  1. Agree, fix the ugly and then take a few extra months to make sure it is really quality. This sounds like a disaster in the making for Jeep.
  2. Would it be due to the large amount of Animation they consume so they are constantly making anime cars that are a love it or hate it look. After all Anime is all about a certain look, not a driving dynamic. They need to go to the Autobahn to learn driving dynamic. Asia = NO DRIVING DYNAMIC.
  3. Sounds Sweet, thanks for the post of info.
  4. Right on Lamar, each auto is designed for a specific market and there is a need for each niche.
  5. Just think when you have a surge of electricity and everything shorts out. What a Hell it will be trying to fix it. Might as well just crush the car and buy a new one. So much for being a freedom machine, they will find a way to control us as the US goes down the road of Socialism.
  6. I am not sold on the tubo V6 engines like some others here are. I remember the first round of Turbo 4 bangers and v6's from the 80 and while things have gotten better in build quality, the mileage under real world driving does not improve that much. GM offering a volt drive train and diesels/CNG in the full size will get much better results and green credentials. Public preception is very important and right now People want their big roomy auto's but also a bit of green. I think they could do better on this front.
  7. For $54K (Tahoe), it's not going to help the image any. It hasn't in 6 years, anyway. But niether has their $50K regular gas version. People who use these auto's are still buying them but as far as gaining new ones, they need to take a volt approach to the full size SUV's and still give hit towing capability while doubling the gas mileage and they will see sales.
  8. Sweet Looking Truck. GMC is on a roll with their Trucks, now to just get the full size Yukon to look better than the girly style it has. I would love the look of the Terrain on the Yukon. That would be one hot Full Size SUV.
  9. Keep your auto braking system out of my auto. Too early and do not need it plus the extra weight.
  10. GM Needs a Torquey High Mileage V4, V6, and V8 Diesel for small and large trucks and SUV's. They could have a better image if they actually advertised their 22MPG Hybrid SUV Tahoe, Yukon & Escalade. This beats their 15mpg versions. Yet GM seems to not really want to do Hybrids. The VOLT system should be in a Suburban, this is a perfect place for this type of power train. GM should also be pushing more for CNG. They have brought out products but no marketing and the dealerships are really not into doing it either. Lost opportunity to make clean burning engines.
  11. Give me the clear line of sight of my 94 GMC Subububan with a modern small block V8 Diesel or better yet CNG, around 300HP, 450lbs of torque, update the dash to have a modern NAV, Stereo and better interior materials, but keep the 2nd row bench fold flat into the floor and removable 3rd seat but in split style for lite removal and the final piece would be AWD. I would be happy to have this for road trips, driving up the mountain for skiing and camping and general hauling of trailers/toys. Course I am going to build my own, so I will end up with it one way or another.
  12. Interior is OK, but I get Dejavu that this was a warmup of the left over MayBach car designs and very 90's dated. Interior is nice and I have no problems with that, but like Drew, I will have to warm up to this ugly one. -1 for the dated body style.
  13. WOW, I see now why you took so many pictures down low and did not show off the poor back window design. This has got to be one of the ugliest cars I have ever seen and clearly could use some help in the design language category outside. I know the inside seems to be pretty good, but the rest of this car is a mess. I would suggest they make a major remake of the body style.
  14. Cobbled Crap, he must have been over paid to have money to waste on this vision. WOW not a good thing unless you need an engine. Might be worth the $3000 they are asking from a parts stand point.
  15. New Ford C-Max Hybrid in Candy Blue. Very cool color.
  16. That sounds like a true bend over and take it like a man statement! I vote the 4-6-8 V8 as one of the worst engines ever right up with the lousy Diesel converted V8's GM built also.
  17. I agree with Drew, I drove both a FWD and AWD model and I was really surprised. This is not your Grandfathers FWD. The FWD is really well controlled and the AWD is amazingly well balanced. I would say that many could not tell the difference between the AWD XTS and an Audi.
  18. Interesting = EXCITEMENT! Best news I have heard yet for Caddy. Focus on quality high profit auto's that drive people to want to own a Caddy.
  19. Wrong product, they are too late for this limited market segment. They need to update and revitalize their current products to bring excitement back into it.
  20. Clearly the capitain is asleep at the wheel for steering Acura. They need new blood for cleaning up this house and getting it invigerated.
  21. Wont Happen! The CEO is clearly drinking the wrong punch. Start with better cars, not boring equal stuff to Toyota. I agree with all that has been posted here so far, but they have to wake up to the fact that they do not have a desirable product line to the youth and with debt still an issue for Americans, they need to look at bringing in quality products that drive EXCITEMENT, not BORING as their current product line does.
  22. I found that this engine under the Nissan NV200 is rated at 48.6mpg. They also have a diesel version that is rated at 53.3mpg. Chevy should have both engines at launch in addition to the CNG version which is also rated at 48.6 mpg as this could really turn into an cash cow for them as fleets move to fuel efficient service/work mini vans.
  23. Was talking with a few guys who are on the GM Fleet sales and host the GM Fleet linkedin group and they say a CNG version is also being considered since this van has CNG in Europe. This would meet the needs of cities that are requiring taxi's and inner city deliveries to be on a green source of energy. I see big potential here for this.
  24. Did Lambo's 50th birthday spawn a crisises that could only be answered by the crazest of cars? Read the review and sound off on your thoughts of this super super car.
