking on doing this to this vet!

This just makes me laugh also, so true!!!! -
WOW, Just think of the Smell! So I wonder if they will call it the Poo Lamp! I do have to say it would be a neat way to deal with the waste and get a benefit out of it also. Hope enough people really pay attention and support it.

You'll see less of me for a bit
G. David Felt replied to Drew Dowdell's topic in Site News and Feedback
Cubical, as I said to drew applies to you. Wish you safe travels and staying healthy. The joy of dealing w/ time zones, stale airplane air, and crappy hotel HVACs... Stick with me kid, I'm platinum with Marriott and Intercontinental. I do have a silver status with US Airways that I can gift for 90 days.Cool... I'm a US Airways fan, but my company always uses Southwest and Hyatt. But I do have a corporate Amex card, a corporate Mac Book Pro, a corporate iPhone, and a corporate iPad.. That is a bit much Corporate Mac for me. JJ -
Or relocate her to be closer by you, never know she just might enjoy the change and getting away from crazy brother. Not likely to happen..she has no interest in leaving the 'farm' (150 acres in the woods on a lake in E. Ohio)--been there 44 years, even moved back full time there after wintering in Florida for 15 years. And she likes our brother more than my sister and I... OUCH! To the likes the Sister and brother more than me. That hurts. We'll then stay in touch and enjoy your life. Not much else you can do. When our father was alive, the dynamic was my brother always fought w/ Dad and was Mom's boy... my sister and I got along better w/ Dad than Mom. Plus that fact that our brother has lived in the family guest house rent free for 30 years (after his divorce he moved back in). Maybe I am better off being 1500 miles away, I always feel like a stranger when I visit home...though I still a bunch of stuff there incl. my Mustangs. Just keep in mind to make sure everyone knows what is yours, I have had to deal with leaving stuff with grandparents and then cousins saying it was not mine but the grandparents and it was left to them. It gets messy. Hope all works out for you in the long run.

Next Generation Silverado to Debut in December
G. David Felt replied to GMTruckGuy74's topic in Chevrolet
The headlight seems weird to me, reminds me of the ugly headlights on the Fords. I really hope I like one of the versions GM puts out. Right now I really like the GMC look of the truck over the Chevy. Be interesting to see how they differentiate them this time. -
Industry News: Another Delay For The Fisker Atlantic
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Industry News
So in rereading this, I missed where the push back is due to the DOE freezing the majority of their 529 million loan since they were not ready to build the Karma which was a requirement in the loan by a specific date. They also mention they had done tremendous cleanup to the GM plant they bought and yet searching on the web seems to imply they have done nothing to the site to get it ready for auto production. The amount of grey stories on Fisker makes me think this is another one of those fly by night to steal half a billion dollars from the public. I am very happy that the DOE is making them have to honor the delivery dates before they can get anymore money. -

So many cool videos of police chases. Amazing some of the dumb things people do while driving. Truly they should not be behind the wheel. I agree with your statement, I did not think Red would be my color but then I became the owner of a Beatuiful Redish 2008 Trailblazer SS and I love it with the metalic and deep dark red color. Thank goodness it is not fire engine red. I do like this redish ruby color and I have seen it on a few corvettes.

Very Cool, seems the late 60's moving onward people change unless they have always lived their life by charging forward. Good luck with her as she hopefully enjoys her golden years for a long time.

Cheers or Jeers: 1969 Chevrolet Camaro 396

Too Funny looking at the photo's again, I see they actually had a tow harness bolted to the bumper. What Moron uses a camero to tow with. Silly stupid rednecks. -

I assume they all were petite like you Drew being in the 5'6" height crowd. While the Cruze is a nice auto and I take nothing away from it. I could not take it on a long road trip as I would be cramping up in the 2-3hr range unlike my Full size SUV's where I can drive for 18hrs straight except for stopping to gas up. Please don't take away 4" I'm 5'10" My Uncle is 6'3", he's fine in his Focus hatch. Another co-worker is 6'1" and has a Focus hatch also. Co-worker who sits across from me is 6'4" and drives the wheels off his Mini-Cooper. I assume you're 7'9" if you can't fit in one of these? Sorry, Did not mean to take away any height from anyone, for some reason I thought you were 5'6" tall. I am glad to see that some tall people are able to get into the auto. For me I wonder if they are more long body and shorter legs and arms as I am the opposite with shorter body but very long legs and arms so for me, it is always about how far back I can get the seat so I do not feel like Origami in the drivers seat. This usually means no one can sit behind me. This was the one draw back on my CTS, No one can sit behind me.
