Keep in mind that many dealers use GM financing to have auto's on the lot and GM will not want to have to discount them down to sell them in a year if it can avoid that. I have seen some small dealers that did the Halo thing with the SSR and then had them cut way down to move them which just hurts residual value.

Wonder if this started out as a neon 3rd gen before deciding it was time to go with another name?

Jaguar News: Jaguar: Compact Luxury Is The Top Priority
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Jaguar
I think they should use what they already have in spades: Jag-A Jag-B Jag-C or Jag-1 Jag-3 Jag-5 I just think they should be able to do something better than X-Type.- 7 replies

Infiniti News: Infiniti Q60 coupe arriving this summer, sort of..
G. David Felt replied to Drew Dowdell's topic in Infiniti
BACKFIRE!!! Infinity has lost touch with their customers. I understand the desire to move to a consistent naming standard, but to take a well known model and change the name but not the actual product will come across as confusing and some will see it as a cheap attempt to get more attention. I am not at all impressed with their Marketing message and when you have to aggressively defend your marketing message you have already failed. -
WOW, I like the racer Blue color, wish more car companies would give a bigger pallet of color selection. The interior is nice and I do like the simplistic approach. Yet I do agree with Drew, what is up with the center vent setup. Those two vents seem to be an after thought or maybe all the vents were up on top and the radio was where the vent is on the center stack and they decided to go with an updated touch screen and move things around as a cheap quick fix.

Good News: That hotty of a Cougar comes out of her house and tasers stalker mechanic putting him down with 50,000 volts to the jugular.

Napa sold me a puller that they said works on the 5.7 since it is in my suburban and it works like a charm. No part number on the tool but check with Napa. Or you can just buy the power steering pump with the pully on it.

I think GM needs to adjust accordingly, fullfill all big dealers first and then allow the small dealers to get their hands on one. No reason to keep the American Vette out of dealerships willing to pony up the money. I just think they need to go to those dealers that move volume first and then backfill. That would be a better way to run the program.

I disagree with you on your comment about the dart, it is anything but bland. I find it to be one of the more stylish compacts out there, far better than anything Honda, Toyota, Nissan has and competes well with GM and better than Ford products.

Boy talk about complaining to unload their problem cars with no effort to fix things. This needs to be done, they should never be allowed to sell a car with any recall no matter how small. What might be considered small to one might be huge to another especially when that auto get sold on auction and ends up cross country.

Agreed, the tuning of the total package from engine, tranny, diff to suspension etc all will contribute. I am just interested in how much of a gain they expect from the 9 speed.

GM and Chevy to address the FRS, GT-86 and BRZ?
G. David Felt replied to hyperv6's topic in Chevrolet
I agree with the whole displacement thing. My big blocks are just as efficient as my small blocks and yet they move ass very well for a suburban. -
+2 Quality Made US Steel with no Asian Lemming auto in site. Also like Balthzar pointed out, such a colorful picture at that.

That is awesome, always great to sell an item that can be put back into use by another. If he does finish the project, it would be cool to see how it turned out. Try and get some pics from the guy when he is done and post them.

GM and Chevy to address the FRS, GT-86 and BRZ?
G. David Felt replied to hyperv6's topic in Chevrolet
I have taken a I could care less since I will never fit in the car at all as it will be too small for giants like me, but for everyone else in the 5'8" tall group or shorter, I hope GM does this right to really give the market a nice pocket rocket. -
I wonder how much more MPG they will get on the Jeep. My son has a 2012 model and I wonder what the performance will be in addition to efficiency.

Not digging the high belt line, why can they not make a decent SUV without the belt line so freakin high.
