  1. Instead of coupe, they should call them Aero's. M3 Aero M4 Aero M5 Aero M6 Aero This would keep from confusing people with the stupid Coupe name when the freakin auto has 4 doors.
  2. Reliability is going to be an issue I think. I wonder just how long these engines can really last.
  3. Very true, I have a company that is wanting to install time fill CNG appliances on site at their business to fuel their bus fleet over night and the Fire Marshell said they just need to fuel at the fast fill 5 miles down since it is safer, blah blah blah blah. I supplied all the CSA certifications and that everything meets the NFPA 52 rules and how much safer these fueling appliances are than even a business hot water tank or heater run on natural gas. He went into a full blown rage on green, the trees and environment to protect, blah blah blah blah. I finally went over his head to the Seattle Fire board with my documentation and the company now has approval to move forward with their time fill solution. Cost is just about $125,000 but since their bus fleet drives a bit over 25,000 miles a year, they are looking at a ROI of about 6-9 months at $1.25 per gallon versus $2.25 per gallon at the fast fill station. Fear mongering is one of the biggest problems in Advanced Fuel solutions such as CNG. The technology is solid and good, but we still need companies to play properly on drilling and processing of the gas. Will it ever be perfect? No I doubt it will. Yet America can kick the importation of Oil and reduce cost and clean up the air by moving to CNG as the advance fuel solution while the engineers work to get electric to the point that you can have a battery the size of a laptop that can run a car for 500 miles.

  5. WOW a 6.2L v6, that is one freakin big V6.
  6. The best thing that could be done due to the power requirements of the intel duo core CPU's is to use the Armstrong CPU, it was developed originally by DIGITAL and through multiple purchases became Intels property and they then took it where it was always planned to be. Low power consumption, high performance and is currently used in many smartphone to tablet applications. GM would be wise to move to this CPU and pick up at least a 40 or 80gb flash drive to run their CUE system and allow updates via the USB slot or via a Paid current OnStar subscription. This way they could push out updates every 6 months or at least every 12months and keep the system cutting edge.
  7. You can truly see those stainless steel rims around the headlights.
  8. Doubt anything will be successful, the China Gov is all about ripping off the world and allowing their own companies to grow as long as they get their kickback.
  9. Sounds Exciting, I think the Encore is going to be a big seller for Buick and for those that need it in AWD form, it will rock just fine with the Turbo engine.
  10. ASgreed, the CD player should be at either the top or bottom of the nav system and use the already included ripping software from the Linux system to rip the music onto a 40 or 80GB flash drive to allow a person to have a large database of awesome music.
  11. Yea I saw a trailer for GasLand and boy is this movie now that I have seen it just full of false info and outright lies. I am surprised Robert Redford would lend his name to a movie that is so full of lies, but then I guess people hate to learn the truth, they would rather just spread false info in a vain attempt to be eco warriors. Truthland was made to counter all the lies in Gasland and according to the news article I guess the gasland idiots are going to make a follow up film. http://www.post-gaze...th-film-645348/ The issue isn't is fracking safe... the issue is are fracking companies doing the fracking safely? are they disposing of their waste safely? is the extraction being done safely? there is a sufficient amount of evidence to at least raise these questions.... and they are not unfair questions to ask. Those are valid questions, sadly GasLand the movie twists this all into lies with stating that fracking is destroying the ground water, killing off grazing lands for cattle and making your kitchen sinks running bombs. We should always and I do believe based on my own experience that most companies do follow the EPA guidelines for safe responsible fracking and recovery of Natural gas. So many people seem to think you can create energy out of nothing and fight the needs humanity has for fossil fuels.

  13. You do realize the US imports most of its oil from Canada and Latin America right? I wish we had Natural Gas in this part of the state, hate home heating oil. So damn expensive, I'd wager electric heating is cheaper at this point. Yes I do realize that most of the oil comes in from Canada and Latin America but oil is still so much more expensive than natural gas. Where do you live as I would bet you could get Natural Gas piped to your house and while adding the natural gas line from the street to the house would be a small investment, how clean it is would surprise you as oil burning furnaces tend to create a bunch of soot that most people do not realize till they change over and clean up and then realize they are not dealing with the oil mess.
  14. To me it looks like stitches molded into plastic, but I could be wrong as the top line Denali might just be real leather. Eather way it is pleasing to the eyes.
  15. Only a politician could utter such drivel. What a crock, he is probably up for re-election and wants to make sure the unemployed unskilled workers vote him back into office. Euro's attitude of work for life is a joke in today's economy.
  16. We'll I wear glasses and like the GMC Look! Guess us nerds love our nerdy trucks.

  19. Apple is soooo over rated. GM does not need their garbage. GM just needs to put in a proper CPU to run the Bloated Linux code.
  20. I checked it out but find no value in Facebook or Twitter. As such I have no account on either and do not plan too. Sorry I will not be able to help.
  21. What I find is you are correct. Year: 2001 Make: Pontiac Model: Sunfire Sub Models: Base Engine Sizes: 2.2L L4 GAS, 2.4L L4 GAS Item: Engine Assembly OEM Genuine Quality
  22. I have to honestly say I do not like the exterior look of the Chevy, but do like the GMC but the interior of both is pretty awesome. I like the look and layout.
  23. H'mmmm While I have always liked the design language of the M series and still do for the most part. I get this feeling that BMW is stuck in a water down mode of just rehashing old 20 year old technology and not really bringing anything new to the table. I really wonder if BMW will still be the driving machine 5 years from now or as my gut tells me, I wonder if they are sliding down like Cadillac did.
  24. Sounds like a New GMC Terrain or Equinox would be a better fit to replace that Soulless CRV or better yet, get the Encore for you and your partner to drive. That would be a fun little Number.
  25. Sad as I was pretty excited about this car but totally understandable in the current depression of Europe.
