I agree with you Drew that they do have that and I am fine with it. Over all, I like the old cars with Fins, but do not need them on modern auto's. Course if they can put them on the front so we can pick off the stupid Cyclist on city streets that love to cut off auto's and yell that we are in the wrong. I am all for it.

Weird how I have missed the middle of the country in my drives. I enjoy road trips but seem to have missed driving the middle or up the east coast. Need to plan a drive from Main to Florida some time in the future.

Thank you for an enjoyable morning read while eating breakfast. It is amazing what we find when we least expect it. Good luck with your hunt.

Yawwwwwnnnnnn Nissan needs to get some mojo, currently none of these auto excite me. I get more excited about a true skyline R34 or R35 than this POS. Juke just needs to go away to jail for assualting our eyes with it's uglyness and the 370 is just rewarmed left overs.

EXCITEMENT! You guys are over blowing it on the Manual. The % of manual take is so low here they are going after the segment that wants 40+ miles but with auto. Yes it would be nice to have a stripped version with this diesel, but since most people are wanting all the top end stuff plus MPG this should do well. I agree with Drew as to why the slow roll out. In regards to California, they have such strict emissions that I doubt they want to have this car there yet.

Bentley News: Bentley SUV Reportedly Given The Green Light

WHY WHY WHY??? This weird looking auto I do not see being successful. -
Agreed, I have seen CR with way too much Agenda to hold them as a valid non bias test company of products. Plus I think this tax on the size of the engine is driving this whole small size turbo thing as the companies are logically wanting to have universal engines to sell world wide.

WOW, Old School looking but nice. Too many better options out there that I would take in place. Good write up, will be interesting to compare this to the new 2014 model.

I give it credit as it is a nice car, bit small for what I am used to in a SUV and due to being big and not as big as my Grandfathers Brougham but it is big and nice. I see the point your making Drew and compared to the competition it is stiff when I think about it, but then I was expecting I guess even more than what it is and that is a mistake now that I have thought about it. It was never meant to be a bigger version of the CTS. I still think it has a place in the Caddy line up longer than the 3-5 years people thought of as a stop gap measure.

the XTS is not at all a float ride... not even close. the 300C, S-Class and E-Class are all more floaty than the XTS is. Please don't pre-judge the car if you haven't driven it. At our local Cadillac appreciation party where they had multiple ATS, etc for us to check out ( I posted the photo's in another thread) but I only drove the FWD with my dad and while he loved the car, I still felt it was a bit of a float ride. It could be due to me driving all SUV's and my Trailblazer SS that just rides like being on rails. But to me I thought it was better than old Devill's but still was a float ride in my opinion.

Chevrolet News:Facelifted Chevy Cruze photos emerge
G. David Felt replied to Blake Noble's topic in Chevrolet
Why not take a page out of the Train Industry. Just use decent powerfull Electric engines and then have a little 1L Natural Gas generator with a step up transformer to supply the power. Green, Clean and powerful. -
This would sell big time here as Chevy has no subcompact AWD CUV. I know many people who would like this.
-
XTS makes sense to keep it around for the retiring baby boomers, livery/fleet sales. But in 5 years people who like a float ride like that will have their final car and I really only see the fleet sales for this ride.

Chicago Auto Show: Mopar 13' Dart: Comments

Interesting, An American Ricer mobile for the youth crowd who does not really care. -
This is a sad excuse and who ever approved this at dodge should be fired. Why the hell would you ever want to advertise your competitors logo on your car?

Sadly Dave did not make it from last year but seems all three of his friends did not make it either as GM was a big NO SHOW for the superbowl.

Hello Moron Politicians, We need a natural and logical next step. Since people talk about the power of energy in a gallon of gas, the logical next step is CNG or Compressed Natural Gas. This is the only thing that would get us off Oil, burns far cleaner (GREEN) and allows people to drive all over without the long wait times of charging. Some day Electric will be the new norm, but now it is inner city only driving and the real bulk of people should move to CNG for superior clean autos.
