Over all nice car and I actually like the interior except for one thing. The Pile Driver Steering wheel. That center piece just is wrong for the over all flow. It looks like they pounded it on and was left with the center pile driven raised bump. Nice, but they really need to address the flow of the steering wheel into the rest of a nicely laid out interior.

WOW is this Buck Tooth Bug Eye Ugly car. I still do not understand how people seem to like the Acura Design language, it just makes me want to -
I actually really like this Escalade drawing.

This has grown on me, I am liking it more and more. Will still take a GMC Acadia over this, but it does have some nice features. -

Not great, but not bad, Honda Fans will love it and it clearly has design language that says I am a little sister to the CRV. I can see this selling, but I like the Encore look over this any day.- 5 replies

Toyota News: Detroit Auto Show: Toyota Corolla Furia Concept

While I will give them Kudo's for the rear, the over all car screams Honda Civic and the freakin ugly black mouth on the front is the same piss poor design styling that Mazda keeps doing. When will they find their own design language that truly breaks from the blended pack?- 7 replies

So this has some style from the Jeep and clearly looks like it could be a sister of the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee -

WOW, Sterile and Blah! This car has a fat mans Predator grill and is not inspiring. The interior is sterile and isolated from people input. This is what I would expect out of a robot building a car, not a human. Not impressed. FAILURE!- 5 replies

One persons clutter is another persons organization. I do not have a problem with the steering wheel or dash, I like the layout and flow. The interior I think is one of their best to date.- 49 replies

WOW, Talk about a Ugly Cheap looking interior and the exterior is to me an attempt to have a more Art/Science look like the ATS. The ATS looks so much better than this freakin ugly car. MB has truly lost their mojo in Design language, but people will buy it because it is an MB. All about the status war with the Joneses.- 15 replies

The front nose is very disappointing as it is she same old nose on the compass and they just filled in the lower section with back plastic and then added the new LED lights.- 4 replies

Detroit Auto Show: Lincoln MKC Concept: Comments
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Lincoln
While it is another Jelly Bean CUV, I will say this is the best looking one to date for the Lincoln line. I actually love the interior and am excited to see Push Button Trannies like the old chrysler we had from the 60's. Only thing that would be great would be to have the oil filter upside down in the engine bay so you could unscrew the cover and pull out the TP Roll and replace it. Those were the coolest oil filters ever along with the push button tranny. -

Who's Responsible For Setting Interior Design Guidelines?
G. David Felt replied to NDL's topic in Chevrolet
I love the single stalk of GM, Moving between all my auto's it is so easy to know where everything is and how everything works. Each their own, but I would rather have one single stalk to rule them all than two. -

Thanks Drew, The pictures are great, Love the Metallic Grey Vette. Other than the rear vents incorporated into the tail lights, I really love this car.- 49 replies

I have no problem with the quarter windows, I still have issue with the black triangles on the edge of the rear taillights. Even if these are functional rear exhaust vents, I think they could have incorporated them better into the car for the over all look rather than have it come across to me as an after thought. This is just like the 2014 Grand Jeep Cherokee. The nose is pretty much the same just a change in headlamps and you can see the same over all shap as on the compass and they just used black plastic to fill in the gaps so the new headlamps fit. After thought change for the jeep just as I feel the rear tailights on this beautiful corvette with the corner dropping triangle vents appear an after thought.

As I stated in the other thread with all the pictures of the Corvette, I love this one the most out of all generation's. My only issue is the rear taillights and their down turned corners. I really wish someone would ask GM why they wanted this sad looking Rear Taillight? What do those black triangles communicate?

Detroit Auto Show: 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray: Comments
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Chevrolet
I have to say this is my favorite looking corvette ever. I have never really hated any of the corvettes, but never really loved them either and while I am not a total fan of the rear tail lights with the drop down corner, this is bar far the best looking one to date.- 49 replies
