Thanks for this very cool insight. Question for you and everyone else. If the 6.8 can get you 550HP and about 525Lbs of torque, why not use it to supercharge rather than the 6.2? Seems you can get allot more out of this 6.8 than the 6.2 based on what I have been reading? Second question, what about reliability and long life using 6.8 versus the 6.2?

True luxuy is understated and subtle, not tasteless Kardashian bling. Yet so many would hit that ass! I bet some of the switchgear is shared w/ Audi and VW, though....some of dirty bits definitely are... Very true, there are always so many dirty bits shared across family plateforms. Nothing wrong as long as it stays strong and is quality built. Yet on a 100K Luxury Sedan, I want a solid feel in my hands when I pull the handle, not some flimsy Eco Box handle.

Sure would, and the result would be closer to a modern Ute. But I've had one of those, and like the stealth factor the '77 can provide. Do it with the RamJet 502! That would sure suprise people, course the LS9 Supercharged crate engine would also rock having a stealth El Camino SS!

Little Johnny in his High School Health Ed class. The teacher has been discussing all week long about how to be protected from STD's. The teacher holds up a Box of condoms and ask's "What are these?" Little Johnny: Opportunity Teacher: Think of what we have been reading on how these protect you and what do you have? Little Johnny: A tired class of girls and guys.

Love this, not all of us are small guys, The Camero while I love it, is just too small and I do have to admit that I love the Challenger due to it being a bigger Muscle Car. Bring this on as a Chevelle and you will find many interested buyers. I being one of them.

Karma News: Fisker Taking Bids From Geely and Dongfeng
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Karma
FapTurbo I understand not liking electric and it being early, but why would you be happy to have this technology taken over by another country after it was invented here and then lost to that country when the future finally gets batteries that can hold a 300-600 mile charge? We need to continue to invest in technology and look long term, not just short term and dollar signs. -
Nice Luxury Sedan, I am sure there are NO $1.80 Door Handles on this baby.

Saw a New Tesla Model S on the way to work, guy clearly got it over the Presidents weekend based on the dates on the temp license in the rear glass. Black with chrome door handles. I have to say it was very ugly and not impressed with it.

I totally agree, friends do not let friends drive Echo's!

What happened to the photo's? I see nothing and I want to see this beauty. -
Just as many have imported real R34 and R35 skyline auto's into the US, time for you to do the same and get the Ute you always wanted.

well yes, generally; but these guys beg to differ: The only Hondas I've ever truly loved. I do also like S2000's and Integras (and wish Honda would pull their collective head out of their ass and replace them already!), but everything else can GTFO. Thanks for prooving my Point of Booring, passion less and attempted knock off of Italian auto's. Sorry but Godzilla stepped on all these auto's and someone thought it was meant to be sold rather than recycled.

Dodge News: Rumorpile: Dodge Preparing A Refresh Of The Durango?
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Dodge
No, the current Explorer is a FWD/AWD CUV, nothing truck about it. Ram is strictly truck and (commercial) van, Jeep is SUV and CUV, and Dodge is car only sounds like the long term strategy that Fiat is pushing towards... Yet people like my daughter who loves the looks and design of the Dodge Durango yet find the Jeep DNA repulsive. So then they just kiss off the hundred of thousands who supported dodge? If the durango had stayed body on frame, I could see it going into the Ram family, but as a UniBody, this SUV/CUV is fine in the Dodge family. I suspect the dodge dealers will not be too happy about loosing out to Ford and GM with only selling cars and no SUV's/CUV's. -

Kiss their technology goodbye as the Chinese take it all back to the motherland and eventually kill off Fisker. Another US created technology sold for instant gratification and the lack of balls on the investors to look long term. -
Dodge News: Rumorpile: Dodge Preparing A Refresh Of The Durango?
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Dodge
Killing off the Durango is the wrong thing, they messed up when they went from Generation 1 of the Durango to Frankenstein Durango Generation 2 full size and went down with quality. My daughter is still driving her 99 Durango saving money to buy a new Durango once the new engine / Tranny line up comes out. This should help gas mileage and with a new refreshed exterior and interior make it even more desireable. I see this as a solid cash flow product line and do not see it being killed off even when the wagoneer comes out. Just another eveolutionary change. The Durango fills a very nice mid size SUV niche that people are paying good money for. Why kill a cash cow? -
Cadillac News: Rumorpile: Good and Bad News For Cadillac
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Cadillac
GM needs to controll the Bean Counters. We all need Companies to be run profitably with minimal waste, but Bean Counters is what destroyed this counteries Auto Industry due to going over board on cheapness. A luxury $100K should have high quality components, not the cheapest around. This does not mean you go with every Tom, Dick and Henry who over charges but I have to believe that $5 door handles are far better than $1.80 Door handle. GM America WANTS TO SUPPORT AMERICA!!! $5 USA Door Handle over $1.80 China made door handle should be the way to go! In fact, the top of the line American S class competitor should be 100% USA sourced, USA Built. Having Hand built engines in a customer top of the line USA BUilt Luxury drive. THAT IS WHAT AMERICA WANTS! -
Personally that is butt ugly!
