  1. Very true that MB needs to move fast. I hope that with the recent changes of leadership for Cadillac that they properly build the showroom and give a complete family of auto choices to be the world class leader again.
  2. The 8.1L was very cool in my book and if you supercharged them you had a true beast.
  3. Very cool, Love the collection. Thank you for sharing.
  4. regfootball, I disagree with you on Epic Fail, no cloth. This car is exactly what I hear from people, a compact with high gas mileage and creature comforts of a more up scale car but in an economical package. I think they hit it right on. Very excited to see this car and I know of a couple ladies that are wanting to go test drive it and compare to the VW Jetta TDI. I think they will like this over the VW.
  5. I agree with dwightlooi that this engine should be used in the Volt or ELR. They should have CNG and Diesel if they really wanted to be efficient.
  6. wow, I was reviewing cause I thought I had seen the 8.1L, but what I have just realized is you have for the following engines in the US: 1500 Line up 4.3L V6 4.8L V8 5.3L V8 6.2L V8 2500/3500 Line up 6.0L Vortec MAX V8 6.6L Duramax Diesel I truly got confused between the models.
  7. Thongs and Vanilla Ice!
  8. wow that is interesting line up, so you do not have the option for the 6.2 or 8.1 L engines?
  9. Love the sticker price of the diesel with a starting price of just over $25K. I think this will be a winner for Chevy. Should really drive traffic.
  10. I hope your truly talking about the variations of models from 4door, 2door, convertible, etc as I find with the exception of the M and AMG line BMW and MB style is way to bland and boring for what they sell and Cadillac is far better with their Arts and Science style.
  11. Ocnblu everything will be roomy for a tiny guy like you. For most people subcompact is a no go from the start and I think this market is over built and over hyped. Sweet point is the compact to mid size market for the US. Still I would want GM to have quality products at every sales point. I think the subcompacts could really have gone with far superior power-trains. I think they could have done a crazy high mileage diesel as well as a Hybrid. CNG should also be done.
  12. Complaints or Complements? I guess I do not hang out in the same Forums as I do not see the complaints about the V6 clicking noise. I do see and hear lots of complements on how well GM is executing compared to days of old pre Bankrupt.
  13. I agree with the clean center stack. I am also glad they kept to the concept as this will help them sell more models
  14. Good Luck, My experience with this car line has been nothing short of tragic. While they have interesting style, I do not see them being as successful as they think in the US. They have plenty of old horror stories to overcome. 300000 by 2020 is a more realistic goal.
  15. Exactly, spend all that money for an uncomfortable ride. Quality of Life, Safety and common sense needs to come before the knee jerk reaction of just buying small or subcompact small.
  16. New Modern versions probably all DI engines as part of the complete EcoTec Engine family?
  17. Miami Vice
  18. This is exciting news, I really hope Mr. Butler can grasp the Euro Market and create the much needed Dealership experience to get Sales of Cadillac going while still growing the US market. I wish Mr. Majoros the best in taking on Cadillac. Just remember this is no Chevy and needs their own special take on the Marketing Mojo. I missed not seeing Cadillac on the commercials at the Superbowl.
  19. Bad news: Your mother confines on her death bed that your father is not really your father but your distant 3rd uncle is and he is a potato farmer from Pocatello.
  20. Where did all the K cars go? They saved Chrysler, but seem to have disappeared from society. Imagen finding a low mileage barn find.
  21. Look forward to hearing about the truck once you get to check it out.
  22. At the local Taco Time, they had a Hot Rod preview of an up coming show on friday. Most of the cars were 57 & 58 Chevy's in various stages from just starting to restore to completed and beautiful. There was one freaking hot looking Corvair. Wish I had my camera, going to try and get back on friday with the camera to check out the rides.
