OUCH, they really zing ya for that throttle body. Good luck with it over the next few month. Hope it hangs in there and does not cause any more issues for you. Look forward to getting an ownership review once you get your new ride.

Maserati Gives The Details On 2014 Ghibli :Comments

Very cool details, I love that all the engines have real HP along with even bigger Torque that actually moves the ride. Should be great to have Torque monsters like this. -

Very true, I would think a 1L diesel should clearly give them a huge boost in mileage.- 7 replies

Saw an awesome mint condition Plymouth Fury III today. It really was sweet for a car that was not a sales hit that I can tell.
-
WOW, That really sucks. I am actually really surprised that they have manual adjustment lifters in this day and age. I do not think GM has any manually adjustable lifters in any of their engines in the last 15 years or so. If you do not mind me asking, what does Honda want for a new Throttle Body? I would clean it up and us it as a trade in for that awesome new Encore.

Yes I agree. This engine in the Encore would make that one hot ride!

Fiat News: Fiat Expects To Lose $10,000 On Every 500e Sold
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Fiat
The whole subsidy for electric cars is a joke. Electric cars are no where ready for mass transit, road trips, etc. Even with building a so called electric highway as they did in washington, Oregon and california with I5 having all these level 1-3 chargers, you still have excess days to get from state to state. You cannot go from say seattle to redding california in 1 day with an electric car. We should stop wasting millions on these charging stations and electric car purchases as we are only wasting tax dollars and burdening the future with debt and interest for the few that actually drive them. If they want to get greener, then they should put these subsidy in CNG as a logical next step away from Petrol.- 7 replies

I don't need an extended cab or dually...
G. David Felt replied to Camino LS6's topic in Auctions and Classifieds
WOW, that is a sweet ride. Very clean and nice. Amazing only 43K miles for 15 years old. They barely drove it. -
weird, I thought I was the only one that had imagined responses I did and I am noticing area's that I swear I responded in as not having any of my posts. Something really weird happened or the database crashed and was restored and it lost a chunk of our posts and changes. Very weird, seems big brother might be making changes or someone.

Very cool concept. I like this allot. Come in Turbo 4 banger, diesel, V6 and hybrid and they have a winner on their hands. -
It will be interesting to see if GM brings to America their Baby Duramax engines. I would love a mid size CUV with the 2.9L version.

Hyper, share the info as right now I read your input and my take is that you feel this is more emotional than rational. Why peopler are moved by emotion and auto's can tend to be a most crazy emotional purchase, Dwight brings up some valid points that I agree with. I read what Lutz has stated and yes he makes some valid points but then he is also an ex-executive that had more than enough push to maximize his own performance bonus for maximum pay. I find comments he has made conflict with decisions he made on the volt. The Volt power train should have gone right into SUV's, Full size vans as well as the 4 door 4 passenger volt. GM need to eat it in the shorts and spread this technology across the product line. I bet if they to a Buick Encore and gave it the VOLT power train AWD version it would sell like hot cakes. There is more than enough proof that build the right solution and it will make you money. There is a clear need for FWD or RWD and AWD VOlt powertrain auto's. Use a diesel or CNG generator and move forward.

Seattle has tons of 2000 and up models all over, but 90's and older seem to be getting scarce. I wonder if due to the amount of liquid money here if they ship them out of the area or over to 3rd world countries.

Knightfan, remember they always over ask for skill sets. I am sure you have more than enough skills in the right section for a job. Apply, you have nothing to loose and plenty to gain. Plus GM Loves people that Love GM. -
