I agree, it is totally Cheeky! The next Chick Car from Honda! Another grain of rice to pull out of my suburban grill.

Both are failure POS! Let's also not forget the Asian love of 100K mile timing belt replacements. Ocnblu I have seen you negativity on VOLT, but even then a AWD Terrain with a VOLT powertrain would sell well. I think as much as I hate to send you away from American, if you want manly with high mileage, then look at one of these: I myself would go for the Touereg. I wish GM would get with the program of either using the VOLT on their CUV's or give us the Duramax 2.9L diesel in a Small and mid size CUV/SUV.

Good News, Your Crazy Cousin informs you he has decided he really likes the looks of the Stalker Mechanic and is going to stalk him back till he disappears.

Chrysler News: 2013 SRT Viper Production Is Behind Schedule
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Chrysler
Viper is Nice, but the New Vette is beautiful. Not perfect, but the best so far and for the price point, the Vette wins hands down. I read this as they have quality problems and had to go back and correct some major items to make sure your 100K car is near perfect as nothing ever is.- 5 replies

Great read, like the write up. I am shocked that such a dated Dash would be on a 100K dollar car. Looks like someone kept the 90's as they boosted the rest but stopped shy of giving you a full 21st package car. Chris, Tell Mark to dump his Ford and Buy a Chevy Trailblazer SS. Plenty of room for us big guys, lots of excitement in AWD, a gurgle out of the pipe anyone can love with towing you never even feel that something is back there. I know, I have a 2008 SS AWD Trailblazer. Again, great write up on the 6 series and love the photo's.

Chevrolet News:2014 Chevrolet Malibu To Address Back Seat
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Chevrolet
While I do not think all is lost as one person said when seeing the Fusion. There are plenty of people who want this type of car and are loyal to GM, with a refresh, I believe sales will pick up a bit till a major redo with the proper interior room is done. This is but one cog in the over all wheel. GM has come a long way in the last couple of years, so little bumps should be expected with better to be seen down the road.- 27 replies

Save the Johnson Valley OHV Area (online petition)

I totally agree with you that this is not a good use of tax payers dollars. -
Drew, this is not Political, Professional Journalism 101, Report the Facts correcting the lies and challange people to come to their own conclusion. Remember, the political drive is a 24/7 year round for those that will push to try and get the presidential position. Who knows what Mitt is up too or if he will even consider a 3rd run for the Presidents job, but his attack on America with lies needs to be corrected with impartial balanced professional journalism that allows one to state the facts and point out the errors of others and challanges the readers to decide for themselves if this is taking jobs away of just common sense business for building for the local market.

Stay American you will find the cost of repairs and maintenance to be lower than those Asian coffins. I think you should look at GMC\Buick. Why not the Encore if you are truly going to hold onto it for long term. Otherwise, there are some really nice low mileage Terrains. Or go with a Ford CUV Hybrid. My perfect auto for you would be the GMC Terrain with a VOLT powertrain.

Hiding from the feds I see!

But the implementation is that they are going to radically change their auto DNA to go in the direction they feel they need to go. This could hurt more than help Chrysler if they are not careful.

I would suggest you post 2 or 3 cars with the options you would like and let the Cheers and Gears family search the US for you. We just might find that gold nugget you want. http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/searchresults.xhtml?endYear=2014&zip=98043&listingType=used&listingTypes=used&sellerTypes=b&mmt=[PONT[GTO[]][]]&modelCode1=GTO&sortBy=derivedpriceASC&makeCode1=PONT&startYear=2000&showcaseOwnerId=0&searchRadius=0&bodyStyleCodes=COUPE&firstRecord=1&numRecords=100 Did this search for GTO on autotrader and come up with some nice rides.

Chrysler might take issue with that. It is a brave new world today with Obama sworn in and now we can focus on green and Local job creation, so heck with Chrysler and lets Import From Detroit!- 27 replies

Cheers or Jeers: 1949 Sabyan Special
G. David Felt replied to wildmanjoe's topic in Auctions and Classifieds
WOW, I agree that it needs a straight 8 for the period of the car and I find it funky how it looks like it has a waist band or may be a matchbox car in the look. Interesting, but not worth the money. -
They seem to do a bunch of talk with no follow through. Kinda like their quality, Vapor ware at it's best.

This sort of corporate commentary always amazes me. All I ever read out of the above is 'Our current stuff is a mistake, trust me that we'll get it right the next time'. You just don't DO this sort of thing intentionally in commerce. I really like the current 300, I don't know that they can go in another direction with it and not alienate the current customer base. I agree Drew, I think if they deviate from the current 300 DNA too much, they will loose the folks who are buying the auto's.
