  1. You could always invite him over for a home cooked dinner or go with the beer or better yet, if there is a 4wheelparts store close by, give him a gift card so he could get something for his jeep.
  2. Call me "someone", cuz I think it's hot. Do you find it so hot that you would spend your hard earn money sending profits over seas supporting jobs in Europe compared to buying and supporting an American company? I don't see how that's relevant to whether a car is hot. I gave an emotional response, it wasn't meant to have economic implications. But to answer your question: From what I've seen, this is expected to cost in the ballpark of $80k, perhaps more. I wouldn't spend that on any car. I also don't see myself buying a new car at all in the foreseeable future. I could, but it's a waste of money. My household's next car purchase will probably be a new commuter car for my wife. It'll probably be a 2010-2013 model purchased in '14 or '15. Something with good fuel economy and a manual trans. I'm eyeballing the Cruze & Sonic mostly. Back to the Alfa: it's hot. Glad you find it HOT! It's a NOT for me. I agree with you about new cars, I think I have bought my last one and will keep my current auto's refurbished and keep driving them till I cannot take care of them. I hate most of the new cars with all the stupid nanny technologies being forced on us by the gov.
  3. Artificial Sweetners
  4. Very cool, look forward to more pictures and a personal review of the auto.
  5. Love it, very sweet looking ride. Awesome job!
  6. Welcome #7, glad to have more folks get involved in our lively debates on the auto industry.

  8. So watching the video multiple times,it still does not thrill me especially when you consider the weight to HP and torque. I think it is over rated. Still take a lambo over this and better yet a Z01 over both.
  9. Fap I disagree, this should have been a Chrysler or Dodge CUV. The Jeep Brand has been very profitable with the marketing of going off trail in the rugged out doors world. I do not see this ugly CUV being needed under the Jeep Banner.
  10. How about an Upgrade Line! This I could see for rebuilding, rejuvenating and just plain changing from say petrol to Bio-Diesel or CNG.
  11. Yea, 9 1/2 hrs into the 7th and no info....................
  12. H'mm this guy clearly has never gone off road in any real 4x4. This plastic front nosed ugly kid is going to get broken up big time. It is NOT 2019, The customers have clearly stated they like the box on wheels look and if they wanted to get to this body style in 2019, then they should have started with a mild change towards that body style now and in 2 years taken it a bit farther and then in 2019 did this. Consumers expecially the off road crowd is not going to like this futuristic Jelly bean that is not really for the 4x4 crowd but aimed as a FWD CUV pavement only crowd.
  13. BioDiesel and CNG would be good alternative for this little baby.
  14. Saw a brand new Abarath 500 today on the way into work. Both man driving and lady passenger were really big people and look uncomfortable in that little ugly auto. Still not impressed with it.
  15. The Autocar story tends to tell me they are not happy with their S car and as such have held back to start over. I think Mercedes finally sees Audi and BMW as moving in on their turf, but what is not said is that I suspect they are actually seeing Cadillac sales crunch in on their sales.
  16. Ethonal
  17. Spill the Beans, what model, what detials, pictures please
  18. BioDiesel
  19. That is about right for all the seniors there. Definitely not seniors..BMW 6 series here seem to attract a younger douchebag demo... WOW, The Drug Trade must be good there so close to the border! They must be really pushing the credit limit for the young Douchebags to afford a 6 series.
  20. Or a place to install child or dog seats The Maserati coupe and convertible is a neat car, see a few around once in a while...fairly scarce. Scarce, yes. Over here too. There's a black one that parks in the office building in front of the one I'm located at and it's just Sadly they are very popular in seattle and you see them daily. Nice cars but not as rare as they would seem to be elsewhere. The luxo coupe/convertible in a similar price range that seems very popular around here (in Scottsdale and Paradise Valley, mostly) is the BMW 6 series, and most seem to have the full douchebag trim--black w/ oversized bling wheels, etc. That is about right for all the seniors there.
  21. So then you propose the following if I am reading your response right: Entry Level - 6.2L De-Contented V8 Mid Level - 6.2L standard V8 High Level - 6.2L Supercharged V8 Could there be room for a 2nd mid level V8 that does not have supercharging or turbo charging but is just Performance tuned/tweaked and this way you have one standard block for the whole family?
  22. That's the point I was making... I know the technology is advanced and how they drive is probably incredible, but the designs of these new supercars leave me cold. They all look like they were drawn up by 12 yr old video gamers. There is nothing like the beauty of designs like the Miura, Ferrari 250 GTO, Ferrari 250 Lusso, Ferrari 365 GTB/4 (Daytona) etc in them... there is no sexy in these modern supercar designs, only bling, brutality and violence. What else does the human need ofther than Bling, Brutality and Violence? Just look at the current state of the world! We so need another Love revolution!
  23. Sad, if they had only brought product updates sooner and actually focused on select popular ways of using the auto's they probably would still be around.
