  1. You database destruct-or!
  2. My house is almost all LED now and I love it since most of my lighting has been changed to be indirect daylight equal so it is nice and bright and yet easy on the eyes. I have noticed my usage has gone down though the power company has raised rates so I am pretty much breaking even. Yet if I was still on the old lights, I would have seen a large increase in cost.
  3. In some cases, the auto makers just are not providing what the public really wants. I can tell you GM would move a ton of full size SUV's aka Suburbans and Yukon XL's if they had it with a diesel v8. Better would be cng available or a hybrid VOLT style.
  4. Posting of this old new and nary a word on the first reviews of the CTS? Anyone with any real intent on bidding is well aware of this event with the coverage it already has had. Hyper there is still plenty of us that want to dream though we cannot afford to bid and buy.
  5. The pictures are pretty cool to look at as it is amazing to see they left all the shipping material on most of the new auto's so they are in sweet shape.
  6. Got it, Sorry HyperV6
  7. Extreme compensation
  8. Ultimate barn finds are far and few between but then you have those really strange ones that show up and shock people. A chevy dealer for five decades who retired in 1996 has decided it is time to sell his collection. 1958 Chevy Pickup with 1.3 miels 1964 Impala with 4 miles 1978 Corvette Indy Pac Car edition with 4 miles 1963 Corvair Monda Coupe with 13 miles 1960 Corvair Monda 4dr sedan with 1.7 miles 1977 Chevy Vega Hatchback Wagon with 1 mile 1986 Cavalier 4dr sedan with 24 miles 1990 Chevy Lumina Van with .9 miles Inventory List Inventory.pdf Plus tons of parts, signs, documents, etc. The auto's are being auctioned off due to the land being developed. This story hit news today http://autos.yahoo.com/news/nearly-500-classic-chevy-found-nebraska-181608803.html Yet the original story was back in June of this year and never really seemed to gather any attention. http://autos.yahoo.com/blogs/motoramic/scores-chevys-hidden-50-years-finally-sale-160911547.html http://autos.yahoo.com/photos/the-survivors-cars-of-the-lambrecht-collection-slideshow/ Auction to take place Sept 28th & 29th. http://www.vanderbrinkauctions.com/auctions_details.php?detail=135&allimages=NO
  9. Insurance
  10. Agree, I honestly cannot recall an ad for that auto.
  11. I will never give up my natural gas range, cooking is awesome and way better than electric can ever be. Pasta does boil over but should be easy to control and Rice cook it in a proper rice cooker.
  12. I wonder how long before we see a consolidation in the Luxury segment as only so many cars can be consumed on this planet? Wonder who might go away and who might just become a specialty segment for a bigger auto company?
  13. Or due to the EPA and Auto companies pushing to have air streamed jelly beans we have lost the ability to have nice designs that people like so people are holding onto what they like and making them last since it is cheaper.
  14. The push to have higher minimum wage jobs is not going to help but hinder people spending money. If the idiots that feel minimum wage should be higher only looked at the bigger picture they would realize that McDonalds, Denny's etc were never meant to be full time life long jobs. It was a job to get you going while you looked for something better, got educated or showed you could work hard to go into a assistant mgmt job. These are starter jobs and we need as low as possible minimum wage to get kids to learn how to work and work the fast food jobs. If someone wants to be a burger flipper for life that is fine then they will have to accept a lower standard of living and not expect to ever own a house or nice new car.
  15. 2014 Tahoe/Yukon if they have them. For Cadillac I would be interested if they show the latest version of CUE and how it works compared to past efforts.
  16. Went for a drive with the wife and we stopped in Enumclaw Washington before driving up to Mt. Rainier for Breakfast. Discovered they had a huge old auto show that covered just about everything from the Model A Ford up to the 70's. Covered 6 city blocks and 3 huge parking lots. I ended up spending a couple hrs with the wife walking around and snapping pictures. The wife was really impressed with this pretty Red Cab over and the wood bed that showed a lot of TLC. Will get images posted this week. Some amazing rides from all over the world.
  17. LOL stealing a Oldsmobile tag line I see, was it the early 90's that they use the tag "This is not your dads Oldsmobile!"
  18. I have no problem with hybrid or electric powerplants as that is the future to deliver performance and better mileage, but shrinking a car down and still calling it a Z is just wrong. Going smaller and trying to say it is the same as the outgoing model is not the right marketing thing to do and I think this will backfire in their face.
  19. I think we are going to be in interesting times over the next 10yrs as auto companies roll out a new generation of hybrid performance auto's. I think we will see a whole new industry around performance electric motors, Performance electric batter packs, performance electric enhancements period. Who ever has the time and money to invest now will rule this market as it continues to mature. Performance step up converters, performance capacitors, etc........
  20. step in the right direction by attacking the issue rather than deigning it like Ford has done before plus many others.
  21. bobo are you sure in how they are purchased as I have never heard that they had a no haggle price. Here in Washington you haggle on their price like anything else.
  22. Balthazar I do see your point and I think some will be confused by this marking. I think Cadillac has done a far better choice by having their CTS, CTS Sport and CTS V editions. This clearly tells you, you have gone from bottom to mid to top in their auto line up.
  23. Auto looks dated like Drew stated, 90 era concept station wagon to me. EXCITEMENT for a versatile platform but otherwise need to update the looks.
  24. Oil Well
  25. If customers are willing to bank roll it, then why not. Be interesting to see what a half million dollar SUV would be. Right now the images at The Truth About Cars looks like a station wagon on steroids more than an SUV.
